As late as 2018/2019 (NIPOST was my main delivery agent for almost 4 yrs), I do send items across Nigeria via NIPOST and 95% won't take more than 4days to deliver and I recorded only 1 missing item out of over a thousand sent packages (which occured at the last mile NIPOST office and was paid for by NIPOST). My AliExpress packages were 3 days timeline to my NE from Lagos. It was as good as that. There are bad eggs amongst the staff, no doubt but when we do the needful, they'll adjust.

The service was good, cheap and even faster than some private logistics despite no efficient tracking system (some NIPOST offices do provide tracking system).

No/low patronage is what is now affecting them aside the "sabotage from high up". They're generating establishment and without generation, what do you expect from the govt. - reduced allocation especially from Bubu's govt that places premium on capital over recurrent expenditure.

Yes, they were doing great at a point but something happened. And that's the problem, SOMETHING HAPPENED. it is not our problem that something happened. We are just reacting to what they have become. It is called feedback. We can't continue praising them based on what they were 4yrs ago. What are they now?

You are right. Some folks in power can be taking steps to sabotage Nipost and rubbish it so they can privatise it and go through the back door and buy it. We've seen it happen with lots of government owned ventures.

In my own opinion, Nipost are not as bad as most people say. Some of the hate they receive is in many cases, unwarranted. For Nipost here in a state in SS, their office is in a central part of the town — though old and without digital technology. You wouldn't get periodical notifications/emails after your item lands 9ja. The best guide is then the deadline for delivery of which AliExpress states up to 60 - 75 days most times. Thus, you'll watch that timer and before it goes down fully to 1 day, you should have received a call for your item within the timeframe.

Now, off to Speedaf, they're good... like really good. There is no way on AliExpress to explicitly choose Speedaf, but your best bet is to at least buy an item with Shipping fee attached (eg. AliExpress Standard Shipping). So, the item you really want/need has free shipping, you can order another item (maybe small) with AliExpress Standard Shipping at the same item.... Most likely, after it gets to 9ja and for delivery, they'll parcel them together and deliver to you

The question is, what is speedaf doing that Nipost can not do?
Nipost has the support of the government but speedaf doesn't.
Speedaf office is just a shop in my area, but PO is a complex/mall with extra massive land space.
Speedaf has only two lady staff and about 4 delivery guys, buy go to PO, you can count up to 40 staff and 39 of them doing absolutely nothing (gisting or sleeping).
So tell me what reason Nipost has to allow speedaf be better than them.

Aliexpress standard shipping is NOT always through speedaf. Some still come through Nighost. Just pray they don't remember you.

Like someone said above, you don't need a frame if yours is still okay. Its just easier when the screen comes with the frame, you just need to transfer your motherboard and other parts (if you're technically inclined).

In my own case, my priority was finding the screen with the best managaeable dot most affordable for me. I found one with No-Frame. The scary part of removing a screen from the frame is actually not accidentally breaking the screen but the screen is bad already, there isn't anything to the scared of anymore. The only thing is you migth not get a good water-seal like the one installed by the manufacturer with i actually don't bother myself with as i won't go swimming with my phone and would be careful not dropping it in water.

With the case of Dot(Dead Pixels) spreading, it was also a concern for me and i had to check online forums, Quora, etc on previous questions based on that and i picked some points; Most answers said it wouldn't spread because each pixel is powered independently and the "black" ones stopped getting power and that "it could..." if the spot is caused by a sharp object on the screen and there's a crack above it. My preferred screen has no cracks but has dead pixels so i gave myself hope on that side .

I've not had any issues with Nipost myself, apart from their "under the table" behaviour which their staff exhibit (ie. asking for small payment). In all the cases, I'd get a call from them when my item is ready for pickup and I'll arrange a day & time I'll come to get it.

First, every single item that goes through them takes much longer time to arrive. And once it enters the hands of Nipost, tracking becomes useless. You have to be going to ask them if your item has arrived. Some actually DO NOT arrive. Yes, a lot of items get missing at Nipost. If you ask me why, na who I go ask? Their staff can be very rude and have zero customer care skills. And when your item finally gets to you, you must still pay to collect it.

I really tried my best to avoid sellers that ship with tracking numbers like LP0056***808572 and still fell into their den.
Upon say I used cainiao super economy global as my preferred shipping method.
I bet this is coming through post office and I have about 15 unregistered items from post office last year that never came and I didn't get refund for.

Let me share my experience and observations for people it might benefit. I have observed that if I buy all multiple of those small items that are normally shipped through economy, at a point in the shipping process, most of them will be combined as one item and the shipping method will be upgraded to Aliexpress standard shipping.
So when I want to buy those small items, I wait till I have many small items to buy (about 5 different items from different sellers), and then I will pay for them at once. They will all be combined into one parcel and shipped under aliexpress standard shipping.
That is the best way to avoid long shipping time seen in economy shipping.

You can actually find original American items like iphones on AE, but mostly as used or refurbished.

I did a little maths and realised you actually paid 791 per dollar.
Some of these apps pretend to be giving you cheaper dollar rates, but then they charge you funding fees. If you factor in those funding fee, you will realise you are actually paying much more than Klasha and Chipper.

I reached out to SoundPeats to switch to SingPost but they replied saying AE determines the shipping agent. To think that the package moved from China to Belgium to Netherlands only to disappear on its way to Lagos.

It seems there's a problem with soundpeats and posNL and nipost.

I just compared their rate with chipper and it is basically the same.
People complain of their liquidation rate, but even BDC don't the same price they buy. It is business and they have to make some gains.
Also Chipper is intoducing a 2k charge to issue dollar cards.
Spendwise has what they call funding charges when funding your dollar card and they don't even have an app. They are the ones you should be worried about, not klasha.
I have used all 3 and I stick to klasha for now.

I've given up on Klasha cos I couldn't complete the kyc. They were looking for proof of address which is strange to me. Telling me to show NEPA bill with my name clearly written on it. Omo I've changed apartments a couple of time and my current bill bears my landlord's name. It's frustrating. I've done a lot of kyc and I've never had to provide proof of address.
