.....bla bla bla says the other bigot in the room
lol and how am I a bigot? Stop projecting your hate. You have done nothing but lie and spread nonsense on this thread about atheism and humanism. Two things you know nothing about. |
deols: LagosShia's initial reply is superb. I see no reason to comment further. ![]() |
LagosShia: ^MVS. Muslim Victim Syndrome. When debunked into a corner, cry that the opponent is jobless, useless and a pretender that is only out to attack your religion. You give a foolish answer and expect me to swallow it like sheep? |
I never implied that Ayn Rand was a humanist, my point was that Ayn Rand's position is the kind of stance that should logically follow from an atheist worldview. All I am saying is that humanism does not logically follow from an atheist standpoint. So far, none of you has shown me a logical link. @Martian, I am not trying to paint secular humanism in a bad light. I am just saying that it doesn't follow from an atheistic premise so I call it blind faith. Perhaps you can solve this puzzle for us by showing us this logical link. Once you can do that, there'll be no need to argue further
You are a bigot. You hold bigoted views towards atheism. You are sick. Ayn Rand? You realise that as smart as Ayn Rand was, she was also a bit crazy. If you watch American politics, you would realise that it is ironically Capitalist, God-fearing conservatives that like Ayn Rand not atheists. |
LagosShia: 1.) in Islam Muhammad (sa) was sent to all mankind,so that at least to some extent should be enough to answer the question. What a foolish answer. How was Muhammad sent to all mankind? How is your foolish claim not the same as the christians and other religion that claim that their central prophet was for all mankind? Muhammad was an illiterate who had problems with the Jews. Eve if he was sent to all mankind were are the West African prophets? were Africans too foolish for Allah? LagosShia: 2.) the middle eastern region was chosen as the place to complete and seal the divine message. How convenient for middle eastern people. What does that say about the omnipresence of Allah? Choosing one piece of land to spread his message all around the world instead of appearing to everyone in different lands. The problem still remains. There were other sophisticated civilizations for Allah to hose, why Arabs and the Jews only? Black or chinese not good? LagosShia: 3.) we are told that God initially chose the israelites (from whom jews descended and also some arabs) to carry on the divine mission in worshiping God.How does this answer the questions of no prophets from West Africa or Asia or the Americas LagosShia: 4.) the Quran does mention for instance the story of Luqman.he was guided and enlightened by God.the same goes about Zhul-Qarnain.now the issue of identifying who Zhul-Qarnain is,can best serve to answer your question.Zhul-Qarnain is someone the arabians were not familiar with but the Jews were.thus the jews knew him but the arabians did not.later on when trying to relate who Zhul-Qarnain was,the arabians were lost because they did not know him.ofcourse, thanks to knowledge we now can relate Zhul-Qarnain to Cyrus.More blabbing about Jews and Arabs. Surely, even you can not talk of other people in your religions history? LagosShia: 5.) Islam teaches us that there are 124000 prophets sent to all of mankind.these prophets were teachers who came to educate and purify the souls of their communities.so no matter how small or insignificant a nation was they had someone sent to them so proof is placed over them.ofcourse over time those messages could have been lost or corrupted with myths and fairytales, and thus you have a comprehensive seal to the divine messages with the revelation of the Quran and the prophethood of Muhammad (sa). You have proven that the Quran lies. What messenger went to south america where islam and judaism are almost non-existent? At the time of islam many nations or geographical areas were not even accessed or found by the outside world LagosShia: 6.) the greatest impact of the divine message through the israelites and later the arabians was centered around the middle east.that region experienced a lot of happenings.more nonsense about Arabs and Jews. You are really starting to sound like a slave rather than a West African LagosShia: 7.) if you examine the hindu, buddhist and zoroastrian religions, you find that the message in their scriptures does point to Tawheed which is the central doctrine of the Quran and the Bible.so many Islamic scholars do not rule the possibility of these religious figures to have being prophets sent by God Almighty to those nations.Lies. You must be really brainwashed to even believe that hinduism or bhuddism borrowsfrom the Quran when they have a far different teaching than islam and both are older than islam. Unless islam has an atheistic or pluralistic view of God,then you are talking nonsense. LagosShia: 8.) people best relate with their environment.when the arabians are taught about nations and men who are close to their backyard, they relate to the story better.the Quran is not an historical text.it is more than that.the Quran/Islam came to reform the previous revelations/religions (i.e. judaism and christianity).so if you want to start given stories about people in south america (people in the middle east then did not even know about south america),it is like telling us stories about Jupiter.such amounts to people perceiving the stories as fairytales.People relate best with their environment. Why then do Asians not have an Asian prophet in Islam? LagosShia: 9.) this is what the Quran says:You force the Quran to be truth. Which messengers did they send to South America? |
frosbel: The thread was an invitation to Christians to discuss an important issue. You sound like a woman on PMS ![]() Anyways, isnt the issue about unbelievers? Its even in the topic. ![]() |
frosbel: No one is .Did you write the thread or are you summoning some imaginary powers? As for forcing your morality on someone, explain why you christians are fighting against condoms? Explain why christians were fighting against evolution? Explain why you christians want morning prayers in public schools when there is separation of church and state? |
frosbel: But they choose to believe in 'imaginary' gods, that is their problem, or are you not happy with your life, that you have to attack others who chose to live their's in a particular fashion !They also choose to impose their imaginary morality from their imaginary Gods on us. |
Avicenna: Generalizations. Wanted to modify after I post. U too fast, man.modified ![]() |
Avicenna: Ofcourse. They are superior to the racists in their mind. So, they ignore them. Defense mechanisms really.Maclatunji fits your description. He states that he has no atheist friend and he doesnt need one. He says it proudly. I wont be surprised if he is also quite bigoted towards white westerners who are irreleigious |
Avicenna: Confucius was without religion. A man in a perfect position to start his own religion. Buddha's religion ignored gods. Shinto is extremely adaptive. They call their gods mythical. Some arabs are racist some are not. |
Avicenna: Ofcourse. They are superior to the racists in their mind. So, they ignore them. Defense mechanisms really.lmao |
The first people on earth were from Africa. That, we know very well. Why is it that the Allah focused on the Middle East? Why are there only Jewish, Arab or Middle eastern prophets in the Quran? |
Avicenna: The thing is, logicboy, most average Nigerians do not know what racism means. Seriously.Agreed. I myslef did not understand racism till I left Naija However, muslims like Tbaba and co who live in America are quite silent on racism themselves. |
LagosShia: there are many verses even mentioning specific groups like christians and jews who do not believe and telling them God will judge between them all.okay ![]() |
MacDaddy01: Question is why all religions resemble the people from which it originates? Is it that man created God? |
tbaba1234: ^I have given you the answer... check ibn kathir tafsir for moreAllah should save us from the hell he prepared in the first place? I wonder how you would react if a salesman came to your door to tell you that he has a product that would save you from mental illness. However, the mental illness virus was designed by him and if you dont believe him/the product, you will suffer the mental illness |
LagosShia: MacMommy,Different levels of hell? Is that from the Hadith written by LagosShia? ![]() You are now copying christian mythology- Dante's inferno! Even christians have admitted that the bible doesnt specify any levels of hell. You are talking nonsense again. There is hell and the question is if it is eternal. Yes or no? You cant give a direct answer. Please, dont abrogate the Quran. |
tbaba1234: ^ The bad?Really? Didnt you tell me to accept that the Quran says that a non-muslim can not marry a muslim woman? Is that perfect? lmao Asper this question, you'll notice that Sweetnecta is perambulating around the issue. I put up 2 quranic verse the sum up my point and she is giving theories that have no grounds in reality or the quran. -That there is one hell for killers and another for disbelievers ![]() |
Ishilove: Hm, if you perceive my post as an 'engagement', then you must be slower than i thought. Smhlmao...nice try |
^^^Lol......muslims should lead by example. If you want me to become a muslim, you have to be honest. Tbaba is the only guy I respect on this forum because he says the good and bad about Islam....although of late, he has been cowardly and avoiding debates. At least, Sweetnecta explained the contradiction to her best of knowledge. |
Sweetnecta: intentionally killing a believer [obviously the believer was wrongly cut down]. The condition for remaining in hell is that Allah becomes Angry and cursed the killer who intentionally killed a believer. One will expect that whoever God is Angry with, curses from Him and great punishment can be expected. Now Allah does not say He will show anything on this killer but remaining Angry at him.Lol...the earth is going die when the sun explodes in a trillion years from now. The earth is not eternal. however, the Quran says that hell is eternal. How can Gpod have mercy by removing people from hell? Why would he put someone there in the first place? Do you know what it is to burn for a second? |
Jesus was walking along one day, when He came upon a group of people surrounding a lady of ill repute. It was obvious that the crowd was preparing to stone her, so Jesus made His now-famous statement, "Let the person who has no sin cast the first stone." The crowd was shamed and one by one began to turn away. All of a sudden, a lovely little woman made her way through the crowd. Finally getting to the front, she tossed a pebble towards the woman. Jesus looks over and says, "I really hate it when you do that, Mom |
Ishilove: Lol. You flatter yourself needlessly,Mac. How can i get angry over what a faceless user name in sheer ignorance blabs about my person?Keep lying. After, you will run to church to claim that you're a good christian |
frosbel: My super troll pal, you are still here ranting against everyone, ranting about everything and not making any sense as usual.lmao? Super troll? It was your pal that that started it. BTW are you a man or a woman? |
cyrexx: you don talk am finish, my brother.I like this comment very much. A very sound warning to the hypocrites |
Ishilove: Why,the very arroganceYou mad? Art thou angered? ![]() Everyone can see that you were the first to engage me. I wrote a comment on the mental slavery on this thread of christianity and you replied. Such a hypocrite. |
musKeeto: dont kmow why.. always thought u were yoruba.. maybe cus u reside in lagos..Yoruba? lol! No. |
musKeeto: hmm... what state?Calm down. Why the questions? |
musKeeto: Niger Delta? Wtf? Do u even read the news? :-Pyes. |
From watching the debate between Hamza Tzortis and Dan Baker, I realised that there was a question of hell's infinity. Dan Baker put together two different quotes from different Surahs, one saying that hell is forever and the other saying that hell will last as long as heaven and earth. Hamza could only perambulate around this point. 4;93 But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. 11;106-108 Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein so long for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break. |
