Magic Bishop: apart from APC etouts and muslim fanatics I am good with everybody

grin
Well, you are better off being good and there's nothing wrong with APC. In life it is a disaster if a person has only 1 food he MUST and CAN eat, it is far more disastrous if a whole country of 170 M has no alternatives, JUST ONE OPTION: PDP? Think about it. grin

DerideGull: There no power that can absolutely defeat a home grown terrorism with overwhelming local support. Boro Haram does not have uniform, base or defined command structure. There could few Boko Haram on this forum as we debate.
Bring it on Dede1. All of a sudden I am thinking of giving you your wings (just 1 oh) back and putting you back into uniform and jackboots! grin grin I will make you a commander of a small squadron for starters! You in? grin grin

Magic Bishop: Who are we fighting?

Nigeria does not need to waste money on stup1d military hardware that will be obsolete by the time they agree to sell it to us rather I will like to emphasis on TRAINING for our troops and also a marked downsizing in their numbers.

We don't require an air force since what we have is more like a Chair Force. The U.S. coast guards has more helicopters than our fighting force.

It is obvious that we may never require a standing army against any invader rather our army has been used against her own citizens more than any other force in history. The role of our army is no more than an occupying deterrent to secession and the role it has come to play within the boko insurgency should have been adequately handled by an efficient police force in the first place.

If You ask me I will rather see more funds going into civilian policing than the army
It was Dede1 first, NOW you too are making the first sensible and only brainful comment since God knows when? What happened to you? grin grin For the sake of the good of humanity, keep this particular brain cells you are carrying today on all the time! I think it will make the world a better place! Now, don't fall back into your renowned heresy and sacrilegious ways again and don't come here to start a fight oo grin grin

Dede1, this is the FIRST and possibly ONLY? sensible comment you've ever made and I say congratulations! grin grin Now don't fall back into disrepair and heresy, you hitherto essence! No come start fight again oo grin grin

PoliticsRe: Maputo, Mozambique - A City Recovers From 40 Yr Civil War - Pictures by madamoringo(f): 9:37pm On Dec 20, 2013
^^^It appears you and your brothers are just angling for an equally 'tribal' response from an Igbo so this thread can degenerate into the gutter! Your baiting and innuendo is quite apparent!

You want to compare 'your neighbours in the SE' as you put it (a people still shackled to and living in the same country with the very people they fought to see the back of; a people who over the years have systematically marginalized, balkanized and exploited Alaigbo, its people and its resources: economically, politically, militarily and socially).....you want to compare Alaigbo and its people on a like-for-like basis with an independent country such as Mozambique?

Mozambique is a country where all are pulling in the same direction; they have the freedom to exploit and use their resources as, when and how they deem fit; they don't have certain sections of their territory ceded off to others just to deny them the full benefits of what God in his infinite wisdom has blessed them with; they don't have others creaming off 87% of their resources and using it to build and sustain foreign cities/countries, while at the same time being refused the right to govern or attain the highest offices in such places; they don't have others actively working to deny their people access to gov't offices and positions (including the highest office of the land) all in the name of 'we hate them and don't trust them' (and this is inspite of the fact that they wanted to leave in the first place); they don't have others working to deny their commercial/industrial cities investments from abroad....with every other new industrial set-up cornered avariciously by others who go on to shout 'we're the most industrialized....we're the most welcoming!'; etc-etc-etc!

There was talk of the 3Rs after the war (in a period of so much oyel wealth that the Head of State at the time was noted to have said something along the lines of 'Nigeria having so much money that they didn't know what to do with it'), but can you tell me of any projects constructed in the South East in the early 70s like we saw happening in Lagos and other cities like Kaduna/Zaria?
If you know that, so why are you paddling upstream and against Nigeria, the country that gave you amnesty and respite from war? Ibos have no one to blame but themselves! With even the money you get from the federal account alone, you cannot justify it with the development on ground! So, quit looking for excuses - you and your fathers are failures!

Inferiority complex of the majority Ibo rears its head again - as usual! Are there no ibo governors in Nigeria or don't you have a state governor in your ibo state? I know you'd do anything to have even ants and locusts trooping into iboland and it really riles you up they'd never cross even past Ore! Bad belle people, we will get rid of you soon!
PoliticsRe: Igbos In Contemporary Nigerian Politics By Babayola M. Toungo by madamoringo(f): 8:02pm On Dec 20, 2013
You would expect the Ibos to accept some of this criticism in a positive light, face up to it and in fact go ahead to make some changes to correct whatever perception problems that is now being exacerbated by this write-up? Will they? Of course, as soon as they take such a high road, it won't be long when they can tell the other parts of Nigeria who they find one fault or the other with to also tow the same path of facing up to whatever the issues, so many of the problems within the parts of Nigeria can be gradually reduced and solved. I will not hold my breath for Ibos to do that, in fact they will not because of their innate nature.

What is needed for Nigeria (the majority of Nigerians) to do is to begin to mobilize more actively and serve notice to GEJ that he will not get any of their votes in 2015 and WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIG! He can as well convene the national conference immediately so that he can hopefully secure an SS country he can be president of or premier if Nigeria does revert to regional governments! If GEJ thinks he will be able to rig the elections, he will regret it in many ways and might pay for it with his life and that of several others of his supporters and collaborators!

Adamskuty: pls seperate us middle-belts from y'all animals,we have nothing in common with biafrans.. We prefe being called north.central

thank you
I am sure the middle belters are peaceful people, like most other parts of Nigeria. They will never want to exit Nigeria's problems to replace it with the ibo problem! In fact, if anything ever brings the two together, I am sure they would tell the ibos they are superior politically, ibos can do all the business they can handle. Ibos on the other hand have been away from power for so long, they'd split hairs to control some power again. This will lead to a classic case if things falling apart when the center cannot hold any longer. The bigger problem with the ibo is a psychological problem: most other parts of Nigeria can not and will not respect them politically or for power since they perceive them as conquered because of the loss of their only war in history. In the end, I think for the good of Nigeria, it is far better for the majority of the dissatisfied country to serve notice to GEJ that he will not get their support and rigging will not be acceptable otherwise, he would set the whole country on fire and bring the disaster on himself and million others. He is better served by accelerating his conference, break up the country peacefully and go on to become the president of Ijaw country / SS country.

This iweala is a useless woman! Imagine even saying she wants to make her case before the "Nigerian People"? Except such people are mega phools benefiting from the rot of the useless economy you run with the retardeen, they need to split your fat head open with an axe as soon as you open that obscenely fat mouth of yours! What did the committee do wrong when they excused her after she said she was not feeling fine? It is again that mindset of entitlement being the "Minister of the federal republic" that you expect a committee to break protocol and reverse itself 1 minute after making a decision and striking the gavel. Useless woman, feeding fat on the money of the country with the retardeen! Na thunder go fire all of una from retardeen to all the corrupt monsters in the national assembly sef! Yes including you fuc.king NLander who supports Iweala because she is from your tribe! Onlytruth and co., i.e. thunder fire you to blazes! grin grin
PoliticsRe: 34-year-old Enugu-ebonyi Bridge Collapses by madamoringo(f): 10:07pm On Dec 19, 2013
Its pathetic to see what has happened to this community. Do the children have to cross this bridge to get to school or market?

A part of this bridge story is sad, plenty of it is amusing and the rest is just plain ignorance.

To my Ibo brothers, please, please, stop branding yourself industrious; you are not. Follow this link and see what industry is about.

This is what Yorubas have done for over 40yrs, they dont wait for useless govt. What you see in this linked story, this is industry! This is the story all over Yorubaland where such bridges exist for commuter transit.

This bridge in Mr Mpuke's village has brought out some hard lessons.

1. When you hear that bridges are tolled in Yorubaland, now you know why; respect it!

2. If the bridge was tolled, the danger of the cement truck weight would have been spotted and he would be diverted elsewhere.

3. A percentage of the toll goes towards repair and upgrade as well salary for the operations staff. This is called self-funded project. Tolling the bridge also create reserves from which the community can draw for small scale self-development and not be totally dependent on LG money. This revenue self-generation is what we call IGR, a popular concept in West.

4. How does Mr Mkupe know who is entering their communities? The toll point also serve as a sentry post for sharing information and collecting news about other nearby communities as well strangers in transit.

To wrap up, we have people in Yorubaland that are specialized in this venture and would be more than happy to serve as consultants and get this village started on a proper footing; and by extension teach Iboland how to be industrious. cheesy
Tell them o, tell them well! The yansh of the Ibo will be opened wide the day Nigeria splits or becomes re-arranged either peacefully or otherwise! The humiliation of millions of Ibos heading on a one way ticket to their land is enough humiliation that will never be forgotten! It shall be said, how are the most hardworking people of the planet turned away to their desolate homeland all in one day??

ketoprofen: We are talking of building brand new bridges, u are talking about towing a dilapidated one.
Which if ur states have been developed from bridge money.
Definitely not ur regional capital,Ibadan which is the biggest slum in WA.
Who knows how ur interior villages look like.
Your comment is an example is where this no let up for Ibos in Nigeria, even when they have been beaten down! Which slums are in Ibadan that there are no WORSE in Iboland? If you show pictures of ancient buildings, guess what? We are SO PROUD OF IT! It shows you when we say that Yorubaland was civilized and already building habitable structures since the 1400s (as far as contemporary history has recorded), we are not bluffing. Those buildings were built at least in the 1600s - 1700s, maybe some 1800s. Can you show me any houses in Iboland built in the 1600s? No, because at that time Ibos still lived on trees, eating leaves and themselves for food. FACT! (Please let no useless person tell me nonsense about this pungent issue)

It's her choice and freedom anyway with her father who happens to be a former president and highly-visible public figure! I say it's time to move on, its their choice if she washes the dirty linen of her family in public. Eni ti o ba ta ara ile re lopo, ko ni ri ra ni owon! Simple.

BTW, when will the retardeen president respond to the original letter? Yeah right, no response!
PoliticsRe: Latest Picture Of Gej by madamoringo(f): 6:16pm On Dec 19, 2013
This man is neither prepared for presidency nor gifted with leadership skills! He just rail-roaded himself into it and because of the money and power involved, he'd rather die there like most useless African leaders! He has no sound intellectual faculties to take him through even the small problems, very poor sense of judgement to choose advisers who can contribute intellectually to life up his government and FINALLY CORRUPTION! The retardeen will go down as the worst and dumboest president Nigeria has ever had!

Lilimax: All these are not necessary at this time. We're about putting things straight.
Haha...forget putting anything straight! With your idea of 'god blessed' and writing it in ibo thinking no one here understands what you are talking about? I know that previously innocent little girl you have there will soon be indoctrinated and propagandized by the poison of hatred from your tribalistic heart! In any case, all these long story is not even needed, we are past this level now! The only thing I (and I believe a lot of other Nigerians) cannot wait any longer for is the day Nigeria either breaks up into sovereign countries (and this may not happen soon because of the thieves benefitting from the country as is) or at least a clearer system of governments in which everyone has 100% control of the affairs of their lands and peoples! That day, I can't wait for all Ibos to leave my land alone! No begging, appeal or otherwise will change a damn thing because until you are made to leave the West where you've had it so good and we reduce this over-familiarity, we will not have a chance to see your 'ibo god blessedness'. So, keep your platitudes, I just want you people to go away - simple! Oh YES, YOU WILL DEAD, for the stubborn ones, or ALIVE!

Take it easy bro.
Just know that :
-Anyi bu ndi Chukwu goziri agozi hence the envy and bitterness towards us.
-Chideraa, odego- No man can erase this fact.

Shalom!
Ibos are 'god blessed'? Hence, that is the reason for the beating you get in Nigeria all the time? Who has been telling you people all these lies because I am sure you tell that girl of yours the same lies? When did God bless covetous people who because they were allowed into another man's house, it now became theirs? No, your hatred has nothing to do with any type of blessings but curses heaped on your own heads by your own self - take responsibility and don't bring God into everything. When ibos were killing the Sadaunna, Balewa, Okoti Eboh, Akintola, etc that was god blessing you? When Ojukwu was boasting about a war he would eventually run away from, that was god blessing you ibos? I think you are blessed with absence of common and uncommon sense - really!
