Now Mr. ABD, let me remind you of the near mess Chelsea nearly found themselves in when Ken Bates was forced to buy the club, if you are here feeling smug that "True" Chelsea fans are not worried about your financial situation, then i think Akola should send you a subscription to CHELSA TV, so you can watch and see your fans discussing on Neil Barnett's show about how all this RA money will affect the club if he decides to leave, or if something happens to him (you ask if i am planning to kill him!!! hmmm can i get back to you on that later, as i have to think if i could muster the resources to carry out that hit )

When we talk of English clubs with history KOLA , chelsea doesn't even come close , this has nothing to do with sentiments, I won't stand here and argue about the Nigerian league with anyone, cause honestly i really don't know that much about it to make a clear arguement, same can be said of the Serie A and Bundesleague, but as for the EPL and to a little extent La liga, well i should feel i know a bit (not everything, but enough) to comment without bias. Kola even in London, Chelsea and Arsenal are way behind Spurs in terms of Fan base and popularity and HISTORY, that is not even an arguement, so what history are you trying to pass off here.

That was what the Rianeri/Maureen era was meant to hearald with Chelsea dominating Club football, but like i said, when you sow some bad fruits, then later complain of a bad tummy ache, you only have yourself to blame, it is obvious that these little issues with maureen and the board is exposing a very deep issue with the club, which if maureen leaves might be exposed, Those in footie circles know of this, but like at the early stages of the Iraq war in America, talking against the administration was seen as amounting to treason.

That is not the point, Listen LEEDS had a bloody history, but that didn't stop them from going down the way they did, when just 2 seasons before that, they had the best young squad of players, and were going places in the UEFA CL under O'leary.

As much as you quote all the trophies Chelsea have in their cabinet, it still doesn't make this thing any sweeter. Why do you think Manscum supporters were against the Glazers taking over their club, Because they know, sooner than later, the Board and owner will soon start dictating tactics to the Coach. Like i said, we really have no idea, the kind of pressure these managers are under, thats why, even when i get pissed off with Wenger (and i do alot), i calm myself down and try and look at situations from his own perspective, and give him the avenue to make mistakes as he is human.

Fergie might have scored a Master stroke by getting Larsson on loan, but 1 game doesn't prove if it was a right decision, Does he have the money he needs to get Owen H from Bayern , i think not. So you can understand Jose's frustrations, when he has to give lightweights like Sheva playing time, (only because Sheva has a tie to RA, and that is a fact) whereas a player he is willing to put out his neck for; "Drogba", is delivering the goods, but doesn't get what he deserves (and the board were even ready to sell him, if Maureen did not put his feet down) That is why i believe Maureen will never forgive Peter Kenyon for letting Gallas go in exchange for A Cole, now the same Board (PK included) sre shafting him

Anyway, i wouldn't really read much into it, Maureen thrives on pressure, its just that RA doesn't like the idea that he is just expected to throw cash about, without any justification (after all Chelsea FC is a club being run at a loss, yet can still afford to pay players those outrageous wages , even if they sit on the bench)

If Maureen delivers a trophy, the heat will ease up, however, RA is only interested in the UEFA CL, the PREM would be a bonus, FA and Carling don't really mean sh"t to him, so that means Maureen has to deliver. And deliver fast.

But here is the irony, Maureen never wanted players like Ballack, Sheva and to a large extent A Cole, They were forced on him, especially Sheva, Now he wants to get the players he really needs, the same guys that pulled the screws in getting Sheva, are screwing him over, as if he does not know what to do with money .

As much as Arsenal have their own problems in regards to money, this is one luxury that Wenger enjoys, which Maureen and fergie lack (although following recent trends of club take overs, the situation at Arsenal might soon change) Wenger really has a hold on the Arsenal board with a grip that most other Prem managers will only have in their dreams, case in point, Pardrew at Foreign owned West Ham, Benitez's dilenma, due to the board wanting to impress their Asian potential buyers, Fergie's early issues with the Glazer family, that nearly made him hang up hiis coat, Rangers in Scotland and their issues with their Russian owner, the list goes on and on.

Generally i believe this puts a terrible strain on footie managers, to deliver the near impossible. However in Chelsea's case, it seems the "chickens are coming home to roost" as they are only reaping from the Financial mess they have sown, Now the Russian is gradually showing his true colours, and apart from Maureen, who i feel can handle/take care of himself, i fear for any new manager of the club after Jose decides to leave, when ever he decides to leave ( and make no mistakes about that!! Jose will leave when he wants to, and not a scenario that the Board will force him out, that much i can vouch for!!)

Keep your heads up blues!! Its a general trend that i feel is going to eventually ruin football (ALONG WITH BskyB's monopoly on Games). And no club is fully immuned (like i said early, even my beloved club Arsenal might soon be taken over, to cover their debts and other stuff!! So any joy Gooners have at being solely English owned, might soon evaporate )

We play Sparky's team on Sat, and we should be wary, as that is another team that has revenge (this word is becoming common nowadays ) on their mind, following their 6-2 mauling at our hands, should be a tight hard fought game, if we play like we played against the Pool on Sat in the FA then we should beat them ok, what we shouldn't do is concide the first gaol That would just be hilarious, 4-5-1 will be what Wenger will adopt (who wants to Bet)

Will Billy "the Kid" Gallas get a run out , will Wenger change his mind and use Lauren, will Ade be back (Kit the rejected stones are now becoming the corner stones oh!!) Will Jackal ever be released from PURGATORY All these and more will be answered on Sat, well apart from the Jackal one

Firstly, yeah we won the game, but there were still enough things to be worried about with our performance, as the match reports go, what we won were the key battles/moments and luck went our way with 2 key incidents Alonso's pen and the other Pen that Henry could have cause.

Secondly, Eboue is a disgrace , and as much as i am an african and would support any of our brothers plying their trade outsides our shores, Eboue's antics are nothing short of He cost us that goal because of his rubbish, Why does he chose to cheat, it was so obvious that he wasn't injured, I am sure Wenger will be pissed off at him, did you see the way Gary Lewin dragged him off, as they brought on J Hoyte. The boy is becoming a bloody disgrace, and Lauren couldn't come back any sooner. If he continues like this, believe me Wenger will sell him[b][/b]

Next issue! We got Fat sam and the retirement home team in the next round (alway have to do things the hard way ) But the only up side to that is that at least we are at home, and if we can't beat them at home and beat them well, then i can't honestly see where we will ever beat them (a draw does us no good, cause that means we will then have to play a return fixture at the Reebok, and as we all know "that ain't good news" can we all say "De ja vu!! The Pool again tomorrow Hmm!! well the onus is on Rafa, does he play a full strenght squad in other to get revenge, and risk injuries for saturday (well what i do know is that Craig bellamy should play) or those he go for reserve players (do the Pool have a reserve team ) oh well, some of our first 11 should feature, with guys like Bap and theo also amking the frame. Will Fab get a run out , i hope so, and i hope Ade plays as well . all and all if we are tight, we could nick it, as they will come for us with all they've got, (which wasn't good on saturday )

Heard we might be selling Freddie!? Hmmm still have no opinion on that one, but guess he had to leave sometime as he is getting old and might not get the games he requires, but i still think we should let him see through his contract and leave on his own, he deserves that much.

I have asked this before, and i ask again, Why keep a player like Aliadiere and then want to let someone like Lupoli go (someone that scores hattricks and has proven himself even in the reserves ) That will never sieze to amase me.

The fact is that they didn't lose in the PREM!! Why you all keep saying the season, i will never know.

I might agree with you on the Fit as a Fiddle stuff, as fitness really only is part of why a team lose a game, Over confidence, and lack of concentration are others; A la the West ham games, both for United and Arsenal

Anyway lets not take anything from the scummies, they are doing their part and its up to everyone else to "Walk the Talk".

I still feel Chelski will carry the day though , Games on the 20th/21st will determine a lot; as in Chelsea v Pool and Manscum v Arsenal. Those games should be crackers, as every team has almost reached peak form (well apart from the Russians that is , but playing the Pool is enough motivation the blues need to go to Battle ready mode)

I have been an Arsenal supporter for the past 17 years, and in that time, i haven't realygrumbled alot over decisions made by the gaffers, either , Bruce Rioch, or even Le Prof.

Le Prof has been and will always be a Manager/coach that i will ever be proud of that was at the helm of my club. However for the past 2 seasons he has been making some decisions that just baffle belief . Generally every arsenal fan believes "Arsene knows!!" Its been a mantra we have all used to justify most of his erratic decisions (many atimes he has proved us wrong however as optimistic as i want to be, i have to admit that i do not know any more; Does Arsene really Know!?

1, His team selections have been baffling to say the least, with his insistance of either playing people that don't cut it; A Song, J Aliadiere, e.t.c (at least Cygan was able to do something of note before he left)

2, His stupid policy of "1 year over 30", which have cost us good players like Pires.

3, His decision to not only not want to buy in the transfer window, but selling someone that was asked to prove himself while on loan, which he did, yet he keeps a player who did F@#K all when he was on loan at 4 different clubs (J Aliadiere)

Why in heavens name would we want to keep A Song , and then sell the young ones that are proving themselves Why keep a player that is doing nothing (Bptista) and then sell players that show much more desire, whereas all they need is a sign from the gaffer that they have a place in the squad.

I will always support my club, but i am gradually losing faith in the Gaffer, even if we do win stuff before he goes, he is slowly losing the supporters who really have no idea of what he is doing,

Will we ever buy someone in the class of Torres, will Ribery ever put on an Arsenal jersey. We bought Gallas as the same time as Cole, How many times has Gallas played (yes i know he is injured, that is not the point )

Look at the Sheff Match, NO INSTRUCTIONS CAME FROM THE BENCH I mean for the latter part of the match,they had a midfielder as the keeper, F@#K ME!! A FLIPPING MIDFIELDER!! Yet we couldn't score (but we score 6 against a bloody good keeper in Brad friedel. I really do not understand (why doesn't Pat Rice just shout at the Mna once in a while, at least Carlos Quieros actually influences Sir Alex sometimes in the tactics the Scum utilise)

Every Arsenal sports blog is awash with amasement on our inability to understand what Wenger is doing (what goes on in his head when he is making some decisions) But i guess he is the one being paid to do the job, our jobs as supporters is just to do that "Support the club!!"

A, Why does Clichy keep giving pull outs to nobody in particular, can't he see that there is no one in the box anytime he chooses to cross the ball? Maybe he needs to wear glasses like Edgar Davids.
B, Whats up with this Thierry "I LOVE ALL MY TEAM MATES" Henry? Was i the only one that felt, age is catching up on him, and his reactions are a tad slower.

But i honestly feel we can take them, and take them well, only if we play the first 11.

But i won't hold my breathe, knowing the Prof, i won't be surprised to see A Stokesky on the field.
