I hear everyone complaining here n there n blaming all their life misfortunes on the upcoming elections.
I was shocked yesterday at a restaurant wen we complained about the afang soup being tasteless and the woman said thats its because of this election period o,
Even those that failed jamb have been using the same excuse and one cant help but wonder what the relation is.

My main focus however is on businesses both small n large, is it the elections that is really hampering companies from recruiting and going on expenses cut measures such as downsizing n stuff, is the election creating a scarcity in the market of any sort making the cost of services of local businesses high or we are just being uninformed in our decision.

I know i dont have sense, alot of people know that, but in my nursery school,
I learnt about THEORY OF THE MULTIPLIER an injection of spending in an economy should create two effects, a Marginal propensity to Consume or to Save.

This is what i believe the election period should be doing, this politicians are spending fire of miliions on campaigns, even KOWA party alone should have spent upto 50 million naira lol. Let alone the Goons, APC n PDP, especially the latter.

Printers, broom sellers, wristband manufacturers, bag of rice sellers, and all type of companies that deal on branding and every other services utilized by this politicians should be loaded with cash at the moment, there shoyld be a propensity to consume.

The resturants, the barber shops,and all local businesses should be feeling this spending one way or the other, so why is the polity blaming every thing on the upcoming elections.

How has this election crippled business? I am too Dark for my liking, I want to be enLightened
