My comments so far have been about living above one's means. I have an idea how much it cost to rent an apartment in Lagos. What I don't understand is why a Cashier who has been receiving salaries and tips from customers would want her customer to pay her rent valued at N200k.

How is she going to renew next year's rent since we are assuming she's with no savings from her previous salaries. Her salary and tips are so poor she can't afford her rent, yet wants to get a place she certainly can't afford in subsequent years.

Don't shy away from the truth. We all know how these things work. Last last, one alhaji would foot her bills.

You people are not just making sense here. Did it occur to you that this lady may be a squatter or sharing with someone else and now may want to rent hers. To rent a single room now in lag will cost almost that much with all the add ons. I don't agree with you. The herdsmen have perpetrated killings on virtually all major tribes in the country. It is not as if the killings are targeted at a particular ethnicity or religion. I refuse to buy that. They have killed, Christians, Muslims, Igbos, Hausas,Yorubas and some other tribes. Some of their modus operandi might suggest ethnic cleansing as you say but the grand plan is not in that direction.

You can believe whatever you wish but it cant change the truth. You may think this is about the herders and the farmers but it's way beyond that.
