even the supply of fertilizer in farming officially shouldnt be too hard but when you start off you will realize that card carrying party members get first priority.for a diasporean trying to start a business if you dont want to lose your money it ll augur well for you not only to be on ground but to properly research into what you r looking to venture into especially the negatives,dangers..dont make the mistake of thinking biz runs smoothly in nigeria as the uk and usa..i am speaking from experience as a diasporean |
the various business ideas are ok but there isnt much depht to them and they are not really as simple as you have theorised/outlined..the ppp ideas have a lot involved in sucessfully running in nigeria than just a business plan and a little bit of cash. there is nothing stopping a landlord/lady driving you out of her property once you start making money contract or no contract. hidden costs like bribes to the people that matter in the area, local govt staffs e.t.c the only way to break even is if you were running a small biz side by side, with the motor parks if you are not afiliated to or know a prominent motor park chairman i advise you strongly not to venture into that area if you love your health and well being |
like someone has said it is illegal and you probably wont find any legitimate western buyers for it . for you to sell it for good money you need to look for chinese buyers and depending on the size you could get from 1,000 dollars to the massive ones that the chinese ll pay tens of thousands of dollars for |
as usual the classic divide and rule tactics mastered by the colonialists and still being used to divide stupid ignorant africans!! the fact that anyone will celebrate this and somehow castigate prof ayyitey as if he is the cause of ghana's problem baffles me no end. the man has told us the hard, bitter truth lets stop dancing around issues and chasing shadows and face our issues.. the ghana that you are posting rubbish articles about is one of the places nigerians are running to,it has gotten to the stage where they have imposed border line draconian economic hurdles aimed at discouraging foreigners especially nigerians but our people have refused to leave.same for their universities and other higher institutions call your leaders to order and leave the prof alone! |
i am still at a loss why you have single buhari out.there are many military and civillian leaders for that matter who are still alive today who played decisive roles in the way nigeria has turned out today. irrespective of whatever negative role ascribed to buhari, its still on record that during his and idiagbon's regime corruption which is the cancer ravaging nigeria and africa was stiffled to a minimum by their zero tolerance. indiscipline with the wai including other forward looking policies was promulgated and we all know the country would have been transformed had they been given a chance to rule for longer |
Guitarlife: Why do you keep doing this. The issue at hand is glaring the question being what is God's stand for a cheatin spouse and I did say it's forgiveness but then should we abound in sin and pray that grace may abound.and my stance on that particular issue is that because the grace of GOD is all abounding he is willing to forgive a cheating wife or husband still.. that is how unique GOD is and one of the reasons he is different from an human being.i can avail you of bible verses if you want. what exactly is your point on apostasy because it has nothing to do with forgiveness.. any sin whatsoever can be forgiven as long as the individual is of a contrite heart and willing to start on a clean slate with GOD.. |
lumeneng22: What did you expect from a muslim turn christain? We are not suprise, a pastor that call our president oloriburuku and all sorts of name when they SNG were sponsor to rally against govt good jesture by oil subsidy thieves @ freedom park in lagos. I pity his followers.do you know how ignorant and backward this comment is? are you saying a christian or a muslim is reflective of one's intellect or the fact that he was courageaous enough to march with the masses in the face of injustice is somehow wrong? if him calling the president names is your problem then you should go read some of the teaparty's comment on obama.im sure someone of your mind set would have expected obama to send them to a maximum prison i dont know you but i am pretty sure you will be affected more than tunde bakare if there is a hike in the price of fuel so what exactly is your point?? |
as long as there are nigerians who are willing to condone and even applaud goodluck jonathan or even a worse president the inhabitants might continue to wallow in poverty and under developement untill we remove our heads from the sand |
Super1759: Who made this man pastor self..instead of him praying for one nigeria he is scattering us.nawa oohow exactly is he doing that, are you part of the ones aiming to bancrupt nigeria? |
one thing i have refrained from doing ever since the mistake called goodluck jonathan is to applaud any new entrant into govt prematuredly.the man has only made a goodwill gesture of sorts towards nigerians by the visit hence i ll be a little cautious and judge him by performance right now im still sceptical |
Guitarlife: I get it now, you expect God to bend his rule's right? It will be a cold day in hell for that to happen believe me.well, in case you have not read your bible properly he did say that we are not judged by the old testament old things have passed away and behold all things have become new, besides the whole point of him dying for us apart from the cleansing of our sins?.the bible says he is the GOD of love and he will never judge us by our infirmities we are perpetually under his umbrella of grace i.e his grace is sufficient for us unless you are saying you r the exception who is sinless, perfect and would prefer to be strictly judged based on that standard |
Guitarlife: obviously you missed the point. I doubt you have evn read my original post up there as I type this but never mind I will repost it for you.ok i get it maybe your approach was a little bit abrasive hence my retort. having said that, you have to consider the fact that if we were to follow biblical injunctions literally i.e both old and new testament then we would be removing an eye for an eye,GOD will be smiting unbelievers dead e.t.c the bible did not mention cigarette or marijuanna but we are in the age of reasoning so we know its bad for us HENCE DESIST FROM IT ...situations that were not obtained in the biblical days of yore are now obtained hence the reason some actions can be justified not because its our right as christians but under the grace of GOD. |
Guitarlife: is it that you didn't read my post up there or you couldn't comprehend it or you just love peddling fake information.what r you on about, that you can authoritatevely say what caused the breakdown of the marriage or there are other justifyable reasons other than adultery? |
heart wrending while the idiot jonathan is busy destroying the country nigerians are dying of preventable deseases.i have always said it in the past that waiting for the govt to do anything is a waste of time i really wish GOD will give me the grace to be like this man if we all had same attitude towards pertinent issues like health, child poverty women's right free and fair election corruption things will be much different |
gulfer: It is possible to live with a kidney, but without both; I seriously doubt.is that all you gained from the story?? smh |
if the woman has not committed adultery, then there is absolutely no other reason for a pastor who is like a moral compass to hundreds of thousands of worshippers to divorce his wife.not only should they have tried everything else including a trial seperation before divorce, they should have both announced the divorce together. people started judging pastors the moment they began to place themselves on a non human, almost god like pedestal of sinless ness |
werepeLeri: You are d aft. No sign of remorse? You want him to come to you crying because you are the one who married for him? Were you at his church when he made the announcement?the poster is right he didnt deliver the news with the seriousness it deserves.tersely making such a weighty announcement casually at the end of the church service doesnt show much seriousness besides the fact that one didnt marry them doesnt preclude from commenting on it,pastor chris is on a moral highground having preached forgiveness, love and tolerance to xtians |
stagger: Check your mail.ok will do thanks |
blocker:in other words we now have a ninja pastor ![]() generally speaking i believe there are no grey areas when it comes to christianity.if you are not serving GOD or running the church the way jesus christ and his disciples ran it then you are not being sincere in your religious convictions irrespective of how big your congregation is |
stagger: Would help if you drop your email. I may have to ask some questions whose answers should not be for open consumption.hello my email is tulampa1@yahoo.com thanks |
i ll need your services in a couple of months when im in naij could you drop your email and other contact details |
your best bet is to approach your bankers first,i would have thought running a business of that size you would have some sort of relationship with a bank who i guess would be happy to lend for that purpose |
stagger: Your email is not working.hi mr stagger i am a regular on here but i only stumbled on this a couple of days ago.i really need your help and advice my dad used to run a properly licensed filling station but he got tired of it and stopped running it about 5 years ago as there was no one to help him do the running around and the manager was ripping him off big time. can i still use his lincense to operate the kerosene and other fuel distribution business? what are the profit margin if i were to start with the 11,000 ltr one you outlined earlier on because i dont know anything about the biz. i ll appreciate any advice you can shed on this thanks i understand you are taking payments for the manual and stuffs that ll be ok with me as well although i dont live in nig presently but moving back in 2 months |
pls stop talking like an ill bred illiterate |
@inspired_m pls what is your email i have 2 vehicles arriving in lagos in a couple of weeks time which i am looking to sell.a toyota sequonta 2003 suv and a nissan ultima |
couldn't resist adding a lil incident some jewelries and money was missing in my dad and one of my step mum's room so while trying to get to the buttom of it they got the driver and some people to search everyone's rooms including one house boy that was there.while going through the guy's stuffs they found condom and like intimacy gadgets so you can imagine my dad who is like proper conservative and old school looking bewildered, same as the mums my dad's driver and the rest of us stifling a laugh and the driver explaining what this was to my dad. he kept on repeating that vib ke,condon?and was laughing so hard that at that point he just turned around and went back to his side of the house forgetting about the whole incident |
the united kingdom as advanced as they are still use trains that are more than 20/30 yrs old, anyone who frequents the sussex route from victoria to east croydon towards brighton will be familiar with these old trains same goes for several routes all the way to scotland, wales e.t.c purchasing used trains shouldn't even be an issue as long as they are running smoothly and can serve to adequately tackle the transportation problems. when you have the transport issue sorted you can then start to split hairs about which is used and which is new. if the man goes and purchases new trains leaving roads, healthcare and other pertinent issues unattended internet activists will still come on here to abuse and blame him for not doing anything and asking if hungry lagosians will eat trains |
@topic nigerians never cease to amaze me,as usual we leave the more serious to blindly tackle the sublime in a state where the roads are virtual death traps in a state where there are thrice the number of inhabitants using facilities in a state where the main mode of transportation is the road the man at least makes available an alternative and they are talking about it being used why do nigerians patronise second hand clothes market in yaba and other areas when galleria, the palms and other boutiques selling brand new designers abound?? the canadians are totally right to make fun of us having their used trains, but we are not only using their used trains also their used cars, their used clothes their used generators in fact their used anything that can fit into a container like OYB said in the first page of this thread HOLD YOUR CLUELESS GEJ RESPONSIBLE AND STOP DENIGRATING A MAN WHO IS TRYING TO USE THE LIMITED RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO HIM TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR LAGOSIANS! i have seen people trekking more than 30/40/50 miles on a daily basis due to an inability to get a bus as recent as last year with okadas charging an arm and a leg bus drivers charge people exorbitantly because they know majority of the commuters don't have a choice same as okada drivers i would rather sit comfortably in a fairly used tram and get to my destination than thumb my nose at it and continue trekking almost 80miles on a daily basis if you haven't worked in a man's shoes it is eminently difficult for you to theorise where it pinches, |
the man is not heartless he is CLUELESS he simply cannot handle the complexities of the nigerian nation hence believes by ignoring what he has no solution to it will magically disappear, when obj's govt is compared to his then we begin to see why it is incumbent on presidents to have some level of experience before governing a nation like nigeria |
lwise:exactly what the fifth columnists want you to think like bob marley sang pls emancipate yourself from mental slavery |
lool the man has not been active on twitter for some reason he is a breath of fresh air in nigeria's political landscape the lord knows nigerians need this sort of man to at least keep their mind off the wickedness and corruption amongst the politicians |
Beaf:you posted an article in support of your claims but none of the info you have asserted is anywhere to be found in same article besides I'm sure you have heard of a saying in govt called collective responsibility. besides ACN as a party has stated the party stance on the removal of fuel subsidy which is clear and unambiguous, same as the reps and senators e.t.c who have publicly stated their stance. if you think the removal is justified then i guess you are the exception amongst almost 170 million nigerians i also strongly believe you don't live in nigeria hence it is quite easy to say |
