Abachas government was one of the best Nigeria ever had followed by IBB I beleive Tinubu is d worst leader ever. Other leaders steal when they are in power and leave. Tinubu owns Lagos and has put in such a mechanism never before seen in Nigeria such that even his Grand Children would still reap on a daily basis from the different machinations he has all over the city called Lagos. Obasanjo for example may die and loose his influence and it will affect his farm. If tinubu dies, people would still lodge at oriental hotel, pay toll fees all across lagos, ride LAGBUS and other BRT busses, who knows maybe alpha beta will still colllect 25% of lagos taxes, you will still read Nations newspaper, fly with firstnation airlines, buy fuel from oando, watch TVC and listen to Radio Continental, phony land acquisitions along the Lekki-Ajah-Epe axis(You will probably buy land from one of his grand children in d future),shop at the ikeja city mall and the adeniran ogunsanya mall and so on and so forth. Unless Lagos state is won by another party or a radical man comes from APC and changes all this, Tinubu would still be the best looter nigeria ever had and that makes him a bad leader Who sells state property to private investors to build a mall next to the states' seat of power if he doesn't have a stake in it ? |
I am not convinced about the 23.9 percent figure. the way unemployment rates are calculated i believe is number of unemployed/total labour force * 100 for percentage. labor force population is generally defined as all men and women aged 15–64 if 40 million are unemployed and we assume the total labour force is everyone over the age of 15 rather than the entire population of nigeria. i am sure it would be more like 70 percent unemployment rate rather than the 23.9 percent they got by dividing 40 million by 167 million and multiplying the result by 100. The sample population used to generate the 23.9% isnt valid. |
I don't just get this. The government should pull out of these universities and let them run themselves. The government should only endow universities that produce research that touches lives. The money being wasted on d tissue paper nigerian uni education is just sad. On the other hand, the real sector(Primary and Secondary) that requires money is being ignored. There are more private primary and secondary schools than govt and no one is monitoring them. When last did d govt open a primary or secondary school ? Producing half baked graduates doesn't start at d unis but rather at d primary and secondary school level. Every child should have QUALITY primary and secondary education. That's a given. Not everyone would go to uni but every one must have quality primary and secondary education. That's d bedrock of everything else. NUT should be on strike not this useless ASSU. Less I forget the failure rates of Waec and neco and jamb and whatever happened to common entrance exam |
I work with a regulatory agency under the Ministry of Aviation in Lagos I entered as a Level 9 cos I have a masters degree The job security is awesome. Its hard for u to get fired. The job also permits be to do some side businesses as I actually have a life rather than a rigid job structure. I'm not sure if this is uniform across all federal agencies but that's how it is where I work. Federal agencies are not as bad as people paint it. Trust me. I'm in d system and I know. Relocating to abuja might be difficult for u but maybe u can be redeployed to lagos in d future. In summary, look beyond d salary. There's much more to working in a federal agency or ministry. |
I won't dwell on the music but the business part. Since they split, Mavin released the solar plexus album, d'prince released his album and same with tiwa. Don jazzy also got the loya milk endorsment. D'banj on the other hand: Performed the official nations cup song in d final and wore an ndani jacket(surely he was paid for that) Bank of Industry ambassador Hennessy Artistry Artist of the year 2013 Released the DKM album Organized the DKM concert where he brought 2Chainz Organzied that "Moses Israelite" concert in december I think at Eko Atlantic D'banj is also being rumoured to have signed an endorsment deal with etisalat worth 250million Naira. Not to mention the private and public shows that he attends in naija and beyond Its all about the cash. D'banj has fared way way way way better since the break up of mo hits unless ofcourse u like loya milk. |
