Onyejiuwaokoh:I only know there are states in Nigeria. I don't understand what you mean by pdp state. As long as misdeeds and wrongdoings are being corrected, I think well-meaning populace of this country don't care whose arss is left unwiped. When you are not duly elected and a court of law strikes out your eligibility, then it is called justice not witchcraft or witch-hunt or whatever you people call it. |

Onyejiuwaokoh:I understand your grievances but I do not share your pain. If the rule of law is meted out and all you see is condemnation, then you are not far from the problem of this nation. |

https://cdn.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Darius-Dickson-Ishaku.gif?9c7610 No fewer than seven people were killed and 16 others injured in a fresh violence that broke out yesterday in Wukari local government area of Taraba State. The ugly development is coming barely 24 hours after the state election petition tribunal sacked the governor, Darius Ishaku. It was gathered that trouble started when residents of Wukari reacted angrily to the tribunal verdict. “When the sad news got to the town, supporters of both parties suddenly started killing themselves,” a resident told Leadership, adding that property worth millions of Naira was also destroyed. According to him, the crisis has now turned into a Christians versus Muslims fight. “The crisis, as we are talking, has turned into religious fight. The Christians are alleging that the tribunal chairman, who ordered the removal of Governor Ishaku was biased,” he said. Reacting to the development, spokesman of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP Joseph Kwaji, confirmed the crisis, but said he was yet to ascertain the actual figure of casualties. On his part, the senior special adviser on media and publicity to Governor Ishaku, Mr. Slyvanus Giwa, said soldiers had been drafted to the area to control the situation. “Normalcy is gradually returning to the ancient city of Wukari and government is doing its best to ensure that people go about their normal businesses,” he said. He warned that anyone who tried to take the laws into their hand would be arrested to face the law. http://dailypost.ng/2015/11/09/taraba-seven-feared-killed-as-muslims-christians-fight-dirty-over-ishakus-removal/ |

https://cdn.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Senator-Ali-Ndume.jpg?c89eca The Senate Leader, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has predicted that many Senators elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will soon be cross-carpeting to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Disclosing this in an interview with Leadership, Ndume based this claim on his belief that the, “PDP is in a coma and only God knows when it will recover. As you can see now, they do not have any doctor or pharmacist and the only nurse is Olisa Metuh.” While dismissing speculations that some APC members in the Senate are planning to join the PDP as a way of securing the party’s ticket, he said, “I am part of some of the APC members trying to convince some of them over to move over to our side and they will soon move in their numbers in the Senate. “So, when you tell me that APC members are going over to the PDP, it is strange to me because like I said earlier, I am trying to convince some of my colleagues over to the APC. And you know that electoral shock is worse than electric shock. That was what PDP suffered and they had a relapse again by the decisions at the tribunals so, we do not know when they will get out of it,” the APC chief stated. http://dailypost.ng/2015/11/08/pdp-is-in-coma-with-no-doctor-only-nurse-metuh-is-treating-it-senate-leader-ndume/ |

*Demands release of IPOB protesters https://cdn.dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Igbo-Day-celebration.jpg?0bfa41 Igbo Day celebration Igbo Mandate Congress has condemned the hate speeches against other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria which characterized the face of Radio Biafra. Speaking with co-coordinators of the group at an emergency meeting in Enugu to evaluate the implication of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) successful protest march in Onitsha, Asaba, Owerri and Yenegoa on Friday, the Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress, Rev Obinna Akukwe, described the hate speeches as contrary to the spirit of Biafra. According to Rev Akukwe “abusing the Hausa, the Fulani, and the Yoruba in the course of pursuing Biafra is anti-Christian. Christianity cannot support the dissemination of hate messages against fellow living beings created by God,and Igbos are predominantly Christians, rather anybody or group that wants Biafra should pursue it within the ambits of reasonable processes and international conventions.” Rev Akukwe described the protesters as people who had been deceived into solely blaming the Nigerian project for the insensitivity of South East Leaders. Clarifying further, he said that “since 1999, Igbos have occupied positions of Senate Presidency, Deputy Senate Presidency, Party Chairmanship, Secretary to the Government of Nigeria, and yet the al important Enugu-Onitsha Highway, Enugu-Nsukka Highway from Opi to 9th Mile and Enugu-Port-Harcourt Highway from the Okigwe end are the worst roads in Nigeria due to their selfish representations at the center. “These political bandits failed to ensure that these roads were repaired from the Obasanjo era through to the Jonathan administration, preferring to pursue contracts and appointments. We should blame our corrupt Igb0 leadership first for our woes and make them to account for years of selfish superintendent over our destinies before blaming outside accomplices.” He called upon the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanui and all arrested protesters and prepare them for proper reorientation and reintegration. The Abia State Coordinator of IIgbo Mandate Congress and founding Secretary General of Ohanaeze Youths Council , Comrade Chuks Ibegbu in his submissions said that “we must be careful with these protests in order not to be used by selfish elements because there is not much difference between these agitations and the money making sentiments used by MASSOB leader Uwazurike over the years. Our people must be careful not to be dragged into another conflict driven by self interests. “Security agencies should release the misguided elements that joined the protests due to bandwagon effects.” Igbo Mandate Congress directed its directors and coordinators to embark on publicity enlightenment within their states, zones and councils using determined channels to ensure that hate speeches that alienates the Igbo from their neighbors is discouraged. Leaders and members of Igbo Mandate Congress who monitored the protests in various centers, noted that the protests drew many sympathizers who though did not participate in the rallies, expressed optimism over a successful for Biafran dream. The group received reports that failed corrupt politicians in Igboland were sponsoring the crisis to avoid their acts of economic enslavement of the South East from being exposed. The group also noted that lots of people who joined the protests were not acting because they hated Nigeria and urgently wanted Biafra, rather because the harsh economic realities of the present day nation occasioned by years of corrupt leaderships have left them with no alternatives. The group resolved to put up pressures to ensure the release and reorientation of the misguided protesters. http://dailypost.ng/2015/11/07/igbo-mandate-congress-condemns-radio-biafra-hate-speeches-demands-release-of-ipob-protesters/ |

Duru1:And to make matters worse, your comment has shown the world how unintelligent you are. Do you have to be told the consequence of common sense in the action taken to cut out intermediaries? I know you will come back ranting. I won't answer you. |
The interesting part of this brouhaha is that all these noise makers fuelling the situation are only present on nairaland, facebook, lib etc. It is the jobless ones that are going to take the bullets on the streets. In another dimension, it is a shame to see that people don't learn from past experience. One could only imagine this was how it gradually began back then and it blew into full battlefront. Maybe it would fair to say Ojukwu had the balls being in the army but what happened afterwards, he fled. I now wonder if it is your Kanu or what is his name that will stand and protect your masses when authority finally clamp down on this shameful act. If you think war is about sharing TomTom and gala, think twice. Below are outcomes of misguided call for wall...
