Family / Re: I Love Her But At Almost 40 Years Old, I Cannot Ignore Her Fertility Issues. by Lorazepam(f): 2:19am On Nov 28, 2023
Because she has PCOS doesn't mean she won't be able to conceive. It just may be more difficult. PCOS is one of the most treatable causes of infertility. Most women with PCOS will eventually be able to carry and complete a pregnancy although some will need some medical help ranging from interventions like weight loss, ovulation induction meds, other meds, etc. It's good you already have a diagnosis now, that way, you're able to start working on it as soon as you marry, that's if you decide to proceed with the wedding. She's still in her 20s so age is on your side. I suggest you read up more about it to make an informed decision. At the end of the day sha, na your choice.

Oh you wein get job cheesy
Just coping and watching global trends and behaviours of superpowers. The world apoears to be tilting, and seems set to explode some day. Too many areas under tension - US/China/Iran; Iran/Israel; Turkey/Egypt; China/India; China/Australia, China/Japan; North Korea/South Korea; Nigeria/Corruption cheesy The list is endless.
The moniker Lorazepam strikes a foreboding cord in me. Since seeing someone use that moniker, i have been asking myself, something intensely emotional must have led to someone adopting that moniker. For years lorazepam proved to be the drug of hope at night! I can go on, one reason i cannot forget this moniker, even if i shift from NL cheesy
Haha Nigeria and corruption grin grin
Haha I totally get you. I haven't personally used lorazepam or any other benzodiazepine for that matter, but I have seen and appreciate the effects of the drug in those who need it, that's why I chose the moniker

Health / Re: Lagos And Abuja Recovery Rate Is Very Slow by Lorazepam(f): 5:25pm On Jul 08, 2020
Investnow2017:

Lora, sincerely virtually all my pack of investment modules are down currently. I do Mutual, Treasury Bills, Real Estate. For now only real estate comes with an asking, the others have had their returns severely compromised due to our moribund economy, no thanks to the pandemic though. Don't mind my moniker, I am not a major player now, but I used to be cheesy Stocks were in the picture some time ago too until I watched my investment wear off substantially, waiting for a rebound.
I steer clear from anything that has a twinge of Ponzi, though for some it comes with huge gains, but the pains are just as huge too.
I am just watching the space seeing how investment post this Covid-19 will look like. I am being careful not to plunge into any one now because the dust has not really settled by my assessment. But Treasury Bills are a take any time any day once it begins to look good.
The one major investment I do right now is on my spirituality cheesy
Thanks for asking though.
Ah okay
Thanks , much appreciated

Shooyie:

I would have agreed with you if only vardy was booked when he hit Mustafi. Also, Vardy pushed a defender in the 2nd half and it wasn't awarded? He didn't book Iheanacho for his foul on Ceballos? Then don't book anybody! He was a poor ref!
What of the Leicester goal scored by iheanacho that was disallowed for a non existent foul.
Health / Re: 544 New COVID-19 Cases, 203 Discharged And 11 Deaths On July 5 - (1831 Tested) by Lorazepam(f): 12:17am On Jul 06, 2020
150,000 tests as of today, 150,000 tests in five months.

After NCDC was busy making mouth that by end of June they will have tested 2 million Nigerians. They didnt even manage to achieve 10% of their goal. Their latest excuse is that Nigerians are not coming out to be tested when in Lagos, you go call NCDC line tire ehn, reach testing centre sef and them go tell you say them dey manage insufficient kits, that you should come back another day grin cheesy, By the time kit dey available and result come out, person go don recover sef after he might have infected many others.

Let's just try to protect ourselves because this govt doesn't care at all about the citizens.

Religion / Re: Unscriptural Church Songs We Ignorantly Sing. by Lorazepam(f): 7:48am On Jul 04, 2020
butterfly777:
So many songs that I love fall into this category, especially the hymns. But I have to guard my heart and screen the songs I sing.

Sometimes if I am tempted to sing them, I will change the words to the ones that are good and biblical.

Some hymns were actually written by people who were going through or had gone through some very tough life situations, persecutions, quite a number of hymns were written by Christians imprisoned for their beliefs, so when the song writer says something like victory ahead understand why he is saying such.

grin grin

Weary means tired though.

I see nothing wrong in saying victory ahead because it doesn't mean there's no victory currently. I dont even know the song lol so idk.

Thirdly, inasmuch as the bible says God is rich in mercy, his mercy endures forever, etc, it also says he will have mercy on those he chooses to have mercy on and he will have compassion on those he chooses to have compassion on Romans 9 vs 15-16. This is just my opinion though.

I agree with you sha that there are some songs that are not exactly scriptural, songs can be flawed because we as humans are flawed.

Last last this Lagos na just one big slum.
Bad road choke every LGA
In my area theres one major road with a massive gaping hole smack right in the middle , I dont know how much it could possibly cost the LGA to repair the hole , that hole has been there for almost 7 years and it's a major road oo
Meaning all our streets with bad roads will remain like that for the next 15 years or more

Last last all these LGA chairmen and council people are doing absolutely nothing but to chop and get fat anyhow on looted funds, just like their ogas at the top are
doing.

Arsenal doesnt need quality defenders that's why they offered David Luiz new contract grin
They can go also go for other old and approaching end of career defenders like Lovren, Otamendi, Vertonghen, etc so that they can all use arsenal to retire. They can also pick defenders from clubs that are facing relegation like Norwich and co cool
