I knew we would fight hard for this victory and we sure did. The 1st half was pretty rough on us even though we had most of the possession. We came out more purposeful in the 2nd half and super Frank was super with a goal and an assist. Alan has to wait till his next match to win his first game.
Did anyone notice that Malouda also scored the 2nd goal in the 2nd leg of last season's fixture?

i dont think the problem we have is flair players but play makers.
Deco should have been one but his form is not as formidable as it once was.
i should be saying Mikel is one but we all know that story.
we need 2 playmakers that are good in dangerous passes, shooting from outside the box, and maybe possess dribbling skills which might really not be necessary anyway.
we should have gone for Modric.
i know he doesnt have the physical prowress we fancy at chelsea but we can see from his recent displays against Man utd at the Beer Cup finals and against Chelsea at WHL that he can be influential in big games. there are lot of play makers out there and i just hope we can acquire one or two.
