Okay a S.African whk hates to associate with other Nations will never know the thru pix of events in other countries. Just imagine if Nairaland was owned by South African we would have been asked to leave on the grounds that S.Africand are not having a enough space to type. |

Lionessza6: LMFAO,I'm not naive enough to believe in the fradulent dreams of greedy ,corrupt and foolish politicians like Juju. A continent as diverse as Africa cannot be one country, there would never be progress just constant civil wars and destruction. West Africa and the horn are a clue of what awaits your United States of Africa. We want no part of that , but we don't mind making Botswana,Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho provinces of South Africa. We share languages, close historical ties, we are all more spiritual than religious etc. We have a lot more in common than differences, this means less conflicts. This is part of the reason Southern Africa is more stable and peaceful than other regions and we prefer keeping it like that. With the rest of the continent which I assume would form part of the USA , free movement of goods should be supported(trade) but the movement of people must be strictly controlled to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Only investors who meet the stipulated requirements should be allowed and skilled professionals. NO "HARDWORKERS & SHARP GUYS " NEEDED . You could even make your USA Visa very difficult to get for the citizens of our tiny United Southern African States , and we would definitely do the same . taaah stop that S. AFRICA CAN NEVER BE ONE WITH ANY CONUTRY. THEY ARE SELFISH, GREEDY AND HOSTILE TO ASSOCIATE WITH OTHER AFRICANS. WVEN IF THE WHOLE OF AFRICA COME TOGETHER S.A will be too scared to join. |

If you ask me eh marrying marrying a girl is not about the age but the level of intelligence, spirituality and morals In the 90s I would have said 18years to 25years girls are good to go. But this 21st century my brother don't marry that age bracket. But if you must do then make sure the lady is well brought up from a good family and also that she has a mind of her own thereby she will not be influenced by pair pressure from all those marine children on IG and tiktok. |

sorry sir oo oga adult. You know what I am talking about even though I choose to be sarcastic about it. The truth is that the unrulybehaviour and criminal life style of some fewblack over there also add to what prospective travellers suffer. Also The narrative of some few NGO looking for grants and some media houses looking for foreign sponsors made many western citizens and organisations think Africa is all forest where animals live or a big slum where destitute live . See I no fit talk jare Mummyfour: this comment is for childish people that don't know what they want out of life and not for serious minded people like me Reading my post from beginning to end will definitely convince you that I am not one of those you alluded to Thank you |

isabi2lof: Honestly, since then , I do give up easily in a relationship, because my previous relationship taught me how to cope alone in a relationship, if you don't reach out to me for awhile, I will just be fine with it , sometimes I don't even know if I'm in a relationship or not , before you know I will just call it a quit.. then look for friendship first before love. You need to keep healthy friendship that will grow into something romantic. Don't give up on love. Then you should learn to need help or rather allow people assist you do things even things you know you can handle by urself. This will really help. |

PeachtreeReside: I read with great sadness of the people who having sold all their belongings to The UK only to get there and not be able to work or work enough to pay their bills both in the UK and in Nigeria.
I have seen videos of Nigerians who in Nigeria were well to do but due to several factors chief of which is peer pressure succumbed to this decade's Japa Wave and are now caught in between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea.
Most cannot afford to come back and continue the lives they interrupted because they do not have anything to fall back on or to.
https://www.nairaland.com/7813973/uk-skilled-worker-visa-story
It was sad to see Professionals here in Nigeria become Carers, Cleaners and I wondered if there parents are not wondering why give a child an Education if the said child would run away to another country to do a job that he or she would not have dared to do in Nigeria.
Inasmuch as i love the UK, the ambience, the well planned settings and all, I am not fooled to think that they are issuing visas out of love or concern.
They are pooling in funds into their Economy and it is a gamble that they have played knowing that a percentage of those who come in will go back without being able to achieve the aim of getting that coveted British Pssport cum Citizenship.
Definitely not a loss to the UK Government as their policies are notorious for being changed at will to favour them whilst putting people in peril.
The cunning of The British is something we need to study... Same cunningness that led them to colonising countries bigger than theirs is a kind of juju in my opinion.
If you can raise millions of Naira into servitude, why can't one channel those funds into an Industry that The Lebanese, Indians and Co are thriving?
Not all can japa, so what next?
I remember those IG Japa Professionals who spurred a lot of people on and grew their YouTube pages with all sorts of information, they arr laughing and dancing to the banks with their earnings.
I wish we had a group of people who will encourage us to know how to build our Country for a better today and tomorrow.
N.B
This post is not about advising people not to japa ooo.
Just think about it and pray we'll before you go ahead is why I wrote this post. there are people who have raised money in millions to start business in Nigeria and nothing came out of it. Staying and spending money in Nigeria will not be a problem if you can see what u spend your money on. There were times foreign degree is more preferred than Nigerian degrees for employment in Nigerian owned companies. Put government aside Nigerians add to the problem we have |
