meforyou1: Even Japan, who didn't commit up to one-tenth of the war crimes gowon, obasanjo, awolowo and adekunle committed, has apologised for their 2nd world war atrocities. Gowon is just postponing the evil day, because one day he, his children or his grand children must apologise to the igbos for the genocide he committed against us. We are igbos, we never forget. And so we say, never again shall such evil be meted against us without a ten-fold retaliation.Always never ready to learn. And who will apologise for the mass killing of their elder statemen by the Igbo soldiers? Crying wolf when there's none. You threathen a whole country with civil war and you expect its forces to treat you with kid gloves. B4 a man embark on an assignment he calculate the cost, failure to do that, he will be tagged unreasonable. |
This fight can be won if we engage our print media houses. They CPs and other high ranking officers are not ignorant of this attrocities, complaining to them could bring a momentary solution but the bigger attitude of unlawful arrest, extra judicial killing, harassment, intimidation and extortion may remain until we begin to seek the partnership of media houses to start writting articles on some of these neferious activities. I don't know about the willingness of the media, but i believe we can press on them to intervene. |
chukwudi44: Talk is cheap!!! That was how Buhari won the 2011 polls on nairaland only to lose woefully in the main electionChuks, realy love your resilliance, it could be productive if appropriately channelled. Chuks, party aside. On a rational basis, comparing the performance of the incumbent and his deputy with fashola and Tambuwa, who will you go for and why? Who among the two groups has shown dynamism and charisma to be voted? Who has shown promise? Be open minded. |
vivalableue: Who said that I abandoned the kids? Who live in my house, and I feed send to school care for etc. I am an IT professional, sorry but run tings is what is popular with women in your country. I mean all I see on this forum are men complaining about women always wanting cash. I have my own money from my own legal and established consulting firm.God is good and you run your mouth like a rushing tap! Baby, i'm a full grown man incase you think in your little mind that i'm a 'runs' girl like. God is good and you still hasn't fathom the respect of a single motherhood, you go about deceiving married men, collecting their money and you come here making claim you are a professional. Wake up from your day dream and get your ass working for something legitimate. My concerns are those kids with you, hope they see or hear any vices. And who the hell is talking about what babes do here? Huh, after all they are not that shameless to flaunt their sexual life on a public forum. You need to grow up and understand the God you often called. No offence. Still love u baby. |
chukwudi44: we shall see indeed!!! you think the Governors will automatically make one to vote for their parties abi? Dont forgetb that a sitting Governor Fayemi could not even secure victory in even a single local government during the last ekiti elections. APC will lose even in Okorocha's village during the presidential elections.99.9999% igbos will never vote for Buhari.Iam even been magnaminous mentoning 5%.What exactly are you blabbing. Who is talking about Apc. The seriousness of Nigerian politics has gone beyond party to individual credibility and anticedent. Stop taking chloroquin for someone's malaria. Continue to deceive yourself. I know in your mind you are actually gittering over the duo of these young dynamic leaders. Listen and listen good, party, tribal, religious, and regional politics is dead and buried. Performance and not mediocrity is what we yearn for. The earlier you get that the better. Fashola + Tambuwal is a win win situation anytime, any day. If you folks in the SE choose to be backward on your choice of tribal and religious politics, pls don't drag other regions with you. The south west over whemingly will vote Fashala. The North even those currently in the pdp will vote Tambuwa. The young, vibrant Middle belt who desire change for the sake of an inspiring leader like Fashola will vote him. South south will be dicey. So, who care what South East think. If you like, line up all your chickens and goats on the day of the election to vote, you will remain political prostitute. |
NewNigeriaMind: Couldn't have said it better. the days of tribal and religious politics is over. we are voting only candidates with track records and people who have shown they can deliver the goods of democracy.Absolutely. Beside, they so called Christians in leadership cannot be distinguish from the unbelievers through their actions. Only mischievous people come up with that idea to cause further divisions. That idea has over stayed is usefulness. We are in an enlightenment era where good governce, accountability and transparancy is the watch word. Those bent on walking that route especially some misguided people from the SE has shown themselves as enemy of the state. Whatever it takes legally to curb and tame their archaic excessiveness must be done asap. |
This combination is saleable anytime, any day. Young Nigerians had realised the fallacy of tribal and religious politics, except for folks who are still living in denial. With Fashola on board, not just the Sw or the North, but the Middle belt wouldn't think twice to pick him. The erra of ethnic politics is for ever over, thanks to Mr. President and the Igbos for over using it to create disharmony and division. Young dynamic leaders like these duo will do damage. These two will ensure that pdp is sacked from Aso rock for a space of 50yrs. |
CHESSBOARD: How did that I.diot do his investigation that indicts IHEJIRIKA..... Going to BOKO Haram Camp to ask them who is sponsoring them and that fool think they will gladly give him the right Name ..... Its obvious that IHEJIRIKA dealt unforgettable blow to Boko Haram the reason they will keep on mentioning his Name, An IGBO man sponsors Boko Haram to Kill only his Christian BrothersWhat men can do for money has neither religious or ethnic boundary. You are already vexed up but we cannot leave anything to chance at this critical moment. The way the north felt northerners cannot be responsible for setting bombs on their kith and kins is the same opinion you hold over Ihejirika faith, region and no involvement. My concern isn't in the allegation but the over bearing attitude of Igbo folks who would jump at anything with an Igbo name without critical thinking. I'm sure, if other tribes do same, i wonder how illogical all of us will become. |
vivalableue: I like that list!!! Great Job OP!!!! and its seriously for the ladies who really want to settle down in life.Do you really have to bring God into your whoreful sex escapades? You will do well to keep your frustrated and prostituting life to yourself without polluting others. Who is interested in what you do and how it makes u happy? You abandone your kids for some carnal life and you have no self respect but to vent it here. This is Africa and this is allien to us. Disgusting. Shio. |
jennylove7575: how do people soak pillow wet at nightJenny, Just craving for your attention. By the way, i take seriously ladies who make their own money. Would be fun knowing you. What do u think? |
Many of the comments so far clearly display the disgust of tribalism many Igbos are demonstrating here. The investigation was from an independent body who hold no grudges or whatsoever against the former COAS. True or false to the report, his inability to pin El rufai down is a self indictment. Shouldn't that be the line of reasoning? Why the tribal remarks to exonerate him. During the period he presided the army chief was the period the terrorists had a hold of most gov't rpg, apc and other armouries. This is not about accusation but one that demand critical thinking or a review of his leadership days. For those saying he had achieved more, but it is still record that the army killed more innocent civilians than bh did during his tenure. |
BadBoy25: you have nothing to say ,you just want to say something . did I ever say you should not be proud of africa? did I ever ask you to care about what I think? I won't grant you an interview or autograph . I don't get along with people who blame others for their problems .Who are you and who give a hoe about what you think. By the way, who is talking about blaming someone else of our woes? We have our challenges, God willing, we will overcome. I don't need a lost son to remind of all of that. Like i said, if aint proud of who you are and ready to assist, then piss off. |
jennylove7575: Exactly op.....men can't bash me, I bash men..more so I have my own pepper....SingletonHope u don't soak the pillow wet at night? Op nice one at no 6 applicable to both genders. |
EasternLeopard: He was due for retirement and the cry of Arewa leaders made GEJ removed him.If Ihejiriki was 'damn good' as you claim and Fg is serious about sacking the insurgents, the northern elders and their cry would have been immaterial. That's the irony of your post. What you just said made me realised the unwillingness of fg to lay it rest. Like i said, the period that the former COAS presided was the period the terrorists were found with large catche of ammunition. Something to me isn't adding up. |
lordsilver: To the extend that their leaders (Northern Elders) wanted to drag Ihejirika to ICC.They northern elders made that threat after the death of several civilians at Bama(not sure about the exact spelling) village. Civilian casualties caused by NA was steadily on the increase during Ihejiriki tenure. It got to a point that the northern elders couldn't take it longer. The elder were complaining that bh were being routed. In fact, Ihejiriki reign saw the death of more civilians by the army than any other COAS. I'm not privvy to the accomplices of the former army chief, but we can't dismis every rumour or allegation on the ground of sensationalism especially in this trying period. |
EasternLeopard: Ihejirika supplied them and won themI don't know what you mean 'he won'. The boko boys are still on rampage and you claim he won? If Ihejirike was doing any good, his service would have been extended. I am not accusing him of any involvement neither am i absorbing him, just that his tenure saw the bh with many catche. |
Iluvberem: Hahahahah its like you like bear palor too much.At first, i thought you are reasonable until i read the rhetoric you posted. Really pathetic. Who threw the first bomb? Who did the late security chief said was bokoharam? And who said that boko haramites were members of his cabinet? All these and many more point an accusing finger on the ruling party. Trying to link Apc with the surgents equals black mail. |
Obiagelli: Except Ribadu, they saw the handwriting that they were not going to be made candidates or given key position in the party. The APC will not pay people to remain in the party, neither will they offer them posts to stay. Merit & Sacrifice.Your name reminds me of a female mate i long saw back in the village. Nice post and response. We all know what Apc stands for: integrity and fairness. Pdp can go on a wasteful venture to lure Apc candidates, but one thing is certain and that is; the formidability and rigidity of Apc is unshakable. Pdp may have all the money to buy, but they lack the foundation to sustain a working party. Atleast, the emergence of Apc has shown the fragile and falseful material Pdp is made of. Only time shall tell. |
Could it be that Ihejirike was responsible for supplying arms and amunitions and Sherrif was the financier? Cos, Bh began brandishing their newly 'acquired' Apc, ied, Rpg during the reign of the former military boss. It still remain an allegation that must be investigated, hopefuly the truth will be revealed. |
SirShymex: Utter tosh! And what do you call the actions of Hamas who fired into civilian populated area? Who is the terrorist here? The Israeli that used every means possible to warn off the civilians b4 any attack or the evil minded hamas whose sole aim is to level Israel but for the superior defence system? Who is the victor and the vanguish? The hamas that eventually accepted the previous deal they rejected or the Israeli that still maitain its grip and control over the land, sea and air? Who is wailing among the two people? The palastinian land that is filled with debris almost a shadow of itself with a lost of thousands of its people or Israel that remain unscratch with the lost of handful of soldiers and not civilians? You may have to remove prejudice from yours to understand what constitute lost and victory. |
LagosBoi2: So you think palestinians are celebrating the death of the people?, you guys can be funny in reasoning. They are not able to reach a deal for weeks before now because isreal did not consider the demands on hamas, Isreal now agrees to some of their demands and promised to discuss the rest. Usually palestinians get killed without a single isreali soldiers death but it's different this time, a whole 64.A typical bloody arab! So the death of the innocent palastinians means nothing to you over a handful of Isreali soldiers? If the Israeli had indiscriminately launch attacks the way Hamas did, do you think one single stone will be left in palastine? Israelis were human enough to select targeted areas which unfortunately killed some civilians( probably accomplice). Note: the condition for the cease fire doesnot include the sea and land blockade, which means Israel still controls the whole palastinian territory. The agreement reach is to allow the opening of border lines still monitored by Israeli to allow food and other humanitarian materials to come in. |
Orchestrated tribalism, ego, over ambition and self centeredness by the Igbos was the genesis of corruption, tribalism, robbery, regionalism and the love for money that spread to other region. I agree that the North was power hungry and was marginalising other region but a diplomatic and subtle approach could have contained and subdue their excesses. The fall out of the Biafra war amplified the gross vices that wasn't really a threat at that time. We started witnessing all manner of social ills after they Igbos were integrated into Nigeria. This remains contageous up till this present day. |
What Great Zik saw while siting, Ojukwu was unable to see. Wisdom is profitable to direct. A man of wisdom will preserve a city while a proud and haughty king will bring it to ruin. Between Zik and Ojukwu who is the hero? |
Lol. No amount of sugar coating, image laundry or lies can redeemed the battered image that many people hold. And to think some foolish Yoruba muslims who are murdered as chickens by hausa muslims in the north will be voicing support for islam is behind. Several incidents in the norths where hausa muslims unprovokably attacked Christians and non hausa muslims demonstrate the DEMONS(allah) these people profess. Islam is simply a bloody arabic culture inscripted in a book and forcefuly indocrinated to willing souls. Everywhere you turned to, is either muslims are throwing bombs or sliting someone's throat. Since its foundation, it is one gory incidents or another. Everybody can't be a muslim. Why using force and brutality to gain followership. This is 21st century and whatever it takes to contain their excesses like Israel is currently doing is a welcome idea. |
cjrane: [b]A decent discussion has turned to insult. What an attitude! The guy provided a verifiable link that shows the contribution of North to the national coffer and all you have succeeded doing is to haul insults at him. Is either you accept his claim or you counter him with superior argument. This is a mark of inferiority. It remains that the East is the least region that make any appreciable contribution. What exactly can anyone point out to that comes from the east? The farm produce from Ebonyi for instance isn't 1/3 of that of Sokoto state, yet you called the North parasites. Parasites could be termed total dependence on others, but the same can't be said of the north that can feed its populace irrespective of oil. But can the same be said of the East? So who is the real parasite here? |
egift: Don't mind those two (it may even be one thug). They think that once they add "Pervert", "Killer" and "Assassin" people will start fearing them. They are suffering from inferiority complex.Exactly sir. I noticed that, anytime they lack idea to defend their principal, the next line of action is to resort to insults. When you listed those cases that indicted the president, i was actually waiting for a rebuttal but i was shock to realise how unintelligent their responses were, so disappointing for paid agens. I tell you, if these guys are actually paid, then is one hell of a waste. |
PvtParts2: Who is your bro?Hahahahaha. Grow up man. |
PvtParts2: IT IS LATIN. Not Laten.Well, I'm glad you just acted a bit different from your usual self, it shows you are learning really fast. Congratulation bro and don't derail the topic again. All the best and thanks for the correction. |
PvtParts2: You are a dunce! And I will capslock it for emphasis again. Here it is DUNCE!Are you speaking laten or spanish? Because, i can't make anything out of it. I understand your uncontrollable, accustic behaviour is inborn but the moral of my sermon is: While in public such as this, necessity is upon you to show decorum and self respect, it cost nothing. While you are at it, i await reasonable persons with refutable response(s) to op's allegations. This post will surely make a good read. Deraillers pls keep off. |
PvtParts2: educate me you crass ebola infested monkey.Your response is predictable. Beside, what does one expect from a product of a poorly trained over grown child. Keep making noise on empty stomach while those you are supporting are stealing your future. See, i careless about who you stand for, but my concern is your archaic and militant approach to issue that does not side with you. Pls, show you are human and soft pedal on your insult. Gosh, it disgust me. |
PvtParts2: You autistic phucks just keep piling up on this siteYou are obvious classless to engage in any important national discourse. Believe me, you will fare well in the romance section. The post is definitely off the board for your comprehension and level of knowledge hence the tactice of repeating the same vague remarks. You either refute op or remain silent. |

? Its obvious ppl like El rufai have no brain and He also has many brainless followers in Nairaland..... Even an Idiotic Yoruba man mention this in my office as if he does not reason like his follow yorubas, showing their stewpidity here as usual
