EgunMogaji2: I wouldn’t recommend biking to anyone in Nigeria especially to an adult that’s starting out.
That N800K will barely cover well made gears.
No more high risk pursuits for me in this country that has deplorable emergency medical response and healthcare.
I can’t really blame my accident on my bike because we were parked when a car came off the road to hit me but the bike actually reduced the impact. My bills are nearing N10M now.
Forget the bike. Sorry to hear this. Hope you're getting better? |

teewhydope: Many people are unemployed due to the mass layoff and restructuring that happened last year, so unless you have many years of experience, based abroad, or too good, then the chances of securing a foreign gig is tiny but not impossible Menh!! Tech is now saturated. Nawa |
Politics › Re: Lagos Guber: You Want One Nigeria, Yet You Want Igbos To Leave Lagos - Aloy by MadarasBlade(m): 10:34am On Mar 14, 2023 |
Intrepid01: No, they aren’t asking Igbos to leave Lagos. They are saying Igbos should show the kind of respect Igbos living in Kano, Kaduna and Katsina are showing. I’ve not heard of Igbos claiming to takeover Kaduna, Kano or Katsina because they know the land owners over there aren’t tolerant and will go violent on them. But the fact that the owners of Lagos are tolerant and accommodating doesn’t mean they should be disrespected. Even in Anambra, an Ebonyi man was rejected from contesting as a Senator, he was told to go back to his state. Even the wife of Ojukwu, Bianca, was told to go back to Enugu and contest, she was rejected at the primaries in Anambra, That’s Igbos within igbos oh….. Go and sit down oga. I only pity igbo people investing in Lagos, can never be me. |

Gerrard59: You don't know the extent not being in the federal government will create. Now, it will be 24 uninterrupted years of not being catered for by the central government. Before this election, the SW was Nigeria's most prosperous region. With Tinubu at the helms of affairs, no region I dare say would see its back economically.
Go and read Soludo's tweets he made last year's November. Apart from lagos, what other south west state is prosperous? Can they boast of better infrastructures than other parts of the country? |

spyder880: Yes, a lot of good business is going on there. But tiles import is not moving as fast as it used to, a lot of local firms set up by the chinese are making good quality tiles in Nigeria these days, and the people are buying a lot of them. Only the super rich buys imported tiles these days. The same thing happening in lagos, orile and mushin Nawa. Thanks all the same sir. |

bakynes: It is obvious we have no business been one country. Best to give each region an autonomy. Am sure nobody knew the Attah guy, they voted LP in all 3 ballot papers because of Obi as if Obi will be President, Senator and House of Rep member, all at the same time.
Now the people's choice even lost out because of ignorance and blind love towards one candidate contesting for President. INEC needs to put names of candidates in future elections. I thought labour was a party without structure, whya are you so pained? |

Politics › Re: Vote-Buying: Politicians Plot New Strategies To Bypass Cash Crunch by MadarasBlade(m): 8:34am On Feb 19, 2023 |
FarahAideed: Many sub level thinkers won't be able to process what I am about to say but I will try.
There is nothing like vote buying , it's all a ruse , votes can only be won and whatever way a voters decides for his vote to be won is that voters concern as long as his process doesn't disenfranchise another voter .. There is a reason why the constitution says you must be a biological adult of 18 before you can vote this is to assure you have a biologically developed thought process that can make you make the best choices for you as to how you want your your vote to be won . Voter A might want his vote to be won for some immediate gains as guided by his reality while voter B might opt for his votes to be won by way of religion or tribal affiliations , Voter C might opt for his vote to be won for just simple personal reasons like the candidate is his neighbor and voter D might want his vote to be won on the basis of some long term goals like a better society for his kids ..What ever path a voter decides to use to allow his vote to be win is legitimately valid as far as he doesn't disenfranchise another voter in the process...If someone says he will vote for the candidate that can give him immediate 5000 naira vote to solve immediate reality issues like hunger who are you to describe him as a vote seller or describe his own process as vote buying but you that is going for a candidate that is promising your kids cheaper vacation visa or a new bridge for your car to pass you say your own is the valid way to give vote ... People open your eyes there is nothing like vote buying in democracy You're an absolute fool. High level thinker. |
