truthislight: ^^^^Nice one |
dude, you don't know what love means and that's a fact. To say otherwise would be dishonest of me. Your whining doesn't change anything
Whining? Did you mean to write "winning"? This is because you have lost the argument to me. You first tried to redefine "love" to meet your christian point of view and after that failed, you are now saying that I do not know about love. Epic fail. When you are in a debate, you dont go into a personal attack without evidence. How can you just say that I do notknow anything about love? Are you caliming that I hate my parents or that I respect and take care of? |
Sweetnecta: @MacDaddy01: To explain my golden rule, and using nigerian jingoism: When I toast a woman for wife she will hear me say to her "if you want me, you must be a muslim".In reality, there is no such thing as a mind. It is a function of the brain. No brain, no mind You are just contradicting yourself. Is hell eternal; yes or no? |
Elfen lied |
diluminati: E P I C! You too much. |
Okay. You are nt going to hell.
I love you too! |
It is because I am a christian that I am telling you the truth. If I didn't love you, I will not tell you the truth. lol
I am loving this thread. This will remain evidence that anony has no credibility when it comes to debate. He will twist logic and commonsense to abuse anything that is not christian.....even to the point declaring that his opponent doesnt know love and happily defending such an outrageous and slanderous claim. Shameless. |
@ Sweetnecta. Have you heard of the golden rule? "do unto others as you would want others to do unto you" If you allow muslim men to marry non-muslims, non-muslim men should marry muslims. But since you are brainwashed and your morality is twisted by religious dogma, you would not see the hypocrisy in your argument. Furthermore, you are debunking yourself. Is hell eternal or finite? Simple question. The Quran says both. You say God is permanent and absolute. Yet, there is no evidence for him |
omonori1: Why is there so much the in you??? |
toba: you guys should desist from fooling ur selves on the internet and get to the real world ![]() |
It was not an insult; you just don't know and the sad part is that you think you know but you don't know that you don't know.
How can you directly say that someone doesnt know love? You call yourself a christian? Smh. |
You don't know what love is
lol.....artful dodging and insults |
Okay! Point noted! Bt come, why waste ur time on sumtin that doesnt exist?
This question has been asked towards me so many times that I am tired of answering it. Yes, God does not exist and I wouldnt be wasting my time on him if theists/religious people did not constantly telll me that I am going to hell. The theists or religious people also make atheists talk about god for the following reasons -Telling atheists that God will punish them -Telling atheists that they are immoral just because they dont believe in God -Forcing laws on atheists |
Actually, you can tolerate without love. You don't necessarily need to love your boss but you tolerate him and his rudeness because he pays you at the end of the month. Love the sinner, hate the sin entails that I must go out of my way to do good for the sinner even to the point of dying for him. Mind you I still hate what he does (tolerance cannot give you that)
You cant tolerate without love. Simple. Tolerance is not submission. No one has the right to be rude to you. A hostile workplace is wrong. Your mistranslation of "love the sineer, hate the sin" is hilarious. Keep using Joagbaje's style of twisting scriptures. The quote is mostly used to refer to christians and homosexuals. It has nothing to do with sacrifice or dying for someone
You are assuming that human nature is love and peace. On the contrary, it isn't. Human nature is selfishness and pride. When a man makes the expression "I am only human" he often doesn't refer to his higher qualities. Secular humanism glosses over these things. A better world for humanity will not come from human nature. It must come from something beyond it.
Human nature is complex. We can love and we can hate. It is far more than selfishness and pride. We can ben proud and we can be humble. Man is both good and evil. Love and war are both in our nature. Humanists choose love because it is more productive than war.
On the contrary, it is because my mind is rational that it seeks patterns. An irrational mind will not seek patterns at all. love is not irrational. It is a reasoned decision. It is not a fleeting emotion, it is a commited action. Love is very different from merely taking a liking to something
Wrong. Your brain always chooses to find patterns. Always. Your brain is not rational. Not everthing in this world has a pattern. Finding patterns in things that do not have pattern is irrational. By default we are irrational. Love is naturally irrational. We have evolved socially to understand that love can be used rationally despite its nature. We differentiate beween different types of love- platonic, fatherly love, romantic etc. |
is dat ur point? Jail? Wel as of the time, there wasnt jail. U either die, get banished. Seriously, you are angry at God nt me.
Yes, no punishment for raping a virgin but we should stone people who dont keep the sabbath holy. You and your bible are immoral. Yaweh doesnt exist and therefore, I cant be angry at him. |
I have said it before when Logicboy aka Macdaddy says a painful truth, it is an insult and trolling because he is an atheist but when a muslim says the same thing or even worse, it is allowed. I was banned for 2days for a comment I made about muslims; "certain muslims are sheep/brainwashed" The above quote I made was for certain muslims. Reading more into the context of the comment on the thread- I was talking about LagosShia and his supporters. I was not talking about all muslims. However, we can look at LagosShia and see how he escapes banishment with worse comments; https://www.nairaland.com/571546/when-someone-insults-islam-how/2#11731448 LagosShia: in nigeria the two major religions are Islam and Christianity. |
no be smal thing o. Mac daddy, if u rape a girl u must marry her! What is wickdnes is dat?
May all your daughters and granddaughters be molested to get married. Why not put the molester in jail? eh? |
Mee234: Contridiction in the quran? If u mention this during one of their Bible bashing trend, your post will be hidden( i. e. if they dont ban u). I enjoy reading reply from lagoshia just that when ever he has a problem giving a straigth answer, he will turn abusive like the rest and accuse u of been insincere. But he is still far more reasonable than some of his muslem brodas.LMAO ![]() That is the tactic. When you are losing the debate on your religion, call the opponent a bigot, islamophobe and a liar |
LagosShia: ^My reply to you 3 days ago was hidden and I was banned by Maclatunji. The fact remains that you have not answered the basic question; Why are there no prophets from West Africa or Asia or the Americas? |
Johnchike: Macdaddy, you're confused.E dey pain you? |
Joagbaje: you couldnt have been before. its either you never was or you didnt even know what chrostianity is. but you sincerely thought you didYes because you were with me when I was a Christian. ode |
in the past nòn virgins dnt get husbands. So u must marry and provide for her. Exactly wat is the wickednes here? Again, i say use a beta example.
So rape is the way forward to solve the problem? |
How fallacious must Anony get in order to try and discredit humanism? ![]()
Love isn't really a necessity for peace, tolerance is enough for peace to exist.
You cant tolerate without love. "hate the sin, love the sinner" --- you should know that the only reason that you can tolerate my atheistic arguments is that you love me as a basic human being but the problem is that I am lost to God's word? ![]()
Love is expressed in humanity yes but so are a lot of other things. Why must secular humanism address what is both human and peaceful?
Humanism- for a better world for humanity. Explain how we get to a better world without love and peace. Explain why humanism should avoid something that is human nature and central to our goal?
If humanism must embrace love then it is willing to uphold something that it considers to not be rational.
Something that is naturally irrational can be used rationally. Your brain is not rational. It is hardwired to see patterns even though such patterns might not exist. Love is something that is inevitable and necessary and so we use it rationally.
It simply enters the realm of blind-faith i.e. accepting something in spite of it's better judgment.
![]() |
frosbel: Indeed Pal and yet he forgave those mockers and scoffers on the cross.Christianity doesnt allow you to think properly. If Jesus addressed his scoffers, he would not have been crucified. Jesus could have explained that he was not trying to be the King of the nation but only to preach the gospel of his father in heaven. Jesus accepted the accusations. Defend your faith. End of story |
Orikinla: I support the pastor 100%.Shut up! ![]() You comment highlights your inability to think critically! What is wrong with women wearing trousers? How is it your business what an adult woman wears? Furthermore, it is more likely that western women wear trousers seeing that they have formal wear in their culture and they are 10 times more official as they have more multinational companies compared to Nigeria. The same Britain that brought christianity to Nigeria do not even restrict what women wear to their churches. Only Nigerian Zealous bigots like Orikinla aka OriEpon that want to force morality on others. |
lolololololol. Quoting scriptures would not save you from reality and criticism. Jesus was nailed to the cross by scoffers and mockers. Food for thought. |
A student was sitting outside his university classroom, reading God's Word, when his atheistic professor walked by and happened to hear the student exclaim, "Wow! Praise the Lord!" Intrigued, the professor asked the student what had him so excited. "Well," the student replied, "I just read how God parted the waters of the Red Sea so the Hebrews could pass to safety." The professor calmly explained that in actuality there was a mistranslation and the Reed Sea where the crossing actually took place was, at that time of year, only about three inches deep. Confident he had handled the situation, the professor went to retrieve something from his office. Upon his return a minute or two later, he again passes the student as once more he loudly exclaims,"Wow! Praise the Lord!" Interested, the professor asks the student what is so fascinating this time. The student responds, "I just read how God drowned the entire Egyptian army in three inches of water!" |
It is within man's freewill yes, but within his nature no. For man to love, he must relinquish himself.
It is in man's nature to love or else you are a psychopath |
Fine, so if love is not rational, why then is it highly valued in a system that upholds rationality as paramount?
lololol. Mr. Anony and his disingenuous questions! Love is not rational but it is inevitable. It is necessary and it is the only bond by which we humans can live together in peace. Love is a part of humanity. Should humanism not address something that is both human and peaceful? |
Christiscoming: Will a Christian who refuses to Tithe be disqualified from entering Heaven - oh yes, watch out !!See this tithe fraud. Ole |
Use a better example, u'l find many. Whats the wickdnes there?
Epic fail. You are asking what it wicked about that law? Its simple; I am going to rape you, then if you try to complain, I will pay some dowry to your dad and then you are my wife for life. How does that sound? good or wicked? |
Joagbaje: no need for insult. l didnt quote from quoran. be humble to learnLearn what? Dude, I was a christian before |
