See how they are all foaming at the mouth like rabid dogs because you don't share in the same mental delusion as they do 😄. Funny thing is they themselves dont even agree with one another which is quite ironic and have got not a single shred of proof. They could have simply scrolled by your post but nah, the virus has eaten in too deep, so they need to bark.

You don't know how difficult what you've done is, but with time you might get it. To break free from indoctrination that most likely started from your first day on earth and to then free the mind from barbaric and archaic mental delusions is no small feat. Well done on freeing your mind and thinking outside the box. As you can already see, lots of people are not going to like it, crab mentality i guess.

Expected from a literal cult. Remember a similar incident with same JW's on Discovery ID. Man wanted to leave, parents refused and began their shunning nonsense, made steps to take the kids away from him, on xmas day or his bday i think, can't remember, guy went out bought a gun, then killed his whole family including himself. Sad story all round, a terrible cult to get into.

Your write up doesn't take into account the agency of Choice!
It doesn't matter the care and finesse put into a Tesla cyber truck when the driver sends it to the lagoon.

Or don't you see how "beautiful" destruction is when human agency comes into play?

As long as there is free will there would be errors and problems and that's why God prepared from the beginning the "lamb of sacrifice" a lot will say "I want to find my own way but that self same way could lead them under the bridge"

God's not against your choice, you will use your hands to choose either life or death.
And how does that change anything i said, practically makes no difference. Besides what choice? Or you mean the illusion of choice?! Oh you mean the free will a supposed omnipotent and omniscient being who could see the end from the beginning gave his creations and was pissed off and taken aback at what they did with it, after declaring em perfect and then decided to punish and wipe em out for using said freewill, that freewill?! lol, what a joke.
Mythical stories with ludicrous plot holes written by primitive and limited minds with very little knowledge of how the world works ergo the numerous plotholes, nothing more.

Look how long you and you fellow 'christain' been arguing over whose interpretation is correct, its funny and you guys expect to be taken seriously when you can't even agree what it is your book says. Nah... Show me 2 christains who agree on the interpretation of the bible from cover to cover and you'd have found a miracle. I rather enjoy watching the delusional joke from the sidelines.

because your life is not in saliva, sweat nor urine.

If you are asking about the flood, the question is did that look to you in anyway as a plan to save man? It was clearly God's display of anger. God wasn't starting afresh, Noah found favor and was spared. How is that starting afresh. Starting afresh by telling them they could now eat meat? Are you being serious?!

Are you not being pathetic by referring to it as impatient of a little child?

How old are you? How you ever been patient with someone who annoyed you more than a year, wait scratch that, a month without reacting?

Sorry not a month, just this post, can you be patient enough before getting impatient and anger.

Before you judge something try to check if you actually better.

By the way patiently tells us some of the "several examples" of God's word being nullified.
And how is my 'life in blood'? cause without any of the fluids, you die. So the flood wasn't to start afresh, my bad. It was according to you "God's display of anger" Oh so like an impatient narcissistic little child throwing a tantrum afterall. He supposedly gave them freewill and then was pissed off with what they did with it?! lol! Despite knowing the end from the beginning. That was part of the master plan right. Funny your subconscious agrees with me, with you referring to your god as it cause that's the most fitting description. 😁 What's even more funny is comparing a human to a supposed divine being where the human is supposedly inferior in order to justify shortcomings of said being. That's what i call... em what's the word again 'Pathetic'. As for the examples you requested of his word being nullified, they're actually so many its funny but i expect mental gymnastics as usual. How many of the commandments God gave in the Tanakh, do you follow?! If that's not nullification, i don't know what is.

It's Kafkaesque to you because you can't comprehend the hidden aspects of salvation!
You use physical means to solve physical problems but how do you solve spiritual ones?

Doctors in general use Medical tools for surgery. You don't see doctors use lawnmower they can as well borrow some tools from other professions. At least there are uses for hammer in the medical field but none for lawnmowers.

At the end of the day it's all about solving the problem of sin permanently, sin against God is going against his will but when you are in line with his will then there is no sin!

How then can you always be inline with God?
You must be led of God!
Lol! i'ld like to see you do without something as 'minor' as saliva, sweat or urine and then see how sustained your life would be. Besides is blood the only "major fluid that sustains life"? Or is it the only "major fluid that sustains life" that they could see and attach sentimental importance to, from left over practices of cultic rituals from their polytheistic days, which btw was also borrowed from other older surrounding cultures in the ANE. What about lymphatic, cerebrospinal and pleural fluids or even plasma?! Or those don't sustain life? Basically its the bolded, no matter the spin you put on it.

So at the end of day, the many analogies and stories leads to 'Yes' the plan failed ergo the unwinding explanations to justify it's outright failure, according to the mythical story anyway, cause its nothing more than myth. Isn't it laughable then that you have to make excuses for a supposedly omniscient, omnipotent, being by comparing it to a presupposed flawed human, who if i remember correctly, were created 'perfect'. Suddenly there's no guarantee he can create something perfect anymore?! Oh my! So much plot holes in this story of fiction, with lots of presuppositions to make up for the glaring plot holes. Its kind of funny.

"It's Kafkaesque to you because you can't comprehend the hidden aspects of salvation!" Somehow, something that requires the least common denominator of acceptance(talking abt belief btw) which is applicable to the most basic of persons suddenly has supposedly hidden nuances that require 'special comprehension'. Lol! It's no surprise then, that you guys cant even agree on what your texts say or which particular texts to even use, across your ever increasing no of denominations despite claims of inspiration from above.

For a supposedly omnipotent, omniscient being that sees the end from the beginning, your god sucks at making plans.

The blood was required to redeem souls, for the redemption of lost souls.

Forgiveness of sins is one thing
Punishment for sins is another, God is just as He is merciful and His word cannot be nullified, the soul that sins shall die, so death must be paid for the sins of a soul.

And when a person truly forgive you they clear your debts for you.

If I forgave you a debt and still asked you to pay, have I forgiven your debt?

Jesus forgave and paid the price
Why would blood be required? Why blood even? Why not saliva or sweat or urine? Yes i'm been facetious, but that's cause it makes no iota of sense and is just regurgitated lines of indoctrination. Besides which lost souls, i thought that was already taken care of with the flood. So how come after wiping everything cause of they weren't how you wanted, in order to start afresh, you still end up with 'lost souls' needing to be saved. Does that mean the first plan failed so it had to be redone?!

And this time instead of get angry and destroying everything like an impatient child, he decides to to 'forgive' but with extra kafkaesque steps that he himself set up. His words can not be nullified?! When there are several examples of exactly that happening and its explained a way with mental gymnastics. Nah! If a person forgives you for wrongdoing, they simply move on, no extra steps. QED.

Your consensus' fiction are from those helping to cover up the invention of your Jesus christ. The real Jesuses in the first century were normal people born of a man and a woman and not your Jesus craft born of a god that mated with Mary another man's wife to produce himself as half man/half god, that offered himself on the cross as a sacrifice to himself, then had a fake resurrection and a fake ascension and for two thousand years now he could not fake his second coming because that's too much for him to fake. All he can do now is to sneak out of the right hand of his father or himself, to appear three hundred years later to a pagan Roman emperor by showing him a sign in the sky to help him win his civil war that made the emperor to unify the Roman empire, yet the invented Jesus craft did nothing to help his own people when the same Rome destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple he called his father's house and Rome took all his people that survived the destruction of Jerusalem away as slaves to Rome.
For you to believe such nonsense shows you still have the mind of a baby.

For your information ChatGPT is a very powerful tool that provides information, answers questions, and assists with complex tasks and can solve complex problems. I know you still belong to the stone age so to you using ChatGPT to quickly gather information that would have taken years to do makes you ashamed, when it would be very expensive to travel to libraries and other information centres around the globe, but believing the nonsense that a god mated with another man's wife and produced himself and offered himself to himself on the cross makes sense to you.
This shows I 've been discussing with someone who still has the mind of a baby.
Man, I really wanted to remain courteous and didn't want to be condescending, even though from the onset it was glaringly obvious I was talking to someone with nothing but polluted air between his ears. So, let's have at it. It's funny you should say "my Jesus," because, one, I'm not even a Christian, and two, I'm not even a theist—just to show how much you're living proof that it’s possible to live without a brain. Because if you had one, you wouldn't have just made moronic assumptions like a rabid raccoon.

Like I said, if you'd like,, scream into the abyss, it wouldn't change what is a consensus fact decided upon by scholars whose feet you can't even lick. Do you even know what a fact or consensus is, you illiterate Bleep, or do you need to ask ChatGPT? 😅 If I were as dim-witted as you, I would quickly accept the claim that the historical Jesus didn't exist, as it supports my position of being irreligious and all, but nah, that's for room-temperature IQ morons like you who can't set bias aside. "Data over Dogma." I follow the evidence to come to a conclusion, even if it contradicts my original stance—simple common sense, which unfortunately forever eludes you. It's ironic you ridicule Christians because of their belief in Jesus when your own nonsense beliefs are just as deluded, but instead, more archaic and barbaric—supporting genocide, infanticide, rape, patricide, misogyny, sexual assault, discrimination, racism, hypocrisy, and whatnot from the insecure tyrant YHVH.

As far as I'm concerned, all your Abrahamic religions are major horse turd 😅, but that doesn't change the fact about the historical Jesus. At least you put your only two brain cells to work to manage to string words into sentences instead of shamelessly ripping off AI verbatim this time. As for your shallow, half-baked AI rant, save it for your fellow retards—you'll need it. A data scientist who creates data models and works with AI doesn't need info from someone who shamelessly rips off AI and couldn't articulate a simple thought process of his own for an ordinary forum discussion. The oaf couldn't even at the very least rearrange the format so it doesn't come across as AI-generated text to those who make frequent use of it.

Then again, it isn't my fault to have those expectations from someone whose only two brain cells are fighting for third place. It's interesting to see the amount of energy you put into not letting education get in the way of your ignorance. Still, I'd say go educate yourself, grade A m0ron. You're too dumb to be reasoned with so i'll be ignoring your daft ass.

MindHacker9009:
You are the one spewing out nonsense.

These are solid reasons the Roman empire invented Jesus christ:

1. Control over Jewish Messianic Expectations:
Purpose: To pacify Jewish rebellion and control the population by creating a messiah figure that would discourage violent uprisings and advocate for peace and obedience to Roman rule.
Theory: By crafting a messianic figure who promoted “turning the other cheek” and “rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar’s,” the Roman Empire could have sought to quell unrest in Judea, which was a hotspot of anti-Roman rebellion.
Support: Jesus’ teachings emphasize peace, non-violence, and submission to authority, which some theorists argue could have been designed to weaken resistance to Roman power.

2. Roman Elite Propaganda Tool:
Purpose: A tool of propaganda for consolidating power and controlling subject populations, especially the Jews and early Christians.
Theory: Some suggest that Roman elites or rulers (like the Flavian dynasty) invented or shaped the narrative of Jesus to unite the empire under one religion that promoted obedience to the Roman state.
Support: After the Jewish-Roman wars, the empire may have benefited from a unified religious narrative that discouraged insurrection and promoted unity across diverse populations.

3. Fusion of Pagan and Jewish Religious Traditions:
Purpose: To create a hybrid religion that would appeal to both Roman pagans and Jews, thereby unifying the empire religiously.
Theory: By incorporating elements of mystery religions (such as Mithraism) and Jewish monotheism, the figure of Jesus could have been created or reshaped to serve as a bridge between different cultures in the empire.
Support: Jesus’ story shares some parallels with earlier dying-and-rising god motifs found in various mythologies (e.g., Osiris, Dionysus), which could suggest a fusion of traditions.

4. Plausible Denial of Rebellion:
Purpose: To distract from the failed Jewish messiahs and other rebellious figures in history.
Theory: By creating a peaceful messiah figure, the Romans could have aimed to rewrite the history of Jewish rebellion, casting failed messianic leaders as false prophets while promoting the pacifistic Jesus as the true messiah.
Support: Jewish history during the period was filled with messianic claimants who led uprisings (e.g., Bar Kokhba). Jesus’ nonviolent message could have been a deliberate counter-narrative to prevent future revolts.

5. Influence of Roman Emperors and Flavian Dynasty:
Purpose: To support the deification of Roman emperors and align Christian beliefs with the emperor’s authority.
Theory: Some conspiracy theorists (e.g., Joseph Atwill’s Caesar’s Messiah) suggest that the Flavian emperors (particularly Vespasian and Titus) created Christianity as a means of controlling Jewish subjects and ensuring loyalty to Rome by creating a godlike figure (Jesus) that mirrored Roman emperor worship.
Support: According to Atwill and similar theorists, the Gospels were constructed by Roman authors who were commissioned by the Flavians. Allegedly, parallels between the Gospels and Roman imperial propaganda are seen as evidence of this.

6. Manipulation of Early Christian Texts:
Purpose: To ensure that the foundational Christian texts would align with Roman ideals and governance.
Theory: Roman authorities or influential leaders (possibly through Constantine’s later role in shaping the Christian canon) could have modified or guided the formation of the New Testament to align with Roman values, inserting themes of obedience and loyalty to the state.
Support: The Gospel accounts that advocate respect for secular authority and separation of religion from politics (e.g., “Render unto Caesar…”) could have been shaped to benefit Roman rule.

7. Mythological Foundation for the Roman State Religion:
Purpose: To create a unifying state religion centered on a savior figure.
Theory: In the process of transitioning from paganism to Christianity, the Roman Empire may have shaped the figure of Jesus as a necessary central figure to promote a new state religion that could unify the empire.
Support: By the time of Emperor Constantine in the 4th century, Christianity had become a state religion. Some theorists believe this was a calculated political move to consolidate power and legitimize the empire through a divine figure.

8. Censorship and Control of Historical Records:
Purpose: To control the historical narrative and suppress alternative accounts of Jewish history and resistance.
Theory: Roman authorities may have destroyed or suppressed texts that presented alternative messianic movements or portrayed Jesus as a different figure, leaving only the Roman-approved version of Christianity to survive.
Support: The lack of historical sources outside the Gospels that mention Jesus (particularly during his lifetime) is often cited by conspiracy theorists to suggest that his narrative was manufactured or heavily controlled.

9. Incorporation of Hellenistic and Roman Cultural Ideals:
Purpose: To blend Jewish theology with Hellenistic (Greek) and Roman cultural ideals, making Christianity more acceptable across the empire.
Theory: The life and teachings of Jesus could have been shaped to reflect broader Hellenistic values such as Stoicism, virtue, and moral integrity, combined with Roman ideals of loyalty to the state.
Support: Some scholars point to similarities between Jesus’ teachings and the philosophies of Hellenistic moral traditions, suggesting a possible Roman influence in shaping the figure of Christ.

10. Centralization of Religious Authority in Rome:
Purpose: To establish Rome as the religious center of a unified empire through Christianity.
Theory: The creation of a religion centered on Jesus, with Rome as its spiritual capital, may have been a calculated move to consolidate religious and political power under Roman authority.
Support: With the eventual rise of the papacy and the establishment of the Vatican, Rome became the heart of Christianity, which some believe was part of a long-term Roman strategy.

The concept of the Original Torah is to complex for you and is beyond your current level of understanding, which is why you cannot grasp the idea right now.
The version of the Torah found in the Old Testament is not represent the original Torah used in the First Temple period for several reasons, including the likelihood of later editing, the evolution of religious beliefs, the influence of the Babylonian exile, and the absence of a fully written or standardized text during the First Temple. The Torah, as presented in the Old Testament, reflects theological, legal, and narrative developments that occurred after the destruction of the First Temple, suggesting that the First Temple Torah may have been simpler, more diverse, and different in content and structure.
Already told you. You can argue all you want, what's consensus fact is fact no matter what you write, except you want to write a thesis for peer review to change the current consensus of biblical scholarship, but i seriously doubt that, seeing as you can't even write your own comments without shamelessly ripping off and copy pasting chatgpt. It's akin to telling a flat earther the earth is spherical, no point(pun intended😅).

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Allah Allow Muslims To Marry Their Uncle Daughter Or Stepdaughters by Lucifyre:

Christians did not say that Bible is a direct word of God but are saying that Bible contains word of God or words from people that is inspired by God but Muslims claim that Koran is entirely words from God.

Christians can easily deny any error or strange practices in the Bible because it is not given by god directly while on Muslim side, it is not possible to deny any part of Koran since it is directly from God.

So Muslims find it difficult to explain child marriages, capturing women for sex slaves and keeping slaves, Sun and Moon moving in Orbit, incest sisterly marriages that is found in Koran which is acclaimed word of god.
How convenient. Where do the views of fundamentalist Christians who are the majority, and hold the view the bible is inerrant and the word of god fall under this your fallacy of false attribution and assumption? Denying what's in your bible when it shows god speaking directly while attacking the views of others for the same is stinking hypocrisy. Whatever you don't like, you try to deny, absolute stinking hypocrisy. I first said i wasn't sure if it was ignorance or hypocrisy, now I'm sure.

You are missing the point. Like they say the best form of view is from above. Because from above you get a perfect outlook of things, a complete view not based on lateral perceptions. God made creation, man included; he wanted all of his handwork to dwell with him. Hence the repetitive emphasis across the bible for the gathering of all creation unto him. Irrespective of this zeal(interest) to have his children be with him. he gave them freewill. This freewill creates branches from the will(ideal) of God, some of these branches are fatal. Now a little thought, if God were to be Life and we are living because we have life(physical life) then if this life were to be taken away what becomes of you, dust!. So is the spiritual Life as many as are not joined or dwell with God will not partake of this Life and hence they die. Wisdom dictates that if you give a person free choice then you must have all the solutions to whatsoever decision that the person will choose. Because the more choices people have the worst they become some of these choices become counterintuitive. That solution is the Son(being joined to the son). That's why he is the tree of Life and we are grafted to it. So it doesn't matter what decisions you make as long as you are joined to this Tree😊 that's the point.
In case it wasn't clear from my comment, maybe you missed the sacarsm. I think your bible is a steaming pile of horse shit, so no need for plenty sermon except you have proof which you obviously dont, only then would i care to listen.

You asked a SCIENCE based question but instead of concentrating on science textbooks you're insisting a RELIGIOUS book provide the answer you want! cheesy
I'm not even an atheist and even they have common sense enough to have found most of the answers in science. What's very funny though, is a book about fiction saying and insisting the 1 + 1 as found in mathematics textbooks isn't 2 but 3. It'll be properly ridiculed and laughed at. Nevermind the fact that the book about fiction contradicts itself at every turn in its fiction, sometimes even on the same page. Even way funnier is when anyone who reads the book of fiction comes to their own subjective conclusion and interpretation and scoffs at those who reach differing conclusions as wrong. Such a book with just very little logic is rightly laughed at and taken as a big fucking joke that it is, same with those who read and insist on it being true and fact. All a big fucking joke with no recourse and nothing to back it up other than noise and absolute delusion.

Your opinion is not based on critical analysis of the historical information we now have available other than the NT. The point I have been making is that Jesus christ is an invention of the Roman empire and was used as a psychological warfare and later as a political tool within the Roman empire and to the rest of the world where the Europeans have occupied.

Flavius Josephus in order to save his life had to switch to the side of the Roman empire, he was giving a place to stay in the palace of the Roman emperor and was made to write about the invented Jesus christ and the fake resurrection, to make it look like it is true because it's coming from a Jewish first century prophet and historian. But the truth is that Jews see him as a traitor that betrayed his own people.

There were other people called Jesus in the first century but the half man/ half god was an invention of the Roman empire. It was easy to invent a story of a fake virgin birth, a fake resurrection with all four stories contradicting themselves, fake accession. But it is impossible to fake the second coming even though all the prophecies of the invented Jesus christ came to pass in seventy AD when Jerusalem and the Temple in Jerusalem were destroyed.

About the Torah you mentioned you can as well ask which Ifa or which Ogun, or which Shango, or which Olókun.

If you really want to understand how the Roman empire invented Jesus Christ then you need to watch this documentary: CAESAR'S MESSIAH: The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus - OFFICIAL VERSION.

At first when writing my previous comment when i said you move from conclusion to evidence i wanted to add that you're like someone who stumbled across some random youtube video but i thought it was condescending so i left it out. Unfortunately you've gone ahead to prove my thought right by actually citing a youtube source which is quite shallow for a source even if based on Atwill's work.

First of like i said earlier my position is not an opinion, its consensus fact, so it doesn't matter what some random online person says. Scholars way more knowledgeable than i'ld ever be, that have dedicated their lives to the study of the subject matter came to this conclusion and not even anytime recently. It's not a debated matter anymore by scholars. So when i hear people with this your theory i know, they haven't got a clue, no offense.

I've talked about this with an atheist on here as well and he too cited youtube sources which was really funny and I'm not even a theist. Reputable scholars like Bart Ehrman, Dale Allison, Maurice Casey and John Meier to name a few have rubbished this claim. Even mythicist scholars like Richard Carrier who don't believe Jesus existed have rubbished this particular roman claim from scholars like Joseph Atwill who i referenced in my prev comment that hold this view. And his case is way more put together than the shallow defense you put up here, sourced from some random youtube video with a similar title to Atwills book and likely based on his work. Like seriously who uses youtube as a source, you're not going to be taken seriously by anyone who knows what they're talking about be it theist/atheist or agnostic, in biblical history terms.

As for my Torah questions, i knew you didn't know what you were talking about ergo dodged giving responses. Like its funny, what original or fake Torah contains absolute differences in the content i mentioned about morals, extermely laughable to then suggest Christians changed it, besides the Torah is just the first five books of the Hebrew bible or Tanakh and not the whole thing like you allude to. That claim is basically nonsense as well. If you would like a reputable source to educate yourself i'll suggest Professor Hayes' "Introduction to the Old testament" course from the University of Yale.

Child, there are no inconsistencies in the Bible about the really important things. You won't see anywhere where it says Moses received 8 Commandments or that Elizabeth was the mother of Christ, or that the Lord said kill your neighbor, etc
Really! So we are making progress then, first we started with no contradictions or inconsistencies, then we moved to no inconsistencies "of the really important things" 😁. Btw who determines what's important and what's not seeing as no 2 christains agree on the interpretation of the bible from cover to cover, despite been divinely inspired. Then again if it was divinely inspired it'll be contradiction and inconsistency free as God is perfect and not an author of confusion right?!

Anyways i'm sure you would say, God saying "Thou shall not kill" and then commanding them to kill severally because "reasons", while claiming to be a god of love is not an inconsistency or contradiction. So a simpler litmus test then, simple question i like asking you guys. Does god change his mind?! Simple Yes or No.

Here are proofs:
The Book of Acts claims Three Thousand souls were added to the Church in just one day, and that daily the Church grew, this was around 33 CE after the ascension of Jesus. Flavius Josephus the only Jewish historian in the first century that Christians do refer to for reference was born in the year 37 CE just three years after the fake ascension of Jesus christ and Josephus stated that there were only three sects in existence when he was 16, and he did not hear of Christianity.
Flavius Josephus: "And when I was about sixteen years old, I had a mind to make trim of the several sects that were among us. These sects are three: - The first is that of the Pharisees, the second that Sadducees, and the third that of the Essenes, as we have frequently told you; for I thought that by this means I might choose the best, if I were once acquainted with them all; so I contented myself with hard fare, and underwent great difficulties, and went through them all."

The Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, writing in the first century, mentions several individuals named Jesus (or Yeshua in Hebrew). It was a common name at the time, so multiple figures with the name appear in his works. Here are the individuals named Jesus that Josephus mentioned, but with Jesus of Nazareth he did not say 'son of' which historians have claimed for a Jewish writer not to mention the 'son of' shows it is a sign that was a made up story and it's either he left the clue himself or a forger added it later:

1. Jesus, son of Ananias
Mentioned in: The Jewish War (Book 6, Chapter 5, Sections 3)
Role: A prophetic figure
Details: Around AD 62, Jesus, son of Ananias, was a commoner who began to prophesy doom for Jerusalem. He wandered through the streets during the Feast of Tabernacles, repeatedly shouting warnings of the city's destruction. Despite being arrested, beaten, and questioned by Roman authorities, he continued his proclamations. He was eventually killed during the siege of Jerusalem by a stone launched from a Roman catapult.

2. Jesus, son of Gamaliel
Mentioned in: The Jewish War (Book 4, Chapter 3, Sections 9)
Role: High Priest
Details: Jesus, son of Gamaliel, served as a High Priest in Jerusalem shortly before the First Jewish-Roman War. He was involved in the political and religious leadership of the city during this tumultuous period but was removed from office after a short tenure.

3. Jesus, son of Sapphias
Mentioned in: The Jewish War (Book 2, Chapter 20, Sections 4)
Role: Leader of rebels in Tiberias
Details: Jesus, son of Sapphias, was a leader of a rebellious faction in Tiberias during the Jewish revolt against Rome. He played a key role in the violence that erupted in Galilee, seizing the city's royal palace and massacring a group of Roman sympathizers.

4. Jesus, brother of James (Jesus of Nazareth)
Mentioned in: Antiquities of the Jews (Book 20, Chapter 9, Section 1)
Role: Religious leader
Details: Josephus refers to Jesus of Nazareth, the central figure of Christianity, indirectly through a reference to his brother James. In this passage, Josephus discusses the illegal execution of James, "the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ" (Χριστός). While this is a brief mention, it is significant because it confirms that Josephus was aware of Jesus and his movement.

5. Jesus, son of Damnaeus
Mentioned in: Antiquities of the Jews (Book 20, Chapter 9, Section 1)
Role: High Priest
Details: After the execution of James, the brother of Jesus (Jesus of Nazareth), Jesus, son of Damnaeus, was appointed as High Priest by the Roman authorities. This appointment came as a political maneuver during a period of unrest in Jerusalem.

6. Jesus, son of Thebuthus
Mentioned in: The Jewish War (Book 6, Chapter 8, Section 3)
Role: Temple official
Details: Jesus, son of Thebuthus, was involved in the events leading to the Roman siege of Jerusalem in AD 70. He is mentioned as one of the officials who surrendered sacred Temple items to the Romans in an attempt to gain favor and spare his own life.
How does this in any way prove that Jesus was a fictionalized invention of the romans created to do what you said. If anything it even counters your claim by pointing to an actual historical Jesus which Josephus did. All you did was show me what we already know that christainity was an offshoot of Judaism, where you expecting a new created sect to have fully formed . According to academic scholar Dan Maclellan, even by the time of the writing of the first gospel of Mark around 70CE, the no of christains compared to the general population was like 1000 to basically millions, besides Jospehus was talking about Jewish sects. This doesn't serve the purpose you think it does.

Yes there were several individuals named Jesus as it was a common name but again i don't see how this helps your claim instead again its the opposite since he was uniquely identified out of the others because the unique identifier was how he was popularly known, and was sufficient enough to identify him. Even if that wasn't the case how does the lack of "son of lead" to the conclusion you came up with. Its rather poorly done, maybe read Atwill's book to form a better argument to support this your claim.

Like most theists you come to a conclusion and look for and as well bend evidence to support that conclusion when it should be the other way round with the evidence leading to the conclusion. Like i said earlier it's ready a consensus and has gone past opinion amongst scholars, there was a historical Jesus the Christ, did he do what was said in the bible?! That's a different matter all together. Even for mythicists that deny the historical Jesus, the claim that a historical Jesus was a roman invention is clearly disputed and not consensus. So this your proof is rather poor cause it doesn't support you claim at all, even though its a legitimate source.

P.S You keep dodging my questions about the Torah, right from your first thread. Lol!

My research on Christian Bible shows that the act was prohibited by Moses on their way to promise land. It is forbidden for them to marry their uncle daughter or stepdaughter.
Leviticus 20:17-21 and Deuteronomy 27:20-23 clearly prohibited those practices for the Jews.
Did you read what you posted at all? lol! Quote it to show where it says what you say it says. And how's does that excuse the clear hypocrisy when incestuous relationships still happened, something you're against another religion for permitting. God even killed a man for refusing to pour his sperm in his late brother's wife. Is that not clear contradiction and hypocrisy?

It does!

If you're asked to use what you experienced in life to teach your child will you go into academics or what the child needed to start his own carrier in life?
It's only when you want your child to practice your profession that you must teach him what has to do with your profession but if not then all the child needs from you is fatherly care.
That's what the Bible is all about it's not a SCIENCE TEXTBOOK! smiley
"the bible is not a science book" obviously yes, so it shouldn't pretend to be one by telling us how things came about, when much of what it has told us has been proven to be outrightly false. From the creation story of Genesis, to the flood and the exit of the Israelites out of Egypt amongst many others. It should also not pretend to be a historical book when much of what it says happened and how it happened either never happened or didn't happen how it says and that's a fact no matter how much u try to spin it.

EXACTLY, child. The inconsistencies in the Bible are exactly what prove it's authenticity. If it were concocted by some guy (or by Rome as some idiotically claim) it would be perfect. Everything would agree perfectly. But because it was inspired by God but indeed written down by fallible humans, it has inconsistencies.
Any more questions little one?
wtf😅

Thought God wasn't an author of confusion. He must love the chaos with you guys arguing over whose interpretation is right across 40,000+ denominations and more than 2 religions. Perfect.

That's because Jesus christ is a Roman empire invention to control the minds of people in the nations they have conquered.
This is a false notion that gets repeated often and its tiring. Its basically consensus that there was a historical Jesus. Can you adeaquately prove your claim from reputable sources? Obviously no, i'ld be surprised if you managed that. And when u say God of the torah, what torah?

It is not permitted in Christian Bible to marry your Uncle daughter which is marrying your father brother daughter and also marrying your stepdaughter is prohibited, that goes along with our cultural traditions. In our tradition if you do that you will be ostracised from community because you have desecrated our land in committing abomination.
I don't know if this is plain ignorance or hypocrisy. Who did Abraham marry? Who did Abraham's brother marry? who did Jacob marry? Who did Esau marry? who did Isaac marry? Who did Adam's other children marry? Who did Cain marry,? Who did Noah's grand children marry? Who did Moses' father marry? Who did Judah marry? Was the world not populated and repopulated through incest according to your bible? So what are you saying.

Maybe because YHVH was a psychopathic genocidal maniac that had to satisfy his thirst for blood one more time so he couldn't just forgive outright, he had to kill or 'sacrifice' himself to himself to appease himself for rules and circumstances orchestrated by himself. Funny thing is Jesus outrightly forgave people before his death but still had to die for everyone to be forgiven. Hmm! What a clusterfuck of absolute horse shit just like the torah as well.

This is a serious reason my people cannot be Muslims because this is an act of committing abomination in my tradition and are regarded as incest.
Yeah but they can be christains where exactly the same thing happens🙄

That will be tantamount to diversion!

The Author has a purpose for which the Bible was written it has little to do with science, economy, commerce, geography, mathematics and other subject matters.
So little is mentioned about all these but when it comes to the main theme of the Bible it carries all from the beginning until now:
GOVERNMENT

How did humans get here?
Why do innocent people suffer?
Why wars when everyone want peace?
What happens to us when we die?
What will happen to our planet in the future?
How can we cope with life's anxieties?
What about our love life?
How can we raise well meaning children?
How do we live peacefully with neighbors?
Why is human government cruel?
Who is behind human government?

The Author of the Bible claims He is God who created all things so as the SUPREME BEING it's peace and security that matters most to him but as for other subjects He has given us the privilege to figure out all of that when He said:

“Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.” Genesis 1:28

Humans will forever continue to discover more and more things as long as we live! Ecclesiastes 3:11
.

And how does this address anything.

Of what significance is the existence of planets outer space to the gospel of eternal life?

In all it relevance, scriptural idea states that Adam and Eve sinned and death came to man. But Christ resurrected to restore eternal life back to man.

How does the existence of planets come in here?
Its obvious you just read the headline and not the write up , quite typical.
