Most dangerous, yet you guys can't live without them. |
sandrahnaub:If you don't want things written where they are not supposed to be written, then you shouldn't mind if send you a pm so we talk in private, would you? |
sandrahnaub:Who cares what is written where? |
Chiam55:My dear, it's not a form of sleep apnoea. Sleep apnoea means cessation of breathing during sleep. When it occurs, it's momentary cos you should know what happens when you don't breath for a long time. The are two sets of muscles that never rest from birth to death. They are your respiratory muscles and your cardiac muscle. You can imagine how funny it sounds when someone says your body is asleep when your brain is awake. That's like the dumbest explanation of the year. The brain does a lot of things and we still don't understand most of them. Even asleep, your brain still does a lot of work even while resting. The brain can be largely divided into two parts, your conscious and subconscious. The conscious takes part of the activities you actually know you are doing and the things you think about before doing. The subconscious does the opposite. You ever see a lady plaiting hair without thinking of where to put the next finger yet she creates a nice hair very fast? When you touch a very hot object, do you think of dropping it or you drop it even before thinking? That's called reflex. And it's taken care of by your subconscious (cerebellum, medulla oblongata and the reflex arc). This part of the brain does not contribute to your memory. So why sleepwalking, your conscious brain (cerebrum) is still asleep but your subconscious is fully awake and they have a direct link to your muscles. But because your subconscious cannot think, it can only do things you have so much mastered that's why you only do the things you do a regular basis when sleepwalking. So the opposite can explain what happens in sleep paralysis. The cerebellum and medulla, which directly control your muscles are still asleep while your cerebrum is awake. That's why you can remember. |
Lala247:Wow! You cook beans? Would love to have some. |
Lala247:All works and no play, .... |
Darkrebel666:Rigor mortis? Kai! Many people be forming doctors for here. |
Twaci:You shouldn't be scared of constructive criticism. |
Chiam55:Sleep apnoea? Seriously? This comment of yours shows you have not the slightest idea on how the human body/brain works. |
shikshark:Now, that's ridiculous. |
Twaci:I don't understand. You won't mind or you would? Anyway, I'm sending you a pm, I hope you reply. |
Twaci:I just read your thread, it's a twaci world. I saw where you said "to read, criticise and like". I read, liked but was disappointed when I discovered I was unable to criticise. Where's the fun if I can't say what I think. I'm very sure you are not scared of criticism. |
sandrahnaub:About your profile picture, I guess you had to show us a close shot of your eyes so that we can see your contact lenses. They look cool, though not really attractive. |
Twaci:Lol. Well, that would explain the smartness, but I seriously doubt it. I think you are tall enough, heck, not as .... as Tyrion Lanister. Do you mind being friends with this "nice" guy? |
Twaci:You have what it takes to win. The only thing I'm yet to verify is your height. But I guess it's not needed here. You are beautiful and intelligent, the kind of person I love having as friend. |
Twaci:The contest is on Monday. I think you will win. |
Lala247:Yes love. You know I always say the truth. ![]() |
Macmilla:Damn Nairaland autoreplace. Situation is b¤ner, erectio. |
vinxce:How to know a jobless guy; he sits down to write a whole bunch of crap. How to know an ugly guy; he tries to find reasons to believe others are ugly too. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. One man's poison is another man's pizza. So op, as much as I know you copied this shit, suck it up and leave other ppl alone. |
Lala247:That awkward moment when you think you are hitting a guy with a bat or taser and he is busy getting a boner admiring you. |
Twaci:I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. I've been down that road before. It feels good, no doubt. You look cute, I must say. I'm fine. You? |
Twaci:I guess you got what you wanted, a compliment. Back then when we want ppl to praise us, we first say something awful about ourselves so that they will then check us out and give us compliments. Don't worry dear, we know what you just did. ![]() |
That awkward moment when you mentioned your crush and your crush replies with "who is this one?"
|
pijay:Please when exactly is the camp screening? |
Chukz1010:I'm a medical doctor and passing out October. I guess it's a no go for me. |
Babes be thinking they have big butts, when actually they have trunkal obesity. But that's none of my business.
|
lordyugo:Wow! You had 11days to correct yourself and this is what you came up with? What a waste. I'm not gonna do the job of your primary school teacher. But I'll just beg you to stop embarrassing yourself. Just learn how to use your apostrophe. |
Jeeez!!! How many pages and still counting? I can't keep up. All this drama just for ms Nairaland? Na waa oh. Una get mind o. Folks spending time to design banners for campaign, even animated ones. Folks crying foul and accusing everybody of being bias. I won't be surprised if someone has gone to consult a spiritualist probably for a talisman that will make her win. All for what? Can't even remember. What will happen if I stake #5milla? Lemme guess. Guns and grenades, even nukes will enter nairaland. Una de try ooh |
