bigheart2013: Thanks and God bless you for addressing my questions. I want to keep helping but asked the questions to know how to avoid the pitfall of others. I have a little 26yrs old sister. After the death of our mom, being the last born and only girl, she became the queen of the family. I saw her through university in Nigeria. She's in Canada now doing her masters at almost $36,000 USD. Being the oldest son I sold one house, and going through 'hell' now to pay her tuition in Canada. I just don't want to ever think she will be ungrateful to me one day after this. I haven't even married because of carrying the burden of others. Maybe my expectations from them is high. I just don't want to regret all this one day. This is why I'm asking experienced people for guide. I got some points already. God bless you all.

Of what use is Igbo Presidency with the type of structure the country is operating. The same factor that made Azikiwe, first governor general and civillian President of Nigeria and Ironsi first head of state(both Igbo)-not to wield real powers.

For me Jonathan remains an Easterner and he is pursuing the real policies for the benefit of Ndigbo and other Nigerians. We will keep supporting him.

BTW what is the dominant cultural identity of PH and Asaba? I don't think you ever been to both.

If the price of the car is so exorbitant, the House of Reps/FG can always have the right to seize or place an embargo on usage of the cars, and auction it.
Ibori's case is so so different, because he stole such huge amount of money and put all into his account. Stella didn't put the money in her account. She bought the cars and gave proper account of it.
If Stella was accused of extravagance, I will understand but been accused of theft, its not just proper.[/color]

Not very much, its barely holding water as an authority site from Nigeria on any of the search engines. As simple search for naira or Nigeria or Suen Osewa would barely show Nairaland.com on the top 10.

Thats really bad in these cases.

For a site to have real value it needs social value and nairaland has very little of that; most searches that pop up with Nairaladnd as part of the results have little or no answers to the questions neither do they point you in the right direction to find answers.

Most of the threads get sh#t on - piss#d on and everything in btw. Serious issue's are ignored - thereby neglecting true social value and traffic.

As alot of things - including the Nigerian's who used to post and engage discussion's. Most of them just browse through the threads - listening to the chatter but have no real motivation to contribute.

Their also this big issue of Nairaland's frequent "504" error - you know that white background with black text that say gateway timeout. It happen's too often .. and he's running an old version of Nginx. (this is a just a technical aspect).

But - i would still offer a cool N5million for Nairaland. Flip for $1 - 1.5 in 3 years.

After dumping 3 - 5m (naira) into it.
