A black man suddenly starts feeling like a white and goes for surgery, transracial. A man suddenly starts feeling like a woman, he doesn't stop at being gay, but he goes for surgery to actually become a "woman", transsexual. What are we gonna see next? Soon a man will start feeling like a goat and will have a surgery to change into a goat. Another will start feeling like a tree and also have a surgery to change into one.
ramdris: You guys need to stop this act of ridiculing our armed forces. While u r busy posting this pics, one of them is probably getting shot for u to sleep well. They need our support to boost their morale. Cheers!
I just don't understand these guys. First, that guy doesn't look like NA, and even if he is, what was he supposed to do, open fire on the zebra? Or act like Samson and tear it's mouth with his bare hands?
Mhizkel: Virginity is only seen as a taboo by hypocrites... It's something one needs to be proud of... But that doesn't mean a lady should tell every Dick and Harry who comes her way, that she is a virgin! At times, it's more safer keeping it to oneself!
77 likes and 7 shares, But seriously, who said virginity is a taboo? Also, I know you strongly need to insult those "taboo" dudes with a strong word, but 'hypocrites'? Are you sure that word has a place here? I also think 'safer' is enough in the last sentence. You are beautiful shaah.
abatically: Mean, the thing tire me. Our hottest temperature is around 38 degrees Celsius in the north, normal engine operating temperature is between 80-90 degrees. They are not even close.
Nigeria is not even close to the hottest country in the world and I'm sure those countries don't "tropicalise". What I'm sure we have in abundance is a bunch of mechanics who don't know shii about modern cars and have not the right tools. How many mechanics can boasts of a simple obdII scanner? Yet we want to work on cars that run on ICs. The main tools of an average naija mech is spanners to lose any nut standing in their way, a plier to yank off any do can't be loved and a hammer to.....you know what.

Sandydayz: You just came back from work and immediately u entered into your sitting room you saw rats in numbers in your sitting room eating most vital documents that you have used your life to acquire.. The 1st rat was eating your B.S.C certificate The 2nd rat was eating your National Youth Service Corps certificate. The 3rd was eating your Marriage certificate The 4th rat was eating your house documents The 5th rat was eating your Visa to travel abroad for a multi-billion project The 6th rat was eating your Bible
Please ,be honest with your reply.... Which rat will U kill first? 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th or 6th....
You don't need to kill any one. Just make a loud noise and all will run away, then get a good rat poison.
IdaraCHODB: Life is not sometimes YES or NO, sometimes you also get the answer MAYBE.
In the same vein, we have BLACK and WHITE and GREY.
I just wanted you all to have all the options before you decide that is to say the risk benefit analysis:
1. option 1 continue to use 20W50 2. option 2 switch to 5w20 and use the same engine 3. option 3 switch to 5w20 and use another engine 4. option 4 don't switch but use a different oil say 15w40 5. option 5 switch to 15w40 and use the same engine
Whatever you decide, I simply tried to provide further enlightenment so you take a well-thought out decision, whatever you decide, it all depends on factors that I may not fully appreciate or understand, all I know I simply shared information to aid the decision
If your engine does not show any signs of being worn, why replace it? I certainly wouldn't, especially given that the condition of the tokunbo engine may be hit or miss since its history cannot be absolutely verified
Thanks, bro. I appreciate your information. Like you said, I'm trying to make an informed decision. If you were in my shoes, considering the price of my engine, what would you do?
IdaraCHODB: Buy 5 times the 5w20 that you need and 5 separate oil filters, drain the 20w50, pour in the 5w20, drive the car with the new oil for 1000 miles and do an oil and filter change, repeat 4 more times with a new filter each time after clocking another 1000 miles between each oil change (if you are not paranoid) OR reduce the interval to 200 miles and do the oil change 5 times with a new filter each time you have clocked 200 miles (if you are paranoid) and you will not have any issues thereafter.
See the very last paragraph of my post above, please read it slowly and very carefully!
If I were the one doing the change, I would do the 200 miles option, and do the 200 miles every day for 5 days, and at the last oil change, I would revert to the factory recommended Oil Change Interval!
Unless it can be proved that you have a worn engine, in which case you may have to do 5w30 or 5w40
Let's assume I'm to use mobile 1, it goes for 12k per can. 5x12=60. So 60k just to change oil? That's enough for a new engine in my honda accord 2001 model, so you should understand if I say ur method is not reasonable for me.
Just cover your face with ur hands. They might enjoy the view, but noble will know who you are the next day. You won't be embarrassed the next day. Cover ur pucie and boobs all you like, you will still see ppl laff at u d next day.
SenR: Just received this lovely time piece from my girlfriend as my birthday gift.
It's comes with a 32GB internal memory, An HD Camera for both motion picture and video recording, audio recording and a charging usb cable used for charging the wrist watch.
See pics below....
What's the hullabaloo about a cheap imitation watch with fake chronograph? Look closely at the chronograph dials. It's a freaking inferior watch I can't have on my wrist. That watch should not be more than #1500. I'd better wear a cheap rubber digital wristwatch than wear that shii. The xx chromosome is inherently stingy, take it or leave it. Good girls only reciprocate 0.2% of what you spend on them. So if you spend #1000 on her, she will spend #2 on you. Spend #10k and she will spend #20. The stupid ones spend even less. Don't hate them for it, It's just their nature.

I did what I can rightly call the first 5w-20 change with filter and had to top up about 2l with much less than 1000m drive. What do you have to say about that? Is it a sign of worn engine? What are the signs of worn engine?
One established fact is this, "The thinner, the better". This fact has been proven beyond reasonable doubt. The question is how thin can one go, when coming from very long use of thick oil? 10w-40? Or right down to 5w-20?
I think this is a better option for me, the lighter the better, right? Cos I'm imagining oil as thick as 20w-50 passing through tiny holes in a filter meant for oil as light as 5w-20. It's definitely not gonna be easy on the oil pump.
Excerpt: More confusion occurs because people think in terms of the oil thinning when it gets hot. They think this thinning with heat is the problem with motor oil. It would be more correct to think that oil thickens when it cools to room temperature and THIS is the problem. In fact this is the problem. It is said that 90 percent of engine wear occurs at startup. If we are interested in engine longevity then we should concentrate our attention at reducing engine wear at startup.
Segzie8180: Don't worry by the time you will service 2nd or 3rd time it will normalise. The engine will have to adjust itself to the chemical components of the oil and make sure you use a quality filter because most of the filters in the market are not very good. Thanks to the flush it didn't damaged your engine because you have been using the mineral oil for a long time. Synthetic oil is the best because they give your engine optimum performance.
Yes, they ought to. But the op sounded like they are one and the same thing, completely inseparable. To that, I strongly disagree. Ppl fall in love with thieves but can't trust them with their money. Ppl fall in love with obvious runs girls, but obviously can't trust her with another with cash. It happens.
Macmilla: I'm not a mechanic and I probably don't know shii about cars, but simple physics will suffice here. All this talk about our temperature being too hot simply means that you guys don't know simple physics of thermostat function. Yes our temperature may be hotter, we have 32deg and they have 0deg, soo? The thermostat is designed to open at 82 degrees for instance, and whether you are heating from 32 or -3, everything eventually comes to 82 and voala!, the thermostat opens and maintains that temperature. The thermostat doesn't heat up ur engine nor does it cool it down, it only stops the cooling system to allow the engine get to 82deg or so. It's business is stopping you at 82deg, whether you are coming from 32 or -100 is not its business. Yanking it off simply means that the car can no longer maintain the engine temperature at 82 which is what the car needs to run efficiently. The implications of not running at that optimum temperature will be explained by the car gurus here.
I don't know how else to explain it.
The fan control is similar in function but separate. At least for my car, it's very simple. It is installed on the thermostat housing so that it receives the same temperature that the thermostat receives. Once it's heated to 82* for instance, it closes the circuit and the fan blows and things start cooling. If it's cooled below 82*, it breaks the circuit and fan stops. Just like switching on and off the light in ur room. I did a simple experiment to determine how the fan switch works and I was amazed at the result. I removed the switch on a battery powered torch light and connected the two wires to the wires on my fan switch which I brought out from the thermostat housing. I then placed the metalic tip of the switch in the flame from a gas cooker. After some seconds of heating, the torchlight came on. I removed the switch from the fire and after some seconds, it went off. I put it back in the fire and it came on again after several seconds, but this time, I didn't remove it. The light was on till I was scared I will spoil the switch and like b4, it went off after removing it from the fire. The above experiment simply means that the fan will come on once a particular temperature is reached and will stay on to cool the engine until the temperature comes down. And like in the above post, it will switch on whether you are coming from 32* or -50*. So it makes no sense keeping it on, running down ur battery and making the engine find it difficult to warm up.
