I know this isn't the right section. But I don't know the right one and so I opted to post here since it seems to have a lot of traffic.

Yesterday, I returned to my room to find a rat dead in the middle of it. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be bothered. But this rat has clearly been bitten (pictures will be displayed below). I called a neighbour and we examined it. We were arguing if a snake could have done it, and if yes, why it didn't swallow it. In any case, we decided to leave it where it was to see if whatever killed it would return for it. I went to sleep at a friend's.

We returned this morning to find the dead rat gone. So, I called others to join me and we ransacked every nook and cranny of the room. We couldn't find anything threatening. But we did find another rat killed in much the same manner as the first (second picture).

It irks that I can't find what did this. I can't sleep in the room as it is. So please, experts in the house, help me to identify what it could be and what can be done.

There's this feeling I get when i think about eating a chicken that died from one cause or the other. This also applies to goats and other animals.

I have seen some hurriedly slaughter a ram or goat that is about dying, probably from an accident.

So, yesterday, I saw some people rushing chicken.

I asked how much it cost, and they said, just 1k!

as in, 1K for a full grown chicken?




so i enquired more, and found that those chicken were dead, that's why they are sold so cheap.

This is disgusting to me. Does it mean some of those barbecue sellers grill dead meat for us? Hope suya isn't made from dead meat?




Apart from the disgusting feeling, is there any logical or scientifically backed reason why dead meat should be avoided?

What are the side effects of consuming dead meat?

you never can tell, it could be a simple fix and i might not need taking it to an engineer.

My windows 10 Gets stuck on start up screen. It won't move to the next screen to input password.

Also, as i try troubleshooting, the safe mode makes my laptop shut down automatically.

Please my laptop won't show login page.
it comes on normally but stuck on the wallpaper page.
i tried safe mode, but it blinks and laptop shuts down automatically.
what shnuld i do please

Firstly, my laptop got stuck on wallpaper screen.

when i click any botton to show password screen, it just shows blurred wallpaper but no login password screen.

after a while it goes back to the wallpaper.

I tried advanced recovery mode, but immeditely i enter safe mode, the screen blinks for a few seconds, the laptop makes heavy sound as if i opened a heavy software, then it shuts down automatically.

please help!

I have heard severally that bitter kola chase snakes away.

My questuins are,

how true?
Does it chase all types of snake or some particular types?
Is it the smell or sight of the bitter kola that chases them?
What is the science behind this?
Who has had first hand experince with this?
What radious does the bitter kola cover, that is how far will it be from the snamke before hvaing effect, 5 meters, 11 meters, 2 meters?

If possible, someone should make an experiment and video it please.
