Beauty pageantry in Nigeria is another name for everything immoral. I have had a little taste of it, though I escaped. Forget the paparazzi and publicity. All Na wash.
I can't say I support chidimna for what she did cos she has the right to say no and walk away. But what happens there is more than meets the eye.
My advise is, if you truly want to be a model, be a runway model or marketing model. I'm sure she never knew it'd come to this.
What the public hear or read is that 'miss this' has won 5million dollars or 'miss that' has won a g_wagon without knowing what is hidden between those smiles. The winner might not even go home with 1tenth of the money won. It's a pity she got caught up in this mess. But like I said she has the choice to quit before it degenerated to this but the lust for media attention wouldn't let her. This is just a lesson for "upcoming" beauty pageants.
