Wolexpoly:I don't envy your whack, nay, slow mentality. Even though I don't hold brief for this guy in question and his ilk in general, yet it smack of idiocy to conclude that any youth - 25 to 35 - who's able to acquire riches without inheriting same, is into one form of crime or the other. Everyone isn't as shallow and small-minded like you and your ilk. At the risk of sounding immodest, I was up and doing at 25 without soiling my hands. Yes, there are multitude of businesses - here I'm not talking about basic buying and selling, even though I see no evil in same - you can do with just little start up capital and within a year or less/more, you'll be swimming on real money. Feasible idea and some good attitude will make you rule the world. |
Good reply from 9ice. Small-minded people should stop mixing up socialites with fraudsters. |
Amechi remains the most sagacious politician of the Igbo extraction. Politics of ideology over sentiment any day anytime. In him I always see a potential president of Nigeria. |
@OP I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear. Believe you me, that your retrogression has no external evil undertones - but the minor problem and its solution lies within you. Foremost, expunge yourself of fear. The dreams you had and narrated have nothing to do with external evil forces rather they were harbingers of the resultant failures that manifested in your waking life. Meanwhile, the cause of the failures were as a result of you not having the best of the services/products you were offering. Solution: choose either to relearn or become updated/informed in your old line of pursuit. Major cause of your problem was conceitedness. |
Nonsense! As far as I'm concerned, the right question is; who will lead better? Tribe and age group - so long as the person has experienced self-realization, is formally educated up to secondary school level, is intelligent, in good health and currently informed - don't matter. Also, such a person must have a prove of success in his life pursuits and not forgetting that he must be of the diplomatic ethical leanings. More so, that person must volitionally show interest to serve the nation. The era of someone saying that he's conscripted into a race should be put a stop to henceforth. |
Somethings didn't add up in this story. Come on! Either legit or otherwise, I don't see any leader that will lead his boys in an operation that fetched them 80,000,000 and he got a misery 1,800,000 from the spoil - not when they're just a 4 persons gang. |
First call your lady friend to order. Make her to understand reason why she should stop abusing the goodwill of the IB guy. She should decide whom to choose between the two guys and stick to her decision. And, of course, make it clear to her that should she fails to act on your humble advise and continue her act of perfidy towards the IB guy, that you will take it upon yourself to tell him. |
@OP I don't envy your parochialism. One's course of study can never bind him to a specific line of profession. This means that there's always an option for an enlightened, not just an exposed, person. Conceitedness remains the major bane of a small-minded person's retrogression in life. |
Without a university degree a sane, sound and intelligent person can do any job, so long as he has flair and understanding of profession of such job. The only minor hindrance the person could encounter, especially in a country like ours, is securing a job and occupying an exalted appointed position in a formal settings. Understanding a particular profession is the most important tool towards becoming a success in such area of endeavour in particular and life to a certain extent. Technically, one doesn't need a university degree to be a professional in any cause of endeavour. |
Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB proponents keep giving me justifiable reasons not to take them serious and support their agitation even when some of the issues they raised are reasonable. I mean, only a ruler/domineering personality would accept this act of shame. The major hallmarks of a leader are humility and honesty, unfortunately he lacked them. He's not a leader but a ruler - a megalomaniac. As for the feeble-minded old fools that knelt before him, shame unto them. There's nothing respectful about their negative action. A people that act like them are always hypocritical. |

This fiction of a story was acted as a movie some 10 years ago or thereabouts. |
@OP Believe you me, I walked through the route of self-enslavement for a people I love such much for approximately a decade. But guess what, it's not the best of lifestyle to adopt. However, I won't advise you to take the route of meanness, no. Kindly embrace and imbibe goodness towards your family. You can volitionally earmark at least 25 percent of your monthly earnings between now and the next 2 years to support them. Then, after the 2 years period, you can review it and bring it down to 10 to 15 percent. |
