lonikit: get the point woman. Paul was so specific, he said in chrch alone. besides, wht u quoted is also in joelJoel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions
but he was specific abt church. So where should a woman prophesy? On the street? On the road? |

1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. Emphasis on says the LawOn that what law is Apostle Paul speaking of? It's definitely not Mosaic law It's definitely not the Law of Christ Then what law? Act 21:8-9 8 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
Apostle was a recipient of prophecies from 4 females. If Apostle Paul has truly said a woman must prophesy only to her husband then he shouldn't have been a recipient. |

Before scientists can classify an explanation to a phenomenon as a theory it must have had large volumes of undeniable evidence.....so yes, there's undeniable evidence that the universe is expanding. Please state the undeniable evidence for the big bang theory. |

JMAN05 For one who prophesies, a head covering is a sign of delegated authority. When men are absent, only females are in the service, men can delegate an exemplary woman to take the lead in prayer. She would have a head covering to perform that act. 1cor 11:1-5. The same 1st Cor 11:13-16 emphasis on verse 13 which says 13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Sir, explain the above verse. By the way you didn't answer my questions. Ist Timothy 2:11-12 didn't mention prophesy or not. Rather in verse 13 which says Then Adam was formed then Eve. The above connote husband and wife relationship. So answer my questions in that context. |

Desist from blasphemy. The criticism is to save your life. So arrogant. I'll let your insult slide. However, there are sketchy descriptions of certain creatures, angel-like, albeit, in the book of Revelation. Okayyyyy. just wanted to be sure. |

11 Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but she is to remain silent So you know how to quote scriptures. Let me join the argument. Hopefully you won't rain insult on me on this. In the same book of 1st Timothy 2:4 which says 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Is women included in this statement? In the same book of 1st Timothy 2:11-12 that you quoted which says 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. Now my questions : Sir, can a man exercise authority over someone's else wife? Sir, can a man delegate an authority to someone's else wife? Sir, can a man exercise authority over someone's daughter? Can a husband delegate authority to his wife? You can see I'm using Sir, there's no need for insult if you're sure of yourself. |

JMAN05: This shows you are just a beginner. The bible translation you are quoting from are a result of scholastic effort.
You understanding of the bible is quite low and you don't even accept help from scholars explanation. Scholars who came from you guys. My goodness! Will I open your head and input the understanding? You don't understand English "are", scholars who know Greek explained. You still didn't get it.
So you didn't see any bible reference both in my replies and the reference work I gave? You know how to lie and claim to receive a revelation?
You have demon giving you false revelations. If can lie that I ve not given any scriptural reference and you don't understand a simple bible phrase, it shows that that demon that inspires you is doing a great work to finish you.
Jeremiah spoke about people of your sort who speak falsehood in His name:
Jer 14:14
"Jehovah then said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or commanded them or spoken to them. A lying vision and a worthless divination and the deceit of their own heart is what they are prophesying to you." Na wa for you. Just to quote the Bible has turn to rains of insult. |

Seun: To be brutally frank, I haven't studied the Big Bang theory. Cosmology is boring to me. I accept it because I trust the scientific community that came up with the theory. It makes sense to trust the scientific community because their theories are the basis for the technologies we rely upon. This trust is not absolute, because I know that scientists do make mistakes, but they are infinitely more trustworthy.
No. Faith is when you just choose to believe something, and to disregard any evidence/fact that contradicts what you have chosen to believe. Acceptance based on trust. Actually Doctrine in my church are the teaching of CHRIST through the apostles. Not laws of men.
CHRIST was born., he lived taught and died to set me free he rose again and is sitted at the right hand of the Father, these are Doctrine and they are not laws of men.
If the doctrines in your church are all laws of men then you need to get out of that church. Okayyyyy. You can deceive everyone but can't deceive yourself. While you're at it, ensure to read the history of your church. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Questions For Atheists by luvmijeje(f): 1:33pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Seun: Most scientists believe that the big bang was the beginning of time. If so, then there was never a time when nothing existed. If so, the question of what happened before the big bang is a nonsense quesion, like asking for the square root of -1, or the letter that comes before A.
This is called abiogenesis. Scientists have been able to demonstrate that many of the complex chemicals that make up living things can arise spontaneously in the kind of environment that existed around the time that life started. But they don't know exactly how the first living thing came to be. It must have been an extremely rare and unlikely event, but it only had to happen once during a period of billions of years. People are rarely struck by lightning, but you wouldn't be surprised to learn that one person out of 1.2 billion Africans was struck by lightning once.
There was never a change from animals to man, because we are animals. We are apes. We are hairless, like elephants and chimps. We are highly intelligent, like killer whales and dolphins. We utterly dominate the other animals because our ancestors found themselves in a unique environment where those who possessed bigger brains were more likely to reproduce than those who were stronger and faster, but dumber. Seun, so you believe in big bang theory. Oya come and answer these simple questions. Where those scientist there when big bang occurred? If not, what evidence do they have? Have you tried experimenting this in your room I.e have you make any attempt to make something out of nothing? If yes, please explain. Seun do not run from my questions. I still have more questions to ask o. |

“The election of Your Beatitude comes at the time of a delicate situation for the venerable Greco-Melkite Church and when many Christian communities in the Middle East are called to bear witness in a special way to their faith in the dead and risen Christ,” Immediately I saw the word beautitude, I just have to google it and this is what I discovered: These "modern Beatitudes" were proposed by Pope Francis during his visit to Sweden on All Saints Day 2016:[17]
"Blessed are those who remain faithful while enduring evils inflicted on them by others and forgive them from their heart." "Blessed are those who look into the eyes of the abandoned and marginalized and show them their closeness." "Blessed are those who see God in every person and strive to make others also discover him." "Blessed are those who protect and care for our common home." "Blessed are those who renounce their own comfort in order to help others." "Blessed are those who pray and work for full communion between Christians. My goodness! The Pope is attempting to rewrite the Bible. Who the heck is he? |

Ezekiel 8:14-17 says
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
This was prophet Ezekiel being shown the vision of what's happening underneath God's house.
What's my point... .. .. no man is a saint. No man has the right to pronounced any man a saint. Act 10:42 says
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained by God to be the Judge of living and dead.
The church via the Pope are playing the role of Christ.
Wow! I just got a revelation and I'm reluctance to say it. The Church is acting out the role of an anti-christ. Wow. |
