The Chicago State University says All Progressives Congress stalwart and presidential hopeful, Bola Tinubu, indeed attended the university.

Beverly Poindexter, who is in charge of official transcript requests, enrolment and degree verification at the Office of the Registrar, CSU, said this in a terse email response to The PUNCH on Tuesday.

“Mr Tinubu did attend our university, however, if further information is needed, go to studentclearinghouse.org website to make a formal request,” Poindexter wrote.

In an earlier letter dated August 20, 1999 and signed by then Registrar, Lois Davis, the university stated that Tinubu was its student between 1977 and 1979.

He wrote, “Please be advised that Bola A. Tinubu did indeed attend Chicago State University from August 1977 through June 1979. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Administration with honours on June 22, 1979. His major was Accounting.”

Also attached to Tinubu’s form CF004 submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission during his re-election bid in 2003 was a commendation letter from CSU recognising his performance and “high scholastic achievement”.

Tinubu’s academic qualification has been a subject of controversy for over a decade.

A recent viral article claimed that all the schools Tinubu claimed to have attended had disowned him.

Human rights lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN), had also questioned Tinubu’s credentials and sued the Nigeria Police Force for failing to investigate him.

The Supreme Court in its judgment on May 10, 2002 ruled that Tinubu could not be prosecuted by the police for alleged certificate forgery.

The apex court also ruled that the Inspector-General of Police could not be compelled by Gani to investigate Tinubu for alleged certificate forgery as he enjoyed immunity at the time

INEC failed to adhere to the Constitution, the Electoral Act and their own Guidelines. This should be punished.

The only reason I called your attention here is because I wanted you to see that INEC guidelines is justiciable in law unlike the narrative that you and Garfield have been pushing; that the court will only look at the constitution and the EA.

See, 2023 presidential election cannot stand, no matter how some of you try to rationalize the criminality that took place that day.

What stopped obi from tendering manual results showing how he won or where they were massive rigging?

The only thing that would have changed the whole case is if Amazon sent their technical team from Amazon HQ in US to present to the court the health status of their server on that election day to show that their server had no glitches on the election day as claimed by INEC.



With that, Appeal court would have canceled the election on the grounds of "INEC not following its own electoral guidelines in conducting the election", which is one of the key reasons for an election to be cancelled under the electoral act.




But since Amazon didn't send an official representative, INEC will hold on to the fact that their result upload and viewing servers had glitches as they already claimed in court, reason they decided not to use the IREV. But then, why did the result of NASS uploaded successfully but Presidential refused to upload even though the elections were conducted same day, same time?



The answer is, INEC have a backend server that collates the election results from polling units as they are being uploaded from polling units nationwide, and this server shows the result as a graph, showing leading candidates and the margins. So as Yakubu and his ecil cohorts who have been compromised by Tinubu saw that the outcome of the results coming in wasn't favouring Tinubu, they quickly turned off the result upload feature for Presidential election results and started their own abracadabra

I doubt he will have gone up because the only SE Supreme Court Judge is from the same State.

He was part of the 5-man tribunal (alongside Uwani Abba Aji, Ogebe and others) that affirmed Yar'Adua as President.

He was also on the Amina Augie-led panel alongside Mukhtar (deceased), Owoade (now Rtd), Agube (now Rtd), that affirmed Obi's re-election as Anambra State Gov.

With nwaoboshi acquittance,oba will likely escape at apex court.

Even a layman knows that when dispute arises between the constitution, an Act of the National Assembly and any bye laws, that the Constitution takes precedence followed by the Act of the National Assembly.

But I have not seen, or refuse to believe that any of INEC’s Guidelines runs contrary to the provisions of the Electoral Act nor the Constitution.

There’s nothing contradicting the Constitution or the EA about results upload which INEC failed to do.

Again, you can see the Supreme Court making reference to, in dispute, comparing the physical result of form EC8A to the Electronically Transmitted or Transferred Results (those were their words).

Now, with about 18,088 blurred results sheet, plus some thousands others yet to be uploaded, what did INEC compare forms EC8As with at lower level collation centers when dispute arose?

The documents were obtained from the university under subpoena.

What the documents say is
1. Bola A. Tinubu that attended CSU is a female.
2. She was born in 1954 not 1952
3. That the certificate fake Tinubu submitted was not from the school but from a fake website.

That is the certificate tinubu tendered to inec and the one brought from CSU.show me where gender is stated,show me where date if birth is shown...

Justice Mohammed further noted that all the witnesses were in agreement that when the original document is photocopied with an A4-sized paper, some information would be cut off.


He said the evidence of witnesses Obaseki produced in the course of the hearing, especially that of the Deputy Registrar Legal, at University of Ibadan, Abayomi Samuel Ajayi, “Successfully put to rest the issue of whether or not the embattled governor graduated or was awarded a degree certificate by the school.

From that portion of the judgment,jsc agim clearly said the guidelines never demanded for real time transmission but transmission after election without specific time frame.the guideline further stated during collation, transmitted and manual copies must be used for collation in case of discrepancies.obi never brought evidence showing transmitted copies were not used during collation and he also called only one adhoc staffs.therefore,this portion of his prayer fails
