If the matching algorithm is simple enough, it merely means nobody is making a GH request matching that amount (too large). Simple enough. |

OBAGADAFFI: How can the Military give IDP coordinates to a Fighter-Jet pilot.
It simply means they don't have visuals of their target before firing. Let the investigation conclude before your own conclusion arrives. We do not know whether or not the wrong coordinates were given. It could be a malfunction of the device, or it could be pilot error despite being given the right coordinates. |

Yes, Americans routinely do this and cover it up. It is easy to cover up when you control the media and you are in foreign land. It would be harder to cover up if their atrocities were committed on American soil. |

It is actually better to marry an Oyinbo or African American using your logic, if you think about it well. All African women abroad are overwhelmed by this new "power over the fate of men" that their transgressions are at another level. |

Eledan: I understand your point, but the truth is that it's virtually impossible for NPA to touch the Federal roads as they can't budget for such amount from their revenue ( we are even under TSA), NPA just did the inner auxiliary road in the Tin-Can port axis. All it takes is a review of the laws governing the NPA by the Senate. The entire Apapa axis is a mess; I always dread heading in that direction. It has also affected the local economy of the area. |
Politics › Re: 2017: S/south, S/west Gulp 52% Of Federal Roads Budget by logica(m): 11:57am On Jan 17, 2017 |
Eledan: Right from the mouth of Apapa wharf down to the Ijora bridge is a mess, JB just did a shoddy remedial job at the Leventis axis which has made traffic even worse as they installed a barrier to prevent trucks from accessing the bridge. Meanwhile, the Tin-Can First gate through Trinity bus stop to Berger is an eyesore to and from. These two roads constitute a huge chunk of Nigeria revenue and they are allowed to rot away simply because we have a govt that don't care as long as the revenue don't stop. See? The repair for the roads should be budgeted for from source (NPA revenue) and regularly maintained. NPA should completely own the roads. No need for bureaucracy and continually waiting on Federal allocation for road repairs. Not rocket science. |
Politics › Re: 2017: S/south, S/west Gulp 52% Of Federal Roads Budget by logica(m): 11:39am On Jan 17, 2017 |
Eledan: All these roads are roads that leads into Lagos and roads that Nigerians use to acess the sea and air Ports in Lagos This definitely is neither a favour to SW nor Lagos in particular. These are definitely not SW projects I really think all the roads leading to Apapa should be maintained by NPA. They have a high revenue turnover and are perfectly capable of repairing all the roads continually damaged by the heavy traffic of trailers to and from the ports. |

Qelvin: The war itself was avoidable, it's a sad part of our history that will haunt the nation forever, I wouldn't know why Ojukwu invaded the Midwest, the only thing that makes sense to me would be that reasons could be political, to reach out to the Western and Midwestern regional leaders in an effort to forget a tie for Southern solidarity, if the invasion was simply for his personal gain, then may history judge him..but then he is dead now, and still remains a symbol of heroism and honor to the Igbo nation for at least standing up to for his people due to the cataclysm of killings of his people, all this in spite of his flaws...both sides made mistakes, and unfortunately millions had to die for the obstinacy of two young military gentlemen..Gowon and Ojukwu. I like your tone; but just to set the records straight, the only obstinate young man was Ojukwu. Gowon did everything he could to avoid war. There was absolutely no reason to push into the Midwest; it was a rash and ill-calculated move especially given the fact that dialog was afoot. It then appeared the move for dialog was nothing but a subterfuge/diversion. That is not how to wage a war. |

Qelvin: if the old Midwest and Western region had aligned with the Biafran forces who deemed themselves a "Liberation" force at the time I am glad you put the "Liberation" in quote because you cannot be liberating anything with a group of untrained, marauding boys camouflaging as soldiers. The Yorubas are no slouches in warfare in any case and needed no liberation. Awolowo was already planning a meeting with Ojukwu on the way forward when he caught wind of the Midwest invasion and quickly backtracked. You claim you want to forge an alliance while your actions say the opposite. Of course as they say, the rest is history. |
