This is quite easy just clean the filter of the vtec solenoid behind the engine for starters. If problem persists (symptoms like your car in limp mode and can't rev past rpm 3000) then you might need to change the sensor of the vtec solenoid. But I've had this code multiple times and cleaning the screen helps

Better still, replace the gasket/filter on the mouth of the rocker arm

I have a few questions to ask so permit me if my write-up is a bit lengthy.
Recently bought an Acura MDX 05. car is clean. Not dints or anything.
First thing is noticed is rough idling with the VTM-4 light on. Check engine light was on so I scanned and got series of misfire codes ranging from Cyl 1-6 and random misfire codes.
The engine was checked and we discovered two nozzles totally blocked. Those were replaced and the remaining 4 serviced. The MAF, PCV, EGR and throttle body were cleaned. Car ran fine for a while until another set of codes came up. This time around all the Oxygen sensors 2up and 2down have heater circuit issues
Now my question is. Can 4 O2 sensors die simultaneously?
I'm getting terrible gas mileage.. around 5.3km/l or so..
I'm not convinced all 4 went bad at once..
I've posted the scan results.. if anyone can help with some insight

PS: in the morning or after a long parking. I can detect a faint smell of petrol around the car when I start it . it just hovers there for a while..

Good morning luvinhubby, I noticed a oil leakage on the floor this morning and when I checked, it was coming from the gearbox side, I took it to the mechanic and he said it's the oil seal. He said i might need to top the oil. This is why I'm scared, I asked him which oil he is going to use, he mentioned a brand name I don't really knw, I don't knw the oil used for the gear already because I bought it the car in January. I'm confused, please help.

I noticed the car was not moving as smoothly and just assumed it was maybe plugs or needed to service, After Servicing the car is when I insisted they check it and they found out My catalytic converter system was blocked and eventually one of the 3 was burnt (according to the mechanic). Options are to either ring the engine or buy another engine. All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The car had been unused for about 4 years by the original owner, I did a TOTAL service and replaced necessary parts in March of last year. I added this information to give the history of the car before I started driving it. So May also help in advice you guys give

Hello all, I need help .

My wife's Honda Accord 2007 ( Discussion Continues) has a nagging issue. The first thing I noticed was the car suddenly jerking and hesitating on top speed like two months ago, it hesitates,jerks ,then picks up. Also,sometimes when entering the house,because it's somehow hilly,the car would refuse to climb except you apply a lot more force to the acccelerator ,with this ,sometimes it climbs and sometimes,it still refuses, you would have to reverse, switch off the AC, put off the car ,then start again so one can climb. I got a mechanic who said he needed to clean the injector, he did and the problem seemed to stop.
After some time, the car would hesitate a lot of time in traffic, but doesn't get to stop, driving wasn't smooth,then shifting gears comes with a lot of jerking ( moving from Park to Reverse or to Drive), the jerking was almost scary. The mechanic who checked said it was throttle body, he replaced it and the jerking when shifting gears was addressed significantly but the car hesitation still continued, it behaves like the fuel supply gets cut off intermittently.

This is how the car behaves, it suddenly hesitates like it won't move, then suddenly forcefully surges forward and continues moving. This happens intermittently and is quite annoying.

The mechanic again said it was something that had to do with the transmission, he claimed he changed some parts, topped up the transmission oil, changed the filter etc. The car seemed to be okay when I drove for some kilometers then the same symptoms showed up again.

The car was scanned like 2 months ago when the symptoms started showing up and I have attached the scan results here. Someone,kindly advise on what I should do next .
