Dangote will so deal with Nigerians ehn, una go smell pepper. This refinery is the worst thing that will ever happen to Nigerians, people just don't know it yet.
If you doubt me, how much was sugar and cement before dangote's monopoly, how much are they now?

The reason dangote succeeds is because there is weak enforcement of Anti-Trust and competition law in Nigeria. The day we enforce competition law in Nigeria, Dangote is finished. How would someone buy up cement companies and shut them down because you don't want them to rival your inflated priced cement?
What is stopping you from building this kinda refinary and bring a healthy competition?

Education / The Brutal Form Of Punishments In The Ancient World by luqxxee(m): 10:35am On May 15, 2020
1) The Blood Eagle

This alleged method of execution believed to have been performed by the Vikings included initially tying the victim’s hands and legs to prevent any movement. The torturer would then stab the victim up toward their rib cage. Every single rib would be carefully severed from the spine with an ax or some other sharp tool. It is believed that victims would often remain alive through this part of the procedure. This left the internal organs on display and salt would sometimes be rubbed into the wounds to increase pain. Finally, the lungs would be pulled out of the body to make it appear as if the victim literally had a pair of “wings.”

2) Scaphism

Scaphism, aka “the boats,” was an alleged ancient Persian method of execution where one died by literally being eaten alive. The victim would be placed between two wooden canoes or hollowed out tree trunks with their legs and head protruding outward. The executioners would then force the victim to consume a milk and honey mixture until they developed diarrhea. Surrounded by the victim’s own feces and vomit, even more of the milk and honey mixture would be applied to sensitive areas of the body. This would attract insects who would feed on the body and lay eggs in the various exposed orifices. With rations of the milk and honey mixture along with water, the victim was unlikely to die of hunger or thirst. Death would be agonizingly slow and usually came from septic shock or gangrene. An account by the Greek historian Plutiarch claimed that it took victims about 17 days to finally die.

3) Judas Cradle

Although more widely used in Medieval Europe, the purpose of the Judas Cradle was to obtain various kinds of confessions by forcing the nude victim onto a chair with a pyramid shaped seat. The victim’s feet would often be tied together in such a way that moving one leg would increase pain by forcing the other leg to move along with it. The torturer was able to raise and lower the victim with a rope and pulley system, which drove the penetrating part deeper into the victim. Some torturers would additionally place oil on the device, considerably increasing pain. The device was rarely or not at all washed, also increasing chances for death by infection. In some cases, the victim would be rocked or made to repeatedly fall on the pyramid shaped seat to obtain vital information.

4) Lead Sprinkler

This device, also typically used in the Middle Ages, was filled with molten lead, tar, boiling oil, and other scalding substances. Torturers poured metals into one end to allow for the extremely hot substances to drip over the stomach and other body parts of the victim. Execution would sometimes occur by pouring molten silver into the eyes, resulting in great pain and potential death.

Mine was in primary 3. I repeated the class and was stigmatized by almost everyone in the class, no one wanted to be my friend. I hated it so much because I wanted to always play with them. There was this teacher who doesn't even like seeing me at all. She just hated me. There was this day, she gave us a class exercise which I did like everyone else, she marked it gave everyone their books then called me to her desk, slapped me with the book, she called me a dummy and that I will never know anything in this life. God!! I been small o, but e touch me die.

@luqxxee, I'm unpleasantly surprised that you would be sharing such a bigoted comment given your stance as an atheist. You disagree with religion and religious bigots but have no issues segregating along ethical lines. Either you are not open minded enough or have consciously refused to see beyond all forms of socio-cultural divisions. So much for someone who nurtures the idea of moving to a more liberal society.

Kindly unfollow my id as I do same to yours.

As I said, move with learned muslim brothers and sisters, u will understand Islam much better.
NASA have responded to the hoax, and verified that it is false. They have stated that the photo was taken from the Apollo 10 mission to the moon, and that someone has added the quotation later. NASA confirmed the photo is of Rima Ariadaeus, which is a linear rille on the moon, and was first noticed through telescopes over 200 years ago. The rille is said to be severalhundred kilometres long, and when compared toNASA’s moon circumference measurement of 10,864 kilometres, it falls well short of stretchingthe whole distance. Other photographs taken from a further distance confirm its relatively short length.

Religion / How The Did Prophet Muhammad Split The Moon by luqxxee(m): 1:18pm On Feb 19, 2017
I was going through the Holy Quran and I saw one of the miracles Muhammad did to convince people was by dividing the moon into two halves and merged it again. logically is that possible??

The splitting of the moon: Narrated Anas, that the Makkans requested Allah's Messenger to show them a miracle, so he show them the splitting of the moon. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 831).

Even scientist has discover that d moon was once spitted b4, pls check NASA report, they will explain most better. Allah knows Best.

yea! it's very possible but that does not still rule out the fact that he remains the true God. I believe for u coming here with ur problem of deciding ur faith is not accidental; just give Jesus a chance. Brother listen and listen carefully, anybody that tells u there is no God is not doing u any good he or she is only misleading u. Even without going into spiritual activities every physical thing around us points to the fact that there is a supreme being. Before it gets too late the only way is Jesus forget those that would tell u that the stories of the bible are fabricated, it is just a ploy by the devil to confuse u; I agree with u that at times in life things happen that would make u want to doubt the existence of God but they are mere ploy by the devil to steal u. Be wise, good luck.
But why would God create me in the first place since he already knows that am going to disbelief in him. Did create me knowing fully that I'll still go to hell??

As a young of just 20 I was born into a Muslim family though my dad doesn't pray his five daily prayers but beliefs strongly in Allah. I on the other hand wants to correct my parents mistakes so enrolled myself into Islamic school at 15. but then a point came in my life where I started doubting some stuffs about my religion like the miracles like dividing the moon into two, commanding trees to bow down and so on. The idea of a supernatural being controlling the lives of over a billion people on earth sounds illogical to me. But then i still cannot believe that we living on earth is by chance. somebody please help me.

I'll ignore the part about her being "touched by the holy spirit" not because I disagree but because its anecdotal and there's no surefire way of confirming or denouncing that

now let's get down to business!

what most likely happened to her is called "Syncope"

I've had syncope 2ce in my life (both in my adolescent years) and one happened when I just left church service and on my way home and another at school, if the former had happened during church service I would've thought its holy spirit that "touched" me too! that's the power of coincidence

for those unfamiliar with the word "Syncope", Syncope is defined as a short loss of consciousness and muscle strength, characterized by a fast onset, short duration, and spontaneous recovery. It is due to a decrease in blood flow to the entire brain usually from low blood pressure. Signs that usually show before syncope may include lightheadedness, sweating , pale skin , blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, and feeling warm, among others. for my own experience; my syncope was preceded by lightheadedness, sweating and nausea

in layman's terms " Syncope " is simply "Fainting"

you need to ask your girlfriend to tell you if she felt any or all of those signs before losing consciousness

did I say it can be caused due to fasting? not having enough food in the stomach? no wonder many churches encourage their members not to eat before church service and some even straight up encourage fasting for the whole service day

I always encourage people that claim to have "fell down suddenly" by the holy spirit to have their health checked just to be safe because you have people who died from syncope

I'm a football fan so I'm more familiar with player's syncope

Antonio Puerta, Piermario Morosini, Marc Vivien Foe, Feher, Endurance Idahor all died via this effort syncope

as a Madrid supporter I watched Ruben De LA Red have a syncope against Real Union in the Copa Del Rey and retired since, he's one of the few lucky ones

mind you, I'm not ruling out Holy Spirit touching her
satisfied and thanks a lot

As I said earlier, moses is not my example but Jesus Christ. On the issue of invading people's lands, that is the story of human history and up till the twentieth century(end of second world war) it was the routine thing practised all over the world and people did not invade other lands for religious reasons(except in the case of islam) but for economic reasons. That said the world has moved beyond this primitive mentality(with the exception of the muslim world) and invasion of other lands is greatly frowned upon. If only the world had embraced the teachings of christ earlier which taught us to "do unto others as you want them to do to you", we would have achieved world peace long ago and an ideology like islam will have no place in the modern world.
this is the thing I don't like about theist most especially Christians. they are the only ones that are right and others are wrong. Go through the teachings of Islam and you will discover that is far better than Christianity.

Money Rituals
You argue endlessly that blood money is real. Name the world billionaires that did money rituals

Have you seen how poor and wretched those who even sell the human parts are? Why sell a human head for as cheap as N5,000 when that head has potential of vomiting Millions or even Billions? At least you have done a terrible thing by killing a fellow human, the least you can do is to at least sell the parts for more reasonable amount of money. Does this not tell you it's all a scam?

Ok ok, you have Heard stories of people turning to snake in hotel when they went to meet an "Alhaji" and the Alhaji used the lady for money rituals and she turned to a big snake with Human head. Such stories are only seen on cheap blogs and magazines, you don't see such an Epic story on Channels TV or AIT or BBC. You only Hear how many have you seen ? Have you ever seen evidence of people vomitting money as portrayed in Nollywood movies?

someone could be traffiking drugs and because he keeps his business secret rumors start to fly that such a person did "Blood money"

How more stuupid can people be?

Those Ritualists are only taking advantage of peoples ignorance. I will open a thread to fully discuss this scam later as I have a first hand experience.

Church Miracles

Now this is the most unfortunate one.
We can spend all year discussing this fraud called church miracles but I will make it simple.

In what situation does one need God's intervention and a miracle?
Definitely in situations where man is helpless.

Do I need prayers to get a wife? NO
Do I need a miracle to get a Job? NO

A Real need of miracle is to see amputated limbs grow not headaches cured.

A real need of a miracle is to demand a beheaded man be resurrected not someone in coma coming back from coma.

Why are people praising God? Where is the miracle?
With millions people who get one part or the other amputated every year, why is it that we don't see at least ONE just ONE amputee's limbs growing back just once in 10years?

But every sunday around the world hundreds of millions of christians are sharing testimonies of God's miracles Yet NOT ONE amputee even just once in 10 years!

Satanists

Oh yeah, the most deluded of the bunch. They believe satan gives them everything instantly unlike God. Lol
They claim they interact with demons
They claim they can travel out of their bodies.

YET no satanist can travel out of his body and go and deliver a message to another satanist just the way we pick up our phones and call friends to discuss. Or should we put it to the test? I give you a message and you use your astral projection to go and deliver the message accurately?
Not possible!
So why are there people who believe this Nonsense?
Human stupidity!

African Bullet proof!
It's astonishing that almost 99% of Nigerians believe this magic exists. Even highly supposedly educated intellectuals.
Wait a minute.
Do you know that we don't even have good herbalists in this generation compared to 100years ago when our forefathers were full blooded traditionalists?

When our local warriors where 100% soaked in Charms and voodoo?

Go back 100 years in african history and you will see how the Europeans came to Africa with their guns and razed down many of our villages and ancient cities including the Great Benin kingdom.

Where was the bullet proof charm? Did any European run back to Europe to tell tales of a people that bullet and knives could not penetrate?

If they experience such, trust me it would be part of the history we would be reading today.

Why are Governments spending Billions of Dollars to buy and develop bullet proof vests and vehicles?

Common sense is indeed not common.
But I have seen an Hausa man stabbing his self with dagger and it didn't penetrate his skin. can you explain this please?
