Though we've been beaten and bathed from every angle. But our spirit as a nation will never be broken. Nigeria shall be great again. |
EmeeNaka:These are things people will always relate to. How quick of you to outline the various zones in the south but failed to acknowledge the northern zones. You've forgotten there's NE, NW, and NC in the 'north'. Please be organise not agonize. |

Traditional contenders for the Premier League title or top four had managed to secure themselves a new, first-choice centre-back to reinforce their defence. Manchester United moved earlier than most to sign Eric Bailly from Villarreal. John Stones went to Manchester City. Joel Matip finally arrived at Liverpool on a free transfer after having originally agreed to join Jurgen Klopp at Anfield back in January. Arsenal and Chelsea left it late to bring in Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz, respectively. The latter’s return to Stamford Bridge was only confirmed in the final hours of the window after the player himself pushed for Paris Saint-Germain to allow him to rejoin his old club. Prior to his intervention, a breakthrough had looked unlikely for the Blues. Every side can argue to have found the right kind of defender to suit their manager’s system and style of play. Bailly already looks like a natural fit for a Jose Mourinho team, showing aggression, bravery and composure in his regular forays forward to step out and close down any would-be attackers. On the other side of Manchester, Pep Guardiola has already set about refining Stones’ ball-playing abilities into a crucial component of how his new side play out from the back. The England defender’s willingness to stretch his legs and surge up-field has already begun to create headaches for his opposite numbers charged with protecting their own penalty box. With his excellent aerial ability, reading of the game and wiry strength, Matip could be exactly the sort of defender Liverpool and their soft underbelly of a set piece record have been missing in recent years. Mustafi and Luiz are yet to step out in the colours of their new sides this season but both fit the profile of exactly what Arsenal and Chelsea have been missing: the former is a cool-headed organiser to step into the void left by Per Mertesacker while the latter’s skill on the ball, and determination to take responsibility for driving out from the back like an old school sweeper, makes him a solution to Antonio Conte’s selection dilemma in defence. He may not be the perfect alternative to players such as Leonardo Bonucci and Kalidou Koulibaly but he is the best the club could source for their new tactically intense manager in the dug out. Luiz originally joined Chelsea in January 2011 from Benfica, making 143 appearances in all competitions, scoring 12 goals. Yet which of the centre-backs listed above is best? It’s time to get off the fence and judge which side snaffled the superior talent this summer. Given their contrasting strengths, abilities, attributes and the different roles they tend to play for their teams, all five have been broken down into key areas for comparison and consideration – defensive actions, passing ability, one-on-one duels and proneness to errors. www.squawka.com/news/compared-bailly-vs-mustafi-vs-stones-vs-luiz-which-summer-signing-is-the-best/762730 |

That lie Muhammed's own is epic. "The moon has already been sighted tomorrow" haba naso una take reduce the man to a legend? Lolz |
The moon has been technically sighted - Lai Muhammed We've sold your moon - Abubakar Shekau The perpetrators of this heinous crime (missing moon) shall be brought to justice - Nigerian police If we can't find the moon, the moon will find us - PMB We will use technology to fight the moon - GEJ The moon is gone but its manhood lives on - PEJ The moon was discovered from our region - NigerDeltans |
I completely understand your frustration. Do you
think continuing with GEJ would have yielded better results? We
might have to wait another decade for change. On
the flip side, it MIGHT be better in the long run. It was
an easy decision for nigerians to make. So patience is the way forward. |
twentyk:...Nah.. U sound pathetic, a complete one off. |
sexymoma:lolz.. I can relate to that. |
twentyk:Are u trying to be funny? |
...And so religion, to a large extent, became divisive rather than a unifying forces. Instead of bringing about ending of violence and hatred through a realisation of the fundamental oneness of all life, they brought more violence and more hatred more division between people as well as between different religion and even within the same religion. They became ideologies, believe system people identify with and so use them to enhance their false sense of self. Through them, they could make themselves "right" and others "wrong" and thus define their identity through their enemies, the "others" the "nonbelievers" or "wrongbelievers" who no infrequently they saw themselves justified in killing. Man made "God" in his own image. The eternal. The infinite, and unnameable was reduced to a mental idol that you had to believe in and worship "my god" or "our god" ------ And now to your question, Inspite of all the deeds perpetrated in the name of religion, the light to which they point still shines at there core. It still shines, however dimly, through layers upon layers of distortion and misinterpretation. It is unlikely however, that you will be able to perceive it there unless you have atleast already have that glimpses of that truth within yourself. ----- Throughout history, there have always been rare individuals who experienced a shift in consciousness and so realised within themselves that toward which all religion point. To describe the non-conceptual truth, they then use the conceptual framework of their own religion. Through some of those men and women, "schools" or movements developed within all major religions that represented not only rediscovery, but in some cases an intensification of the light of the original teaching. |

On the 23rd of june (less than 72 hours from now) the british will be heading to the polling boots to decide weather or not they should remain in the european economic and political partnership (the european union) which involves 28 nation. Given that the british public are fairly evenly split and haven watched, read and listened to issue by issue argument for and against the brexit (british exit), there views seemed to Be indefatigably tied. So I asked diplomatic minds on this forum would britain be better in or out? Let's discuss! |
That's why I always say, seek to understand before u are understood. |

Most of our leaders (especially the corrupt ones) are so prone to sickness once they been indicted that I wonder sometimes if they are sickle cell anaemia and probably used public funds to treat themselves abroad. So pathetic Disgusting! |
