In what seems like the order of the tribunal, all the electoral materials that INEC used in the conduct of Kaduna governorship election has been brought to court.

It is so disheartening to see that INEC would still conduct an unacceptable election in 2023 after the appreciable improvements they showed with the conducts of Edo, Anambra, Ekiti and Osun elections.

In fact, in Edo and Ekiti, the result was so transparent that the candidates who lost the election did not even approach the tribunal.

In Anambra, the candidate of the PDP who came second, saw no need approaching the tribunal as he saw that he truly lost the election through a transparent process. Only the candidate of the APC was expressing overzealousness and possibly hoping to become governor through the backdoor before the Supreme Court quashed his candidacy.

But fast forward to 2023, INEC abandoned these gains and went back to as things were during the analog era when they manipulated results to favour a predetermined outcome which is why there seem to be myriads of litigation all over the country as it regards the election; from House of Assembly, to House of Rep, to Senators, to Governorship and ultimately the presidential election, none was transparent enough that every candidate could agree on its outcome.

The Electoral 2022 was introduced to help bring transparency into our election. It introduced such digital facilities such as the BVAS and IREV and mandated electronic transfer/transmission of votes.

If this had been followed, it would have been like the public scoreboard in football stadium where the goals are written as they are scored and everyone in the stadium can see it. The referee and the match officials will not use the scoreboard to record the outcome of the match because they have their own record, but their own record cannot be different from what was displayed on the scoreboard and seen by everyone.

At the end of the match each side goes home satisfied that at least his team did not score goals and it wasn’t recorded for them; everything was transparent.

Why was transparency easy for INEC in Edo, Anambra, Ekiti and Osun but became difficult in general election?

Why did INEC regress rather than progress?

The rotten system is from the lopsided political structure created by northern soldiers who created 20 new political units in the old northern region but only 17 new units in the two southern regions. From the 20 states political structure in the northern region, the region has excess political advantages and can win presidential election easily or choose a surrogate from the south as president. Inept leaders emerge, be they from PDP or from APC. The rot continues. North asks south to come to the NASS for political restructuring, even though north knows that the NASS is over populated by northern legislators who shall vote down political restructuring. We thought only politicians apply the Machiavellian model but seeing judges who should be the moral conscience of the society becoming Machiavellian in their dealings without caring about perception, principles and morality of their actions is the lowest of lows we can go.

Right now, the only judgment of the court that will be acceptable is the one against Tinubu. Anything else would be “God help Nigeria”.

There is no need to interprete a sentence written in simple English language. The simple sentence is that a president must win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the number of states and Abuja capital territory before declared winner.


Why Abuja? Because the president is also the governor of Abuja federal capital territory. Therefore, to govern a territory successfully, one must be welcome to the territory by a significant number of voters (minimum of 25% required by the constitution) in the territory.

Her reports are general health reports,they are not specific or indepth and particular about any particular server.she herself claimed it is possible that inec had a glitch without AWS knowing and she can only know that if she had access to inec local servers.now,the inec ict director brought incontrovertible evidence of them suffering glitches and network issues on that day which was unchallenged.whether they reported it or not is irrelevant,obi half evidence was rebutted as usual.

As an aside,the 18000 blurred results is of no moment as in one of the copies where prof ofoedu claimed that there was overvoting in degema rivers,the hard copy showed there was no overvoting.obi is back to square one

Well, if the courts have said above, it doesn’t matter the political inclination of a witness (subpoenaed or not) what matters is the veracity of her statements and documents.

Abuja has no governor except the president who administers Abuja. The five area councils of Abuja are recognised by the Constitution as LGAs. Abuja is not recognised by the Constitution as a state but as Federal capital territory. Nigeria's Constitution recognises 36 states in Nigeria, not 37. On administration section of the constitution, the constitution merely said that Abuja should be administered like other states in Nigeria but NEVER mentioned Abuja as a state.

Tinubu did not meet up with the requirements of Nigeria's Constitution to be declared winner of the last presidential election.

The apex court will soon rule on fct status but take it from me that you will be disappointed.obi has lost out

You and I grew up learning about the three arms of government in the course of our secondary education. And I'm pretty certain the oversight functions of each arm of government over the other isn't lost on you.

No matter how you look at it, there can never be any justification as to why the President of the Legislative arm of government should so blatantly display such an uncomfortable measure of loyalty and submission to the executive government.
