Okay. The most common causes of that are actually haemorrhoids(piles) and diverticular disease, so try not to get yourself too worried and see your doctor.

A variety of things could cause that. Firstly is the blood mixed with the stool, is the stool tarry black, or is the blood bright red and not really mixed with the stool.
Depending on the other associated symptoms and further investigation , it could be any of the following :
Heamorrhoids (popularly known as pile)
Anal fissures/tears
Diverticular disease
Cancer of the bowel
Inflammatory bowel disease
A bleeding duodenal /stomach ulcer
Polyps
Etc etc
This is not an exhaustive list though as there are many other causes.

Kindly visit your doctor for detailed evaluation and treatment.

Not all piles are painful. I will advise you visit an advanced hospital (General or teaching hospital and not random private hospitals) for further evaluation and possible removal if required /indicated
