Romance › Re: Top 10 Mentality Of An Average Lady by lockupman(m): 11:30am On Dec 17, 2014*. Modified: 11:49am On Dec 17, 2014 |
People with ur reasoning made me stop being nice. I knew a pretty thick babe in my area sha. I entered a bus with her ( I didn't drive cos I was not going to far distance), I paid her fare. We knew ourselves before o @ least on a hi-hi basis. Only for this girl to see me after paying for her fair on several occasion, she'll be dodging. She stop saying hi to me. Based on who I be na, I lockedup totally. God come punish her on two different coincidental location, I saw her first a sandfill in vi, bus nor dey rara, see crowd. I drove to pick up pple going to costain, just to help, I saw her wella and she saw me too korokoro. I form blindness. Shame nor gree the emptily proud girl enter my car. I zoomed off. Another one, I saw her at that ungodly mile-oshodi express way on a weekend, na cos of her I purposely go stop there and ask her to hop in make bad thing no go happen to her there, cos God fit vex for me. Even if I wanted to toast her, she has lost regard I once gave her cos of her too much empty pride. Now when she sees me, she'll form wanting to hail but I dey place her for one-side. Most times I go lockup, form not-seeing her. I just thank God that I won't finally marry a naija girl. Their mentality turns me off especially those ones that purport to be educated (cos they can't keep a marriage and build a home) forming fine girl @ 42. Evina: Tosin, number 8 is sooo true about men!
The other day, I was buying oranges. I said to the seller, "please give me soft ones cos I want to juice them". Next thing I heard a voice that wasn't the seller say, "why only the soft ones"? I no answer. After my selection, the guy paid. I said thank you and was on my way, when he rushed to catch up with me.
I am usually not friendly with guys I don't know, but decided to change since a new year is approaching. LOL. I even gave him my number, an act I regret doing because na so so super story and Ikebe super gist the guy dey disturb me with since then.
All because, I was nice enough to boost his ego by letting him pay for my oranges.
This scenario happens every time. They pay for stuff you did not ask them to pay for and give you lifts because they want to "try their luck" and not because they are angels sent to make your day. |

Congrats bro. You're carried and blessmatized nwanne innovativeame: I woke this morning with red - eyes. Thanks to the taxi driver who gave me a call at exactly 4:03 am. Otherwise, it would have been another story. I arrived the consulate at 5:30 am. The crowd was not as I expected. I became uptight and nervous, in the quest to calm my nervousness, I was asking babes and blokes if they are on Nairaland but their responses were negative, I couldn't believe I had no brother from the thread . Furthermore, I had to run a brief interview with those blokes, in another sad moment, their responses were against what my coaches here have been stating, before a bad company corrupts a good habit, I had to refrain from all form of communication. On the other hand, I kept my mouth opened so that it won't stink when I'll be chatting with the VO. After all the checks and drama, the adjudication process began with 1st 3 folks facing rejection. I was still keeping my cool, still ruminating on the words of the elders on NL (confidence is key). Here comes my turn at Window 7 with a white lady in her late 20s or very early 30s. She's rejected 5 persons and approved 2 before me. I was trying to use my Mathematics mind to compute the sequence and possibly derive a formula for approval or denial but my sequence was not convergent. I walked close to the counter where my number was displayed, this is what transpired; Me: hey !how is it going? VO: very well VO: You are going to Illinois state University? Me: Exactly VO : When did u graduate Me:2012 VO: where did u school? Me: University of Lagos VO: what Degree? Me: Bachelor of science in Education VO : How did u choose this school? Me: I did a comprehensive research online by cataloging using Princetonreview.Com, usnews.com and stateuniversity.com. VO: Did you apply to other schools Me: yes I did Vo:: hmm mm, ok Me: North Carolina A $ T state university, Arizona state University and SIUE VO: What will this degree do for you? ME: When I return to NIGERIA, I'll take over my uncle's Science college VO : Science college? (With a chuckle) Me: (smiling sheepishly ) VO: Did u take GRE ME: yes I did Vo: can I have your test report? Me: sure (gave it to her with a a smile) V O: who is your sponsor? Me: My mum is my main sponsor but my uncle will be supporting (still staring at her while she nodded) VO: she gave me a white paper me : was still staring with ambivalent feelings VO: pick up your visa on Friday in VI Me: Thank you! Recommendations; 1. Pray enough because men who kneel before God can can stand before men. 2. Make ur response simple until u are asked to expatiate by the VO 3. Maintain eye contact until u hear the golden remark. 4. Don't be scared when u see other persons being denied, that could trigger some funny hormones in ur system. Appreciation: God uses people to bless us, I will be such an ingrate if I do not mention few names who were part of this race. Thanks to slimmy05, my brother,my chief editor, special adviser on standardized test issues, I can't forget Bigfrancis for taking time out to help even when it is not comfortable, Oga Walspring -general commentator, Prof ImPeriouxx ,adviser on public matters . My boat rocks today becos of everyone on this thread. I've learnt from people's approval and rejection, the comments, hilarious comments and all the saga. *trust me, I was literally flying while walking out of the consulate, I trekked from the consulate to Obalende without the knowledge of it* |

I totally agree with you. unmask: But seriously I find it hard to believe some Nigerians blame the west for all our problems..... Funny.... Real funny
One even said that was why the igbos wanted to pull out (it is no longer because of the progrom)
If Nigeria likes it should divide.... The same problems will still be there or are they planning to divide to 250 tribes?
Or have we forgotten the issue of the female judge that couldn't be judge? Or the priest that caused a protest?
I can't argue anything neither am I ready to read any book written by someone trying to gain black sympathisers....
But Nigerians are nigeria's problem |
