A lot of us contributed to Beegs because we believed in him and wanted a fellow Nigerian regardless of our political differences wanted him and his brand to succeed FINANCIALLY a concept alien to your thinking . We hated the fact that someone would come along , copy his method , while he self destroyed something he built from scratch for five years. One thing is obvious if you are not spewing negative venom you really have nothing to contribute. Grow up and be a man and stop looking for fights where there is none. |

rugged7:OGA rugged7 In the past we have clashed and normally even when we have had our differences unless I believe you crossed the line i have let peace reign. i am well known to you and BEEGS and hand on bible a lot of us fed BEEGS a lot of information, some of it was putting the careers of officers who were or are now Generals in jeopardy. Occasionally he would have the temper tantrum because he was not invited to go on a tour to the N.E. by the Military specifically by the N.A. He would abandon his blog for months on end , people like Henry, myself would go behind the scenes and constantly literally beg him. We advised / begged him that he was sitting on a goldmine , he was the first at this real Military blog business. He had a sterling reputation and a brand name" BEEGS" BEEGEAGLE" . Pepole voluntered to give him money at the time i eventually offered him between five and six figures others including Henry offered him a lot of Money, His brand was solid, this was the time to do it, Then he went on another tantrum: And he found Twitter: And he broke his own rules: be the moderator and leave politics out of it. By now he should of been a Billionaire by Nigerian Standards and a Multi Millionaire by Western standards instead he was upstaged by a girl who puts headless torsos on the news and gets paid money both in dollars and Naira to show the latest butt implants of the Kardashian Family it is a shame no one HATES BEEGS including myself or Henry and the rest of us that fed him first class information. H e has now reduced himself to writing a book about past Military leaders Goodluck to him and I hope it sells , and he makes a decent profit but that is not / his true calling. 10 Likes |

He is credited with purchasing the F7s despite the advice of his Airforce Generals who vehemently advocated for the Mig 29. *No new Naval procurement contracts were undertaken during his regime. *His administration also remains the only administration to be openly rebuked by the UN for not buying APCs for their Peacekeeping Troops. Post GEJ and PMB political differences aside and despite the debacles of BH. *Critically GEJ/ PMB started the push to increase the size of the Armed Forces. to reform the Army From 4 Divisions to 6 and Now 8 Navy: from two central commands to three. Under GEJ the Navy actually built Boats . Obj only refurbished Old vessels. Obj was a disaster for the Military. Not a fan of GEJ but he inherited a lot of problems from both Yaradua and Obasanjo. Credit must be given where it is due. The Navy turnaround belongs to GEJ The debacle that befell the NAF started way before GEJ got there it then manifested itself during two key incidents. Yes tiny Jordan can donate vehicles to Nigeria because: They get a shit load of hassle free equipment from the U.S. They also since the Gulf War 1 and 2 to turn against the Shia leaning Iraqi and Iranian Government get a Ton of equipment from the House of Saud.. Adminisher:Nigeria has in the past purchased the Naval Version of the Lynx. IMHO.The Nigerians are asking for the Army's version of the Lynx to serve as an attack Helicopter. France has a over a $1B of investments in Nigeria , the Oil Find by Total in the 2000s was one of the largest in the World. France's investments in Nigeria dwarf those of it's former colonies. France this year has pledged another $1B as in direct FDI to Nigeria. France is currently building 3 x Naval Warships and 3 Naval Helicopters for Nigeria. Enough said. 2 Likes |

Do it the right way: you get the right equipment Do it the wrong way : well you get what you get. |
