The numbers are on their website and it's a paid call. Demotintin: Please can someone work me through how to make this call. What numbers to call, is it a paid call. or I just need to have sufficient call credit on my phone. Kindly explain to me, as I have tried to call the numbers on UKvi but they were not connecting. Tx. |

Wow, just imagine. I called them at midnight concerning my husband's application. I mentioned that 15 days had elapsed and all she told me was that a decision has been made and he'll be contacted soon for his passport. Debbieeeeeee: Yes they did, I’ve been trying to reach them but they never pick, this morning I set my mind to ring them by 7am on the dot and I did then the guy told me standard visa processing time is now 30-35 working days. |

same here, I applied with my husband on the same day, out passports were in the same jacket. We got updates simultaneously except for collection mail which I got last week while his is still at DMC when tracked. sparkleoke: Same situation with me. I applied with my husband on the 25th of October. He got his also on Friday. We called on Thursday and we were told a decision has been made on his and no decision on mine yet. We tracked on Friday and saw it has been transferred to VAC. He didn't even wait for mail and he was given when he went to TLS Ikeja. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for mine because we were supposed to travel together on Saturday. |

Gentlesoul3268: Thank you
The answer is the actual money you propose to spend personally if is £750 you intend to spend personally please fill it doesn't mean how much your husband contributed |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by MadameW: 1:35pm On Oct 25, 2021 |
Dear Gurus, I’m currently filling out my application. For the question that says: ‘how much do you intend to spend personally “ Should I include the part my husband is contributing or just the amount coming from my pocket? For instance can I answer that question with £750, then £1000 for the part that asks if someone else is contributing towards my trip?
Thanks in advance |

Are you referring to primark of today or yester year because they have improved the quality of their products. I personally went to primark and H&M for clothes for my toddler. I find primark’s of better quality, most of H&M’s T-shirt were flimsy. So I bought from primark and jejely ordered the rest from George. seyisanya: Awesome, thanks for this. But note that Primark is cheap(including quality of their products. They last weeks or a few months). However, Zara and H&M are affordable with much better quality.
[q1uote author=Osemigho post=80690942]London visit had come and gone. Below are some lesson learnt.
1. Airbnb accommodation is a cheaper alternative to a hotel for people that are willing to cook. We, my girlfriend and I, spent about 100 pounds for six days feeding because we cooked daily. 2. For those willing to take a train from the Airport, insist on buying Oyster card at the airport. We could have saved about 24 pounds but a customer care rep. lied to us that we cannot get Oyster card at the airport. We bought train tickets there, only to see another stall selling Oyster card. We ended up buying that too for about 50 pounds each for a week trip around London. 3. Avoid the train if you have many pieces of luggage. Having to lift and move our pieces of baggage, luggage, etc was a nightmare. I tried to be a man, but even strangers had to help us sometimes. This was one of our worst but memorable experience upon entering London. We avoided it by taking a cab (about 50 pounds) to Heathrow airport during departure. 4. Primark seems to be a good place to shop. Compare to most of my experience in Canada, Primark offers low price products generally below 20 pounds. I think I bought some 3-pound shirt and female bags around 15 pounds.
I will continue to update as it goes. |

Your baby requires an infant ticket... NanaOne1: Happy Sunday Justwise and family here,
I am the sole sponsor of my wife and kid.
On my wife and kids application, what should I input in the question "How much money are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK?"
I have budgeted 1800 pounds because my kid is just 5 months old and does not require a ticket.
Thanks |

I usually submit a cover letter but I’ve never stated my budget breakdown in the letter. seyisanya: Good day all. Awesome breakdown. For those who have been following this thread from part 1 or a bit later, has anyone been issued visa without including a cover later and a breakdown of their budget? Thanks a great deal for your time. |

No, what you need are: 1)Copy of your bio data page 2$Checklist 3)The confirmation page after all documents uploaded were accepted 4)Appointment confirmation mail 5)Your passport Bourne007: If documents are uploaded on the website rather than scan at centre, do I still need to take the documents along?
Cheers |

There’s a guideline on TLS website specifying the documents for each category, you can check it. miqos02: hello house, what is the right category to upload property documents and hotel accomodation? |

omicron: I haven't seen anyone who used app-generated statements. Get from the bank, duly signed and stamped.
If you are doing self-service, checklist is part of the documents you should upload. Many thanks for this, will get the printed stamped-and signed statements Yes, I’m doing self service, just wanted to be sure about the checklist since there’s an instruction not to sign it before ones appointment |
