The Godfather Part II is a 1974 American epic crime film produced and directed by Francis Ford Coppola from the screenplay co-written with Mario Puzo, starring Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Robert De Niro, Talia Shire, Morgana King, John Cazale, Mariana Hill, and Lee Strasberg. It is the second instalment in The Godfather trilogy. The film is both sequel and prequel to The Godfather, presenting parallel dramas: one picks up the 1958 story of Michael Corleone (Pacino), the new Don of the Corleone family, protecting the family business in the aftermath of an attempt on his life; the prequel covers the journey of his father, Vito Corleone (De Niro), from his Sicilian childhood to the founding of his family enterprise in New York City.
Some have deemed it superior to The Godfather. Both Part II and its predecessor remain highly influential films, especially in the gangster genre, and are considered to be among the greatest films of all time. The Godfather Part II is now widely regarded as one of the greatest films in world cinema.

Many believe Pacino's performance in The Godfather Part II is his finest acting work, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was criticized for awarding the Academy Award for Best Actor that year to Art Carney for his role in Harry and Tonto. It is now regarded as one of the greatest performances in film history.
Pacino and De Niro were the best characters. Pacino is a god! They killed it! My best scenes are the assassination of Fredo & the ending scene. If I could rate this sequel a number above 10, I would.

It had some inconsistencies. A movie's success is not determined by the BO revenue. All those people that boosted the movie's revenue could still be hardcore fans.
Endgame was 'meh' for me. I'll pick the Dark Knight over it any day.

Why so? Because he somewhat presents compelling points. Nevertheless, I do clearly see where you're headed. Religion can only be stupid and dangerous to those who are not conversant with the teachings & wordings of their doctrine.

Religion over the years has been used as a tool to perpetuate great evil, but it all boils down to the individual & his understanding of the doctrine of his or her religion. If you understand the doctrine of your religion perfectly, you can never be manipulated by anybody into using it to perpetrate evil. As a result of your understanding of your doctrine, you ask questions when things tend to contravene what you already know & rebuff any of such teachings which tends to go contrary to what you know. Understanding is the key here.

Any critic who criticizes that flick just wants to talk, the movie was fvcking flawless in every ramification. Even if it had plot holes, you wouldn't notice cause of the engrossing screenplay.
