If you date a woman with a child, you must understand that her child will always come first. You loving the child like your own is the best way to show her you love her. Keep doing it and you don't have to worry about asking her anything. Don't ask - the dilemma would be seen as indecision. |

profolaafe:Thank you very much. |
Is the 05 Solara still available? |
I really hate it when Nigerians despise the efforts of medical professionals, when they want to tell their stories. The so-called testimonies are half truths, carefully concocted not to be a lie but leaving out the salient events. You had PCOS. When you have PCOS, ovulation is hampered. So there's no way she could have had a child. What doctors do is when someone with PCOS is ready to have a child, ovulation is induced with a drug, and the couple can have a child. The mere fact that she has twins is a possible pointer to the fact that ovulation was induced by the doctor. Multiple pregnancies that are not genetically gotten are mostly due to induced ovulation during the treatment for PCOS. So madam, we are not saying you shouldn't thank God, but give credit to whom credit is due. It is a doctor that managed your condition and has helped you to have children. There's no benefit denigrating them and acting like they didn't do anything |
Doctors don't give people a timeline to live. That's false. |
What's the point buying a phone that comes with 5000mah with no fast charge?? Your Itel 1516 plus that was already in the market has similar specs and a lot of people complained about the lengthy charge time. There are threads on Nairaland complaining about that problem and you promised an update which never came. Una don hurry launch another problem. I no blame una. Even the person wey sell the itel phone dey use Gionee and Infinix |
folakemigeh:This is true. Very often young girls in their youth ignore this very important symptom. When they get married and children don't come, they run around. Nip it in the bud when you notice it. |
I can give a hundred health signs you cannot ignore. You must not ignore any health sign. There's no requisite sign of ill-health that doesn't deserve medical attention. |
He certainly left his brain at Aso Rock when he packed out. Can someone arrange for it to be returned?? |
dashking:I'm shuddering |
Lol. |
It was not your fault. You did your best |
It's definitely not normal. So go see a doctor. |
You're not married to him, which makes things a lot easier. Do you have a job? You need to find a means to support yourself and your son. Better to walk when you're taking the piss because soon enough, you might take the shite. |
IamLukas:Thank you. How much is it? |
Finally, let me mention that the smartest people that get admission to study medicine usually don't become the smartest in medical school. |
Donpre:I think he deserves a different experience. He's schooled in Akwa Ibom all through his life. It would be fair that he should experience something different. That's just it. Also, I wouldn't want him to go to the same school I attended for obvious reasons. Finally, it's a long standing school and they have a strong alumnus. Connections and recommendations would be a strong suit. Left to me, I wouldn't want the lad to study medicine and definitely not in Nigeria. But it's what he wants, so I can't change that. The least I can do is to help him grow with ease. I assume your question is related to the post I made earlier. The most important thing is to be admitted to study medicine in an accredited school. I trained at University of Uyo Teaching Hospital and I don't think it has made me less of a doctor. My license to practice came from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, not my University. I'm a good doctor, even though I don't fancy clinical practice in Nigeria. My brother is one of the smartest young people I know. He is really good. He is someone who can say he wants to study in UI or ABU or OAU or Illorin and he would have the admission. This is his first and only UTME. There are not a lot of people like that. There's intense competition in those schools for the spots available and only the best sail through. Now, depending on one's ability, there's no positive advantage trying to study medicine in UI when one's credentials are not strong. The best thing is to find an accredited school that would give one an ease of entry. Every other thing else is just addendum. |
neurojosh:That means UI will not make admission decision until candidates get their WASSCE results. Thank you very much |
neurojosh:Please when it's out lemme know. How does jamb do the calculation for those awaiting results? Thanks very much. I can see fire burning on the thread. |
Shekstatari:You're correct. You make yourself a good doctor. The school doesn't really apply much. It's just personal preference, sometimes. The longstanding schools really help with connections and alumni support. This comes in the long run. Whatever it is, just get admitted. |
My brother scored 322 in the UTME 2017. He choose Medicine. He's awaiting his WASSCE Results. He choose University of Uyo because of my parents. I really want him to go to UCH, Ibadan. Now he has agreed with me. Is the change of university/course form out? When would it be out? How much is it usually? Help me guys. |
Test of loyalty? |
That is not happening anytime soon. |
