Congratulations, all the best

Please did you apply online or you had physical copies submitted?
NeedAdvice00:

Let me start by appreciating everybody here.

This is my 3rd application. Actually, I did not know today is my day of testimony or this application will be approved. I even started my master's in Nigeria already because I have lost every hope after 2 denials.

School: University of Canada West
Course: Master of Business Administration

Documents Submitted

1. admission letter
2. tuition receipt
4. my family picture
5. my picture in usa, uk, finland, and south africa
6. my passport and visa stamp pages
7. statment of purpose and letter of explanation detailing what has changed, which was written perfectly written by @Sopwriter
8. my father's company cac
9. his personal soa (both savings and current)
10. company 1 soa
11. company 2 soa
12. Introduction letter from one my father's company saying I have been working for the family business since I competed my bsc
13. my awards and certificates
14. my cv
15. my police cert

Let me add this, I did not submit my soa bcuz it is just school fee and upkeep allowance from my father that enters it so there is nothing hefty in my account so I was told not to submit it

I dedicate this approval to God almighty and my family. Appreciation also goes to @Sopwriter. This man really helped me with advices. He called me with his airtime and guided me from A to Z.

To other hopefuls, please don't give up because that last try may be where the testimony is. I started my master's in Nigeria already and today I am rejoicing

May other hopefuls testify.

An European and African passport aren't the same.
i know you are dumb, you can't figure it out,you just crawled out of your hole to attack without having full knowledge of what you want to criticize.
And you said all your years in SA you just got to hear is a drug route?
Which remote part of SA do you reside? Which station/s do you pick your News from? are you sure you can even read and comprehend at all? grin

Luckily I have read through the posts and I have seen people have dealt with your false narrative

Obviously you don't get it,as a student you are expected to sit back and study not junketting around the globe, even when you are travelling it has to be an essential travel and not to DRUG ROUTE like South Africa

Another nonsense! Do you know his financial status? I know multimillionaires in schools, because he is a black African that is why you are saying this rubbish. Europeans schooling in SA, go on vacation every term, some scholarships allow holidays, they will pay for it! Besides he is going for a family member's wedding, they understand our culture, that we take these ceremonies seriously. With all my years in SA, I am hearing for the first time that SA is a drug route country! You are just an alarmist

You are currently a student and want to fly to SA from UK, a journey of well over 11hrs that might cost you over £1k? who is financing your trip?
You have given them every reason to hold your passport and conduct a thorough background check on you and your host.
Even if Visa approved you still need to be very careful of such Travel.

Hi everyone, this forum is enjoyable to read and i want to enquiry here about South Africa 2021 after corvid restriction.
Is it still safe for a Nigeria youth to seek SA vis a giving the recent reports of Xenophobia? What short course in IT, computer and Web solutions can one study in SA and apply through such course to get Visa? if i find the right IT short related course how can i apply from Nigeria and how much will i be spending in estimate if to proceed? Thank you all.

You can apply for a short course in CPUT, Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town. I have gotten people into South Africa via CPUT, NETACAD/ICT Academy program. It is a good program in association with Cisco.

Honestly the best way to go about a short stay visa is a tourism visa. It is better to apply and show that you have no affiliation in the republic. Book hotels, book events and tours, have a proper itinerary in the republic. Let them know you are only visiting for tourism purposes, South Africa is big on tourism, before COVID19 emergence South Africa's tourism contribution to GDP was over 10%. Choose tours like the Garden Route (eastern Cape to Western Cape) visits to stellenbosch's wine farms, the cape point, table mountain, come to Gauteng to visit Soweto, so many things to do, just Google.
You must back this up with proof that you can afford it, if possible make deposits. When booking hotels, book in multiple cities, book different connecting flights within SA. You don't have to pay for them. Honestly tourism visa with a no affiliation with persons in the republic is the best

Hi everyone. Please i need some advice.

Whats the best way to apply for SA visitors visa from Nigeria now? Should the person just apply as a regular tourist and book an hotel, or does the person stand a higher chance if the person gets a proper invite from someone who lives in SA (permanent residence with a job and savings)? Fyi, the visitor is just a friend and not in any way related to the PR holder. But the visitor will be staying with the PR holder in his house in SA.

The visitor has been to SA b4 for a visit and returned to Nigeria after a week.

Just want to know which is best now considering all these stories about visitors visa. Thanks

I heard from a reliable source that some South African embassy officials here in Nigeria now collect money from visa applicants. Some individuals in the embassy have turned visas into rackets, this is probably why the visas are harder to get so that people can pay (my assumption) . They charge as high as 900k per student visa.

Thanks once again man. Some folks that got refuses SA student visa recently said they its because of the Pandemic. That the schools are not running on campus session so the VOs were like "what are they going to do at school?".

I have to buy insurance and pay for Police report and these are expenses.
I don't know if I should go ahead and apply for the visa.

This is false, no one is being refused because of pandemic

Student visa

1. Admission letter (stating the course duration)
2. Letter of undertaking by the school
3. Medical aid
4. Bank statement
5. Proof of residence
6. Health certificate and radiology certificate
7. Police report
8. Yellow fever vaccination card
9. Itinerary (flight)

Now let me give this free tip, your bank statement should be in naira or if you have account in another country (not SA). Even if you are on a scholarship as long as the scholarship is from SA please try not to present it to the embassy here in Nigeria. The reason is like every other country, the evaluation officer wants to know how much you are taking to South Africa, they are not interested in the money already in South Africa. This is also applicable to people looking for other visas, your bank statement should be of Nigerian origin. Don't let your sponsor present a South African bank statement. Again, your account must have a good and comfortable balance.
Finally nothing is cast in stone, some are lucky but I don't believe in luck.
Ask yourself this question how much are you taking to South Africa?

@ the 1st bolded, if the story is true, the woman was mean ,are there no mean cashiers and servants in Nigeria? And how did the couple know that she was mean to them because they were foreigners, do they know how she behaves when dealing with other groups who go to the store ,and what did they do about this ?

who wishes they were Nigerian shocked grin? And how did you come to this conclusion?

Most of what you said ,I agree with . As for the attitude, the same can be said about foreigners too with their entitlement mentality in a foreign country. It goes both ways ,and there are valid reasons for that.

Well the woman mentioned foreigner in Zulu cos the ID that was presented was the man's Nigerian passport, even while apologising the dispenser told the woman that she thought it was these "fraudulent Nigerians "
When I said they wished they were us, I meant the not so enlightened south African who sees the foreigner in schools or doing well.

This is a visa section for people with genuine intentions of going to SA, it is not supposed to talk about the Xenophobia in SA, but if I may add, the average South African has this attitude towards foreigners but honestly if you are high up you don't notice them. Like you are in school, work place in good areas, etc.
A couple was in Dischem pharmacy in Midrand, the woman is South African but born and raised in the UK, the man was Nigerian, so the couple were only speaking English, they wanted to buy drugs for their sick child, so the dispenser not knowing the woman understands Zulu spoke to her colleague that "their child would die anyway ". The woman was raving mad. How can a woman wish another woman to lose a child. We see these things daily, but we ignore because sometimes they wish they are us. Like I said earlier don't give them the ammunition to attack you. Have genuine intentions and you will be fine. Stay on your lane, don't go after jobs that the locals want. My piece

The funny part about this Blurpy dude is that he has a thread on this very platform, a thread that only glorifies* the same South Africa without touching on any negatives grin. You would swear South Africa was some Eldorado from the way he went on grin, its funny how he suddenly realises how xenophobic we are grin. Could it be that he met the requirements for a visitor's visa ,but couldnt meet the criteria for permanent residency? cry.

I wonder why people are trying to discourage others from getting visas into SA with Xenophobic attacks. The South Africans frown at immigrants coming into the country without contributing meaningfully to their country. I wonder how many doctors, engineers or lecturers are being affected by Xenophobia. Why would you want to relocate to somewhere like SA, country battling with unemployment and go and "hustle". You must have a good reason to live in SA. You should understand the nomenclature of SA before going to SA to reside. Asides being a professional, there is no point going to SA to reside, or you are a major investor. You as a foreigner have no business living in some townships or suburbs. A lot of Nigerians perpetuate so much evil in South Africa lik drugs, human trafficking etc. 90% of prostitutes on long street at nights are Nigerians, Nigerians shouldn't do that. I have been approached to rent a property so that young girls in the townships can live there and prostitute. The average educated South African respect the Nigerian who is responsible and have s professional job/career in SA. If you must relocate, try and be in the STEM field i.e Science, Technology, Engineering or Medicine. That is what the economy needs. Don't go there to marry their people and you don't have viable profession. If you must marry, marry out of genuine reasons and don't use your partner for immigration purposes.

Good day everyone. Please I’ll need suggestions/advice.
I applied for a visitors visa in March before I got married, but my passport was taking long to get back to me, so my spouse came back a month later and we got married. We waited almost a month after marriage , and the passport wasn’t still sent back. He had to go back to SA, hoping I’d get my passport back with visa in it. Sadly I was denied after 2 months of waiting.

Now I want to reapply. we have been joined legally, he’s on a business permit. What type of visa should I apply for and what are the requirements ?please I would really appreciate if I’m being attended to. Thanks.
