Hello guys, thanks for your responses and concerns. I replied my employer and stated some of the incidents of ill treatment, bullying and threats I received while working for them. I also told them to go ahead and report me to home office. After a couple of days, they mailed me to return my uniform and other company items in my possession. They also called to ask if I was still in the town or I had left the country. Lol. I laughed in my mind. My successful visa application mail was sent to me already. I took the items to them today. The MD came out in person to receive the items and went back in immediately. As I turned to leave, I said in my mind "good riddance".

I will be resuming work at my new place of work (a care home, no longer domiciliary care) in a couple of days.

Thanks to everyone once again for your suggestions and advice.

I had my biometrics taken on the 21th of February, priority visa processing. I sent a paid mail on the 4th of March and was told my application was still awaiting a decision, sent another mail on the 7th and a decision has been made but my application is still stuck at DMC. Today is the 13th working day and I paid for priority visa processing for crying out loud.
No NSF mail.
@justwise please what else can I do because I am completely loosing my mind.

Are you working with an agent? or you are doing yourself? I wasnt informed about any CAS shield. Chester only sent me genuine intention to study form and CAS request form to fill and send to the international office.

They started a new system called the CAS shield last week. Send a mail to international@chester.ac.uk or applyinternational@chester.ac.k to request for access. You will be able to upload the genuine intention form, bank statement and other documents.

The fact that they started the shield thing last Thursday speaks volume about their next line of action. The shield thing is just an auto system that CAS applicants have their data on already and they can use to interface with school to download n upload necessary docs for eventual issuance of CAS.

You are very right about this. So CAS issuance should start latest this week

Very sure, barring unforeseen circumstances at their end. They are already behind schedule due to large volume of students seeking admission. Going by their initial plan, 1st of April was supposed to be the last day for CAS issuance for the May intake.
Now, that they are done with offers, CAS comes next.
Classes are expected to start early May (2nd)

I think 1st April is the deadline for CAS REQUEST not issuance.

Most courses at the Uni of Chester for May intake are almost gone. In fact, by end of tomorrow 7th, if you are yet to get an offer, you can quickly put in for Sept.

Also, starting from tomorrow, they should start issuing CAS for the above intake

How certain are you about the CAS ISSUANCE starting from tommorow ? This is because they just started the cas shield stuff last week.

Yes you can but if you haven’t gotten your BRP, no one will employ you… The term time starts on your school resumption date, but any date before then, you can work without the restrictions of 20hr/week
