Travel / Re: What Is The Best And Cheapest State In Nigeria To Start Up Life? by lonamy: 8:45pm On Nov 29, 2017
1realBobby:
Dear nairalanders... I actually want to relocate from my present location right now, I have limited resources ( like 100k) in my account...
please any idea of where I can relocate to in Nigeria that has good security, cost of living at minimum and cheap and affordable houses to rent...
please help a brother out.. I need good suggestions please

My brother, I will advise you to pray about this matter. If you relocate to dry land you will find yourself to be blamed.

There is no place that has good security in Nigeria. A place you think is secured can be extremely dangerous when it comes to ritual killings.

Ibadan may be quiet but what is the level of prosperity compared to Lagos. In terms of security, if you rent a place in a cheap area in Ibadan, you have extremely exposed yourself to petty thieves and classify yourself below expectations, because the kind of people there may not have aspiration beyond their nose. Though, this is not exclusively correct because great footballers and musicians came out of Ajegunle getto, but the opportunity is that they are close to prosperous environment.

I will advise you, prayerfully, move to anywhere in Lagos or Ogun state, where you can get house with that your savings and aspire for the best in life.

Remain blessed.

If your man grabs your butt in the public, he lacks home training and that shows the kind of person you married or wants to marry.

If you still have time, you better change him.

Hello house,
I have been been a nairalander for many years and i just need advice because am so devasted. I got married to my husband 7years ago with 3beautiful kids ,a girl and 2 boys

My husband is that perfect men any woman would ever prayer for.i have never suspected him for once not until last year september that i saw some frequent call from a particular no, i decided to take the no and store on my own phone,,i suspected he was cheating but i did nit have any evidence to prove it.

So last month,i activated an automatic call recording on his phone and here i am, all my doubt were confirmed, i decided not to ask him as i laid down my own plans too, i took his phone and scan his whatapp QR code and i deactivated the notification so he wont know. So with this, i was able to veiw all his chat directly from my phone through this chat i saw that the lady was around at his place yesterday morning and i travelled in the eveningbecause we dont live in the same state due to transfer

i took my children to my sisters place and i travelled, looo and behold this lady was wearing only paint and bra in my husbands room although i gave both of them good dirty slap of thier life, and i told her i have details of his guy and that i was going to call and let him know the kind of girl she is

so now to cut the long story short this lady has a fiance which is planning to wed her because i got to her instagram page and facebook page and i saw that she has a very good guy at her hand thus made me sad because i dont know why she would cheat with my husband even after having a good relationship,

my decision is that am planning to call this guy through facebook call and send him all the recording and whatappbchat between her fiance and my husband

i just want to know if am making the right decision

as for my husband , he will meet me at home

You are not going to help yourself by reporting to her fiancé. If you do that, it might break the relationship and the lady will finally descend on your husband.

Let her marry her husband and ensure you have a close mark on your husband to ensure there is nothing in between him and the lady.

The lady may like your hubby, if the guy is a superman in the bedroom and the other guy she wants to marry doesn't have such ability.

That is my advise.

Bros, please if you really want to sell your man of God to the people in this forum, tell more on his contribution to the community, I mean what project has he embarked on to affect the society. I know a church in that same Ikeja axis where your head quarters is. This church were using a particular government public school to park their cars during services.

The church went to the school and completely refurbished it, they built new class room, roads within the school as in total transformation of the school with scholarships.

I read someone mentioned your Pastor is a great giver, giving to the ministry he owns. Who does the money go back to, is it not back to his pocket and you are saying "Blind men everywhere" You must be a very deeply blind man if you don't see this.

Tell about his good works to the society. The billions of Naira that will not be useful when Jesus comes, why can't you people use it to alleviate others poverty.

I will be expecting your response.

Go and read the bible very well to clear all your doubts.

Chapter (10) sūrat yūnus (Jonah)

Sahih International: So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.

Pickthall: And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers.

Yusuf Ali: If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.

Shakir: But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers.

Muhammad Sarwar: If you (people ) have any doubt about what We have revealed to you (about the Day of Judgment and other matters of belief), ask those who read the Book that was revealed (to the Prophets who lived) before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord. Thus, do not doubt it (in your heart),

Mohsin Khan: So if you (O Muhammad SAW) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you, [i.e. that your name is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] then ask those who are reading the Book [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before you. Verily, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So be not of those who doubt (it).

Arberry: So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters,
Family / Re: She Uses My High Sexual Drive To Her Advantage In Resolving Our Misunderstanding by lonamy: 7:41am On Jan 13, 2017
zaza999:
My wife's attitude is becoming unbearable (not what i can list here)that most time we do have misunderstanding. Agreed that most marriages do have misunderstanding, but there are also some that are devoid of such incessant misunderstanding and are always peaceful and that's what i dream of.

In view of this I have called her severally and talked with her about such an attitude and stubbornness and the need to turn a new leaf, but all to no avail which keep on generating quarrel. This has lead to the point that anytime we had misunderstanding i will stay on my own, and same to her without playing or talking to her, everybody will stay on his or her own and i made up my mind not to have sex with her.

However, no thanks to my high sexual drive that hardly can few days passed that i will break the rule and come back to her and start touching demanding for sex from her. My body has a higher sexual urge, no matter how i control it and she too is so sexy that when i made up my mind not to touch her, after some days, the urge will be too much that even when i leave her in bedroom and went to sleep in another room, I will still come back and fall to her.The urge will be too much that atimes i will be having sleepless night moving up and down to control it, but none.

I intended choosing masturbating instead of making love with her, but on remembering the negative effects of masturbating, i got scared.

She is now using the advantage of my high sexual drive, that no matter how we quarrel and not talking to her, that it wont last long as she is very sure that i cant hold myself but MUST surely come to her for sex, which once done, the misunderstanding automatically resolves itself through the bed.

For me, I don't like it as she doesn't feel remorseful anymore over her attitude.

Please what should i do, or should divorce be the solution?

Bros, many people here have given you the best advice you can stick to.

But I want you to believe you are the problem, it is like you don't know your wife very well. She may be enjoying the fact that you will come to her for sex everytime you have quarrel and that may be what turns her on.

if that is her desire, she will always have quarrel with you to enjoy sex with you.

What I advise you do is to stop quarrelling with her. Be her best friend, put your eyes off her excesses and you will enjoy that sexy woman of yours.

That is my advise.

I think Nigeria better stay as one country and as a bigger Nation with strong economy.

If the Northern Nigeria is broken away, and they are unable to garner strong economy to face insurgency in the region, there is a tendency that they will be over run by Islamic Movement quickly and they will easily flow to the southern states of South West, Biafran Republic and Niger delta.

I think Nigeria is actually playing Big brother role in this region. Should Nigeria as a state fails, all the region will be in trouble.

I know Iran and other Islamic countries are behind funding these groups. Nigeria is there target. Other countries are not a threat to them. If Nigeria falls, with 10 years, all other smaller nations will fall. And the main focus is to take over Nigerian Oil facilities.

I want to urge people clamouring for session to think twice, so that the evil greater than what is expected will not fall on us.

You may have your sovereign state, but you may not live to enjoy the benefit you expected from it. I think it is better we resolve our internal differences internally and amicably, so that we can live to see another day.

Please, if anyone is offended by this write up, I am sincerely very sorry. I think of our future and that of our children. Our decisions today should be of great benefit for tomorrow's generation.

Thank you.

Crime / Re: Nigerian Man Jailed In The UK After Lady Tapes Him Sexually Assaulting Her by lonamy: 10:23pm On Nov 17, 2016
Kolababe:
27 year old Peter Odukoya, a Computer science undergraduate in the UK, has been convicted by a UK court after it heard an audio of a 20 year old woman he sexually assaulted. In the audio which was played in the court by the prosecution, the woman was heard pleading with him as he assaulted her "I don't want this. I'm very drunk".

Odukoya had on the day he attacked the lady, met her at a night out with some of his friends. He offered to give her a lift which she accepted. Odukoya then dropped off his other friends at their homes before heading back to his flat with his victim who was already drunk.
According to express.co.uk, his victim's "instincts kicked in" in the car and she turned on her phone's recording app which recorded her saying "Please, I have a boyfriend. I don't want this. I'm very drunk.”

She managed to push him off and lock herself in his bathroom before ringing a friend to pick her up. The girl later gave the disturbing recordings to police.
Lead Prosecutor, Harry Baker, told the court "She was left humiliated. It affected her grades. She says it completely took her dignity away."

Odukoya's counsel, Andrew Davies told the court that he had been suspended from his computer sciences course after the sex assault. He said his client had brought "shame" to his family in Nigeria, who had saved up to send him to study in the UK. His father has completely disowned him and cut him off from his family, which will affect him for the rest of his life."

Recorder of Cardiff, Judge Eleri Rees QC, told Odukoya: "This girl sat on your settee and without warning you pulled down her trousers and her knickers. She pleaded with you to stop. She was extremely distressed. You have showed no remorse. You said nothing of a sexual nature occurred which was undermined by the recordings. You took advantage of a young woman who was very vulnerable."

Odukoya, a computer science student, of Treforest, Pontypridd, was jailed for year after being found guilty of sexual assault. He will remain on the sex offenders register for 10 years and given a restraining order against his victim for five years.

na mouth you won use wipe them out

My brother, I am sorry for this. I am actually concerned about Nigeria as a whole.
You see, the lopsidedness in national asset distribution and ownership has taken us to this level of decadence and I pity the future of the country.

I really like the countries to go to their different 6 countries which she is actually is, but without shedding a blood.

The issue is that, the Hausa/Fulani do not have forgiving spirit. if what NDA said on this page is carried out, believe you me, even if it takes the North 20 years to plan and strategize, they will revenge with unpredictable brutality.

They may turn the Niger Delta to a complete lake of fire. And everybody will loose.

See Syria for instance, it will never be Syria again.

The level of sophistication of weapons of war are very high these days. if the Niger Delta attack the North they can't go away with it. The Northern Nigeria is highly affiliated with Islamic Nations in the world and these Islamic Nations can supply them every weapon they need to battle finish the entire Niger delta and after the war Islamise the entire Niger Delta and that is what they are waiting for.

Everyone will loose.

The best choice is amicable resolution and equity.

War is not the best way to resolve this problem.

That is my thinking.

Great Nairalanders. You guys are great. Though I learnt programming by doing, I googled a lot to do a lot of powerful things. At times, when I analyse a life problem, someone somewhere had solved it so i pick it and redesign to my need.

I usually have more than enough work to do at work throughout the year, so time has never been enough for me to read by drilling down to the academic sides of what I do. My people, I've done a lot of great things with C# and my works keep my job in my current role.

But I want a change of job and this opportunity came. I need to read deeply to the academic side. You guys have given me a great point to start and I realised that I even know enough that I thought I didn't know.

Thank you guys. Pls let more contribution to this thread come in.
