Now I have eaten this combination before.(cocoyam leaves and banku) I had my throat scratching me through out the day the first time.

The second time I saw it at a restaurant I ordered it... Because it looked enticing because they added Egusi. I had same effect or result- itchy throat.

Now back to today I was with this person. And she managed to convince me that cocoyam leaves don't cause scratching throat.... According to her maybe it wasn't prepared very well the first and second time I ate ... Hers was different and would not be same.

So she brings 2 wrapped bankus and... well, some cocoyam leaves mixed with Egusi. Looked really good. Most Ghanian dishes (my opinion) doesn't really look good. This one looks good to go. So I decide inside me... yeah, she is right. Here's is a different mix. Probably home made.

So I dip the banku in the soup and swallow, left for about 2 morsels of banku. But end up with a damn scratchy throat. She ends up consoling me and recommends I get some syrup, or sweet at a pharmacy which I forget the name now. (I didn't get, but OK now.)

Now to your picture... It's just ground pepper and onions in that mix. Maybe a bit of shitoh at the side I see.

I have eaten this mix before and I can tell you it's just bland old peppers. The only thing exciting here will be the fish. That's all.

From your other comment if im to assume its the house with the scary old lady ill assume your trigger was fear. For example the trigger for my sleep paralysis was stress and anxiety. Due to fear you were not always getting enough REM sleep, the fear prevented quality sleep and lead to getting stuck in that faux wakefulness and semi sleep state where sleep paralysis happens. When you left the house the trigger of fear resolved leading to better quality sleep and no paralysis. Like i said the caveat here is this is hypothetical.

Being from a religious family, My mind told me it was the Devil and I started praying immediately. We exited my bedroom into the living room and, I saw everyone from my brothers to my dad all sitting down and me yelling at them. They could not hear me and I was taken out of the living room, I| started praying again as something told me I was going to die that day.

I began to make lots of promises in prayer and suddenly as if confronted by somebody, I was dropped on the floor and the monster ran through our gate and was gone. What you experienced here is nothing more than sleep paralysis. My first experience was also quite similar, dosing off with siblings around, screaming and them not hearing me while a monster tried to drag me through my bed down. Learnt about what it was and how to control after a couple of subsequent episodes, noticed what triggered it and how to manage it when it happens. Haven't experienced it in a long time, didn't do any praying casting and binding myopic bs.

U'ld call and text someone but u can't move the convo forward or contribute meaningfully, i always have to do the heavy lifting, so why texting and calling if u got nothing to say?! Recently ive purposefully started mirroring her.

The last time we spoke after she called i didn't to the heavy lifitng as usual, see how dry the convo was, u could hear crickets, i wanted to literally lol.
