Madiebo was NOT on the Ore battle-field, but Godwin Alabi-Isama was there.
Even before then, the "Biafran Liberation Force" was held up at a bridge at Ore by about 180 soldiers before they received backup from Abeokuta and Ibadan. An old soldier amongst this group of 180 told the story 2 years ago (widely reported in the dailies).

Error from who?
Was it an error from the person allegedly executed, or from the coup plotters, or the writer who was not there, or the OP who was not born then?
From the writer. You can insinuate whatever you wish, but the murders carried out that night were properly and well investigated by the Nigerian Police of the era (who were well trained officials).

Shocking story.....Regrettable Bloodshed

I'm i the only one who noticed that the narrator, Dr Ishaku Pam is in fact the then 1yr 9month old son of the late Col Pam?
Apparently he is privy to his family history.

yes Ironsi Was just pretending.
He is likely aware of the coup.
Fact is, many in the hierarchy knew a coup was in the offing; many just didnt realize they would be victims. These senior soldiers (non-Igbo that is) didn't realize the coup they'd heard rumors about wasn't going to be about a united military takeover.

Ojukwu for rather strange reasons that could have been for political aim settled for a yoruba of all people...he perhaps trusted Banjo too much since they were said to friends. And Banjo wasn't "stopped" at Ore, at the time the Biafrans had the momentum and could have advanced to Lagos as the road to Lagos was not defended...
Lol. Ojukwu and Banjo friends? Indeed cats and rats can be friends. Look, Ojukwu sent Banjo on a suicide mission. He knew getting to Lagos via land was impossible. He sent him to his death; same way he sent Nzeogwu to his death. He eliminated perceived rivals and consolidated power even at the cost of weakening his forces.

Igbo's, Hausa's and Yoruba's were among the soldiers with Major Kaduna Nzeogwu.
He said they were fully armed and would have shot him if they were against the coup d'etat.
Only ignorant idiots called it "Igbo" coup.
FYI, Nzeogwu shot and killed Adegoke (one of the boys he commanded). These were young men following the orders of their superior who had lied to them that they were going on a field (training) exercise. What else can they possibly do but follow orders?

The young mutineers had it as their mission to purge the young country of stinking corruption.
Are you aware of the corruption charge Major Okafor had faced? Are you aware that his career was rescued (as he should have been dishonorably dismissed) by his boss (Maimalari) whom he later murdered?

How do you expect him to win against the VP?

So you have 20 days or less to hurry to alert them to go respond. Good luck!

"Jonathan, who left office in May 2015, and Diezani Alison-Madueke, his long-time petroleum minister who was also the first woman president of OPEC, do not feature on the list."
But they are alleged to have played a central role in the deal, which saw ENI and Shell make a $1.3 billion payment in 2011 for an offshore oil block in Nigeria.
