This is how to be a good medical student. Different kettle of fish, being an actual doctor. And I don't mean some folks that wear lab coat to prescribe Doxycycline or Chloroquine. I mean DOCTORS.

In medicine, the margins for error are minimal; you f.uck around, you end a life.

In software engineering/development/coding/programming, you basically have different methods of approaching a problem; the worst that can happen is being stuck on a problem that makes you vent on social media on how hard it is.
Sofware engineering is just as important, a bug could launch a nuke or even cause a plane crash.

There's something called Fair Market Value and i read the entirety of this thread only to see no one mentioned it.

Fair Market Value is the cost of a commodity when there is no pressure to buy or sell.

It's the price of a goods where no party is leveraging on the weakness of the other to make a sale.

I don't think N400K for a N700K TV is fair market value. That's almost twice the amount the TV is worth on the open market.

I would have been on Gazuzz side if he paid the 450k the seller originally wanted.

That N50k was the bone of contention and cause of this thread.

Biosilicon could have come up with so many reasons to refund Gazuzz his money but intentionally wanted Gazuzz to know he sold it to someone else .

The seller was more wrong than the buyer but both parties did not come in equity.

Consequently, there are no clean hands here.
Thank you.

The wall is undefeated.

All women hit the wall at 30.

And from there, it becomes a hell of ride down the slope for them as their Sexual Market Value in the dating market nosedives steadily and speedily.
At 27 sef. It's a sad reality.

Everyone has a cross to carry, for men it is their financial capability, for women it is their youthfulness.

Older ladies are less desirable to their younger counterparts. As much as women hate to admit this, it is the truth.

Broke men dey collect, na so 27+ dey collect.

When igbo traders work their ass off till their late 30's what age range do you think they get married to?

If I reply to this useless question you asked, it would mean that I'm trying too hard to prove myself to you. And do you know what's surprising about it? It's that you're not worth my reply and I'm beginning to lose active brain cells conversing with you.

Dear dusty, get lost.
Bold of you to think that i care about your brain cells reducing, you could as well become an invalid.

Well, if your so called man is so high value and doesn't want to commit to you, then what does that make you?

What does he think of you, that you're high value yourself? I doubt tho, because he would have married you all these while.

I am just saying, while your estimation of someone's value might be true, do you bother to think what opinion they have about you?

So why has he not married you yet lol.

A real man knows how to shine out the femininity in a woman. To be a real man in this context means you must provide for your woman, it's not negotiable. Be her protector, her shield, and her resting place. Even a hardcore misandrist's guard will break down with the presence (impact) of a high-value man and this is a man that provides, leads, and protects.

With these in place, there's NOTHING and no length a woman will not go for you. You can't expect to not make an impact in her life financially and otherwise and think she'll listen to you. No. We don't entertain dusties over here.
You've been on nairaland all these years, yet unmarried. What could be wrong, the men do not want to commit and so they leave or you do not attract high value men?

It's an achievement because our society doesn't regard singlehood. In some cultures, it's only when one is married, one is fully entitled to certain chieftaincy roles.
Who cares about titles? In the end does it matter?

Very few jobs sponsor for H1B o. The thing is that it's even a lottery system so a company can sponsor you and you won't even get it. When you graduate as a student you have OPT which allows you to work but it's only valid for a short amount of time. You have to try to get H1B during your opt period. If you can't you have to leave the USA, if you also get H1B you need to maintain it for 6 years to get green card. If you lose your job while on H1B you have 60 days to find another else you have to leave the USA. For some nationalities like Indians and chinese, it's almost impossible to get green card due to backlog. There's indians who have been working for 10 years on H1B and can't get green card.
This is so horrible, my God!

Okpanam is an Igbo town on the outskirts of Asaba, capital of Delta State. Years ago, the indigenes erected a statue in memory of Chukwuma Nzeogwu, their famous son who led Nigeria's first coup

People of Okpanam still believe that Nzeogwu led more than a coup, they believe he led a revolution

Actually his coup was deadly & bloody. Others were more of arrest and imprisonment sort of.
Secondly, SE and other political zones are just a political map drawn by politicians for their own selfish gains; Has nothing to do with tribe or culture. Chukwuma Nzeogwu is Igbo by tribe.
It means we have all the oil in the country? Thanks.

The only mistake those first coupists did was sparing Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, they ought to have eliminated him like they did to then horrible leaders like Ahmadu Bello, Akintola.

Tafawa Belewa was a good man that was misled by two Muslim Jihadists Ahmadu Bello and Akintola leading to their ostracizing and jailing Christian leader Awolowo which made the young Southern Military guys led by Igbo soldiers to strike.

The same Muslim Jihadist agenda that Ahmadu Bello and Akintola were pushing for that made these guys to fight back is what Buhari and his Fulani brothers are still pursuing today, killing Northern Christians in the name of cattle herding.

Thank God the ignorant Middle Belt Christians they used against Biafrans in the 1960s are gradually waking up and realizing who their real enemies are.
Eliminate Nnamdi for what?

I swear if you read this Nzeogwu Speech and shame no dey still catch you, you are not a true NIGERIAN. Nzeogwu Speech "This is the end of the Extraordinary Order of the Day which you will soon begin to see displayed in public. My dear countrymen, no citizen should have anything to fear, so long as that citizen is law abiding and if that citizen has religiously obeyed the native laws of the country and those set down in every heart and conscience since 1st October, 1960.

Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent; those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as ministers or VIPs at least, the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country look big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds.

Like good soldiers we are not promising anything miraculous or spectacular. But what we do promise every law abiding citizen is freedom from fear and all forms of oppression, freedom from general inefficiency and freedom to live and strive in every field of human endeavour, both nationally and internationally. We promise that you will no more be ashamed to say that you are a Nigerian.

I leave you with a message of good wishes and ask for your support at all times, so that our land, watered by the Niger and Benue, between the sandy wastes and gulf of guinea, washed in salt by the mighty Atlantic, shall not detract Nigeria from gaining sway in any great aspect of international endeavour. My dear countrymen, this is the end of this speech."

VOTE WISELY O
My god, this is beautiful.

Eatery you said. People are paid to clear the table.
In your home, I repeat, in your home, unless you have a paid hired hand, you have no reason not to take up the plates you used and wash.

See proud haughty spirit.
When you guys are supposed to act like men with balls against men from other countries that neo- colonised you, you transfer that to your equal all in the name of marriage.

I've been married for a long time and trust me, you wouldn't want to know who my husband is but from courtship till today, unless I'm doing dishes when he finished eating, he usually clean after himself. I don't dish food for him. He can wash every other person's plates and what have you if he is doing dishes. His manhood is still intact. His respect is intact. He is the man and father of the house. His children are learning how to behave as me that value and respects women. No wonder Nigerian women transfer bottled up aggression to poor maids or even kids cos our men feel too proud to be humane. We wonder why there is so much low self esteem among Nigerian men. Cos their fathers don't know what home training is.
They assume its by being aloof as showing their humane side will make their women ride over them. What inferiority complex!
Fact is that countries who do that are zillion times better than you guys. Its a fantasy that will never materialise for Nigeria to be like such countries Cos you lot decided not to accept reality. Reality that your wife is your equal and not property. In this 2023, a human being still waits for his wife to dish out food and clear table after eating Cos he has penis. And if their sons start beating up their girlfriends, they will ask why he is violent. Seeds planted by their father.

Massaging ego never build a home, community or country. Nigeria is a failed country, thanks to our men who can't wash common plates they ate from in their home.
What a better way to tell the world you married a slowpoke. What's wrong with women doing the dishes and washing plates? Some men can be so funny lol. A man's job is to hustle hard and provide for his family, this is what you get when your wife splits the bill with you. Common to wash plate, lol.

Are you being sarcastic? My wife usually clear the table when I’m done eating and I don’t have to do more than taking my plate to the kitchen if I have to as I don’t have kids yet. C’mon these are no big deal.

Okay check this out… in most eatery in UK people usually clear their table after themselves when done eating. Not like you are mandated or expected to do it most do it out of curtsy. You can confirm from anybody you know living in Uk.

Now to mess with your brain I actually do the dishes sometimes but wifey do it most times.
You shouldn't have replied that person, how can washing your husband's plate be a problem? People are just unnecessarily dramatic.
