smiley Happy new year guys,

Uber reacted to one of my videos and have started tracking refered drivers on driver's dash board. This is one way uber drivers make extra money in other countries and I was surprise it has been stopped in Nigeria despite the growing competition in the ridesharing industry.

Bolt/Taxify on the other hand do not communicate with drivers expect dey want to communicate promotions or deactivate drivers I'll also do a video addressing this and I hope they see it.

We drivers have a lot of concern and the only way these rideshare app company can see it is if we communicate on a global platform like YouTube.

So bottom line, guys this is an active forum with 100s if not 1000s of followers.

Please guys encourage my work by subscribing to my channel, comment and recommend topics you want us to take globally so the world can see us.

Screen shot of the refered driver tracking.

Uber is yet to pay the referral bonus though but once they do I'll update the house.

On the other hand do you know Uber pays drivers for signing up in most countries. Let's make our voice heard.

See video I talked about quitting Uber.

EOD have not worked for any A, B, C, D on this thread. And may not work for him.

I remember someone here that started the hustle with Toyota Highlander. But we don't hear from him again.
The mistake one can make is not attaching a side hustle to ridesharing business

Good day Elders in the house,
I've been a silent dedicated follower of this thread for almost a year now, I've finally decided to put my foot down and start this hustle come January.
The restraint I have presently is capital to start, I can only afford a maximum of 600k as starting capital which I've saved up for sometime, and with that I have two open offers of naija used cars

1. Honda Accord (E. O. D) years: 2003 & 2004 between 450 - 600k

2. Kia Cerato 2008 between 450 - 500k

Please advice me on what step to take, as I prefer to be an owner driver or partner.

Please anyone with an offer of cars for sale falling within the price range that is also usable for the hustle, please give me heads up

Well I cant exactly give advice which of the vehicles to go for it all comes down to your personality, I personally prefer a feel of luxury especially interior and the Honda offers leather interior and a more executive feel.

Good attempt. If I assume that you used 45 liters for this trip, I may be wrong or right but that outs your consumption at about 10 liters per kilometer. Not bad.
10liters Per km that is not right

Shipped 03 corrolla is your best bet for ehailing.
I have a different view though, the hypertension that comes with owing a Corolla is just too much now, high target for vandals and car snatchers.

I can park my car in some hood a Corolla user cant and I go sleep with rest of mind. Try that with Corolla if nor be brain box go miss the entire car can go missing

I recently went on a road trip with my family for a wedding in benin with my C320 4matic.

So I decided to pay close attention to my fuel consumption.

I drove from Asaba about 8km from onitsha on full tank. With passengers and a loaded boot.

See fuel gauge [image].

What do you guys think of the fuel consumption?

How to prevent back pain from driving.

We spend quite a while on the wheels, I must say it's not an easy task. Why we are at it please let's take our health as first priority. Because we need to be in good health to enjoy our hustle. Peace

HealthHow To Prevent Back Pain When Driving by Luxurydriverng(op):
How to prevent back pain when driving

For anyone who spends a fair amount of time driving each day – whether that’s for a living or a long commute – there are practical steps you can take to prevent back pain and damage.

Here are Jan’s top tips for drivers:

1) Adjust your back rest so that it makes contact with your back from your bottom to your shoulders, about 100 to 110 degrees. Reclining too far back will make you strain your head and neck forward.

2) Move the steering wheel up or down to the most comfortable position and distance from your body. Varying your hand position when you are driving can also help to relieve joints and improve circulation.

3) Slide your seat forwards or back so that your elbows are 90 degrees or slightly more when your hands are at the 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock position on the wheel

4) Position your bottom all the way to the back of the seat to support the natural ‘S’ shaped curvature of the spine, and adjust your seat so that it supports the full length of your thighs. Avoid any pressure behind your knees as this can reduce your circulation.

5) Adjust your headrest so that the mid-portion of the back of your head meets the middle of the cushion when you rest your head back

6) Position your mirrors so that you can easily see all around without straining your back or neck.

7) Take regular breaks. “All drivers should aim to have a break every two to three hours, so that you can move your back, hips and knees. Even a few minutes of walking or stretching will improve your concentration and make the rest of your journey more comfortable.”

cool If your job also involves lifting items in and out of your vehicle, ensure your lower back is kept straight and that you bend from your knees. This will reduce the strain on your back. Your back is very vulnerable when you lift incorrectly, especially after you’ve been static for a long period of time.
