True Story..


I was like 12 or 14 at the time. I grew up in a very religious home. Pops was a Pastor (Not the church owner just one of the junior pastor that only controlled a house fellowship). I came from a home where we all woke up early to have morning devotion and everybody had their day to read an entire chapter and preach it to the whole house before school or breakfast. By the time I was in SS1, I had covered the entire Bible at least twice. All these things put together and I found myself as a Born again Christian.

These things influenced me so much I was preaching to everyone, everywhere. In fact I was really good at it that I even started preaching at school morning devotion. My nickname became Pastor. So seeing how I was all into the Christian Game, Pops decided I should get baptised. So I was enrolled in the Baptism class. Attended the duration, wrote and aced the test and on the day of the water Baptism, the whole class was taken down to a river side all dressed in white and dipped in the water.. Yeah! Madcow was semi-official.. One more baptism and I was good to go.

Holy Ghost Baptism required another class that lasted a week and at the weekend, we were all gathered in a room for the Holy Spirit Baptism. On the fateful day, the instructions were that we were to come fasting 2 days before (12 hours fast) pray fervently until the spirit came down. That we would all be overtaken by the spirit and that we would just loose control.

The Spirit Baptism started like around 10am on that Sarturday. No long talk just prayers.. I have never prayed that long and hard before in my life. 1 hour into the prayers and I had run out of things to say.. But I just kept praying. Guys, by 1 am we were still praying without break. I was by this time struggling to keep up as I wondered WTF are these guys still saying to God for 3 hours. I was tired, hungry, weak and almlst delusional. Next thing Sister Rebecca (not her real name) just started talking in some funny Language. Rebbebebebebe, Rabababababa,.. The Biitch was rolling on the floor acting like a crackhead who just overdosed on cheap meth. The Pastor had started saying yes!! The Spirit has finally arrived. It seemed like it was the sign for all to enter Gear 5.. Bro Alfhonsus (again not his real name) went off o his own gibberish rants Toytatatatatatataya Hyundaidaidaidaidai.. Wow! I felt this shiit just got real yo! The Holy Spirit just entered the building. By this time, they were taking names of those who had started acting like this. I guess those were the ones that were now confirmed to th spirit filled.

So spurred by everyone around now speaking in tongues one after the other, I pushed my tired body on and stařted praying even harder. Long story short. 30mins after Sister Rebecca kicked off this weird behaviour and speaking in tongues shiit, almost everyone in the room was doing the same except me. You couldn't understand a single word anybody on the room was saying.. It was just [/i]Kikikkikikikikiiii Bobobobobobo rararararaarara panapanapanapanapana I really didn't want to fake it, but after more than 4 hours of praying, it was clear to me that the Holy Spirit was not going to possess me. And mind You, I was actually a Born again. I was not sinning at all.. I had stopped stealing my mother's money, lying, taking meat from the pot, broke away from my squad in school and all that shiit. Now seeing as the whole room was now acting some type of way except me, I didn't want to be seen as the Biitchass in the room so I just started talking rubbish and shaking like a tambourine..

Seeing as I was the last to be possessed by the Holy spirit, the prayers finally ended, we were all congratulated on our Baptism and dismissed.

As soon as I left the building, I backslided and I have never looked back. The Holy Spirit tried to embarrass a Nigga and I don't take that shiit lightly.

Speaking in tongue is not the only manifestation of the Holy Spirit. It's a misconception that you must speak in tongue. It's a beautiful gift that you can desire and be given. What do I mean? Mark 16:17-18 Jesus said

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Do we as believers manifest all this signs? If I manifest only 1 does that make me an unbeliever?

What's my point? Speaking in tongue is an important gift but it's not a must and it must not be forced.

Just 30 minutes ago, the Holy Spirit said to me that I'm sharing part of my journey to His people. I don't why He wants me to share it but I've realized in my short journey with God, you may never get to know why unless you first obey. And if He wants you to know, you will know.

October 2017

As at the beginning of of this month, I was still heading a department in a mobile payment service organization. But Sir and Ma, I wasn't happy. This has been the story throughout my life. I was always feeling restless. I knew something was missing but I don't what.

Then something happened in the middle of this month that makes me to cry and pray to God for the first time in three years. As at this point, it has been three years that I was committed to a Church last. I was tired of church. I was tired of praying. In a year, I may go to church at maximum 4 times.

Then something happened that sent me into the hands of God in my working place. It makes me cry to Him. Then, for the first time in my life I heard His voice telling me to resign(I didn't know it was God at that time). He said if I don't resign, He won't be able to do something bigger. In my human way of thinking, I thought he meant a bigger job with a bigger pay that will bring happiness.

November 2017

I've resigned and I was hoping for that bigger job. Then a family friend came to invite me to their church. The name of the church is Baptist(for a personal reason I won't name the Baptist). When I saw the pamphlet, I was just saying it my mind tall this archaic church, that I'm not going o.

The day the programme was about to start, I heard His voice again saying you're going. So I went.

Sir and Ma, when I stepped in into the church, it was like heaven opened over me. I finally discovered what was missing in my life. The peace of God. It's not only I that observed it, the church pastor also observed it. I saw the Pastor staring at me, I thought it was because I was a new member but God later revealed the reason behind it to me. But I don't want to divert. That will be a thread on it's own.

January 2018

In the beginning of every year, the church always have a 7days programme. The year's theme was the 'The Holy Spirit'.

From the first day, things started changing for me spiritually. But The Holy Spirit wants me to share one aspect with you which is the crypter.

During the 7days programme when I'm on my own and doing my personal devotion (I do it 3 times in a day.) I noticed when l'm lying down on the floor worshipping Him, I will eating from the the floor as though a food is in front of me and I couldn't stop myself. I did it for several months and I didn't know when I stopped. But God later revealed what it means and He want me to share it with you.

I was told by God that I'm eating from His table and these are the things that I'm eating from His table:
The table : The Holy Spirit
Fish : Fishers of men
Bread : strength and provision for what he has place in my hands
Pencil: No man can change what He has written about me.

This was my first dream after the programme. As I earlier said on another thread, I don't remember my dreams before this talkless of interpreting it.

My question to God:

If the 10 horns and Pope Francis to some degree got their power from pope Paul, why is there a conflict between them?

I was taken to revelation 17:16-17

Why are they called kings who reigned 1hr with the Beast from the sea.

He said, they are called kings because they have power to speak against evil but their selfish ambition force them to keep quiet.
