Is there a way to confirm this?
How do I know the correct compressor for 2004 solara l4?
Can this problem be caused by a bad coil, or plug? Coz I noticed that the engine hesitates to raise even when in park and AC off. And when u press lower on d throttle, it suddenly raises to 3000 and above. Keeping it around 2000 is difficult.
I appreciate ur help.

My 2004 solara vibrates unbearably when AC is on and in gear but stationary. Rpm is about 700-800. It smoothens out at 1000 and above. Any ideas?

Be careful with some of these recommendations before you damage your engine, or create problems for yourself.
1. Engine flushing is a questionable practice, many tech actually against it (http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/flushservices.html).
2. No one goes just to change oil filter; Oil filter change goes with oil replacement.
3. Again, no one goes changing fuel filter just to gain more power/performance, except there's a fuel-line related issue with the car.... The recommendation is to change fuel filter while changing fuel pump.

Fuel filter must be replaced periodically to prolong the life of your fuel pump, injectors and fuel pressure regulator. Bad fuel filter could cause a lot of problems including, poor throttle response, hesitation, spurting and hissing as the fuel pump does too much work to send the fuel pressure to the injectors/nuzzles therefore resulting in poor car performance. In worst cases the car may off occasionally while in hold ups.

I have a car that does not respond when the throttle is pressed lightly but on going almost halfway down on d throttle, it suddenly races the engine. This is noticed mostly when d car is stationary. Could it be the fuel filter as u said? The car is a solara 2004.

I see a car whose door will be difficult or even impossible to open after several years of use.

Considering the complex door mechanism, a slight distortion of d car shape will likely jam ceremonial door. Imagine the chances of this door refusing to open after an accident. Imagine if the car is about to burn.

CMR means Central Motor Registry. This is supposed to be a national database of cars and their owners, so I do not understand how you can say that it is not issued in all states. All cars in Nigeria are supposed to carry this, and it is supposed to be issued to a driver after investigations have shown you did not purchase a hot or stolen vehicle.

It is very important to have these vehicle documents before you hit the roads to avoid being harassed. Failure to produce these documents could also lead to your car being impounded.

See the list below:

1) A valid Driver’s License
2) Vehicle license
3) Insurance Certificate
4) Certificate of Road Worthiness.
5) CMR (Police report)
6) A Tinted permit if your vehicle has a tinted glass (Very important)

Another important thing to note is that the documents must be up to date. Don’t go around with expired or fake papers.

Over the years, I have observed that most of the technicians handling the electronic wheel alignment & balancing (computerised balancing and alignment) are either poorly trained or unable to effectively use those equipment.

I have tried most workshops here in Abuja with just about the same result of tilted steering & vibration at a certain speed.

However, I discovered a man that does his manually. It's been 4 years since I use him and never had a reason to replace tires due to uneven wear. For those in Abuja, the man's workshop is located close to living faith church, Durumi.

I'm yet to understand the boldened line. Why has Nigerians made a big deal out of showing plate number on public threads? Talking about plate number. Assuming I sell my car but retained my plate number, if I get another car, can I just screw my old plate number in or will I still process another number?
If I can use my old plate number, is it as simple as screwing it in or will I go through some process?
