Hahaha! So the gist about this lady and her 'overhyping' attitude is true. cheesy See the way she wants to deceive the 'average mind' as if Cnn did a 'special' report on her and Amanpour hosted it, do not be fooled, she was simply featured on "Cnn Marketplace Africa' that has featured so 'many' Nigerians and Africans who own businesses, they have even featured shoemakers, farmers etc....... angry

Jobs/VacanciesRe: A Lady I tried To Give A Job Of N393,000 Blocked Me On Facebook by MaeBlocks(f): 11:56am On Aug 08, 2017
Apart from the French job, are other administrative jobs available there?
BLoomfrancs:
So there's this woman whom I know from teaching her son as a home tutor. She just said to me that there's a vacancy in ECOWAS where a bilingual officer is wanted on part-time wif a tax-free annual salary of 15,000 dollars which means a monthly pay of 1,250 dollars per month and that's approximately 393,750 naira every month.

She broke this news to me because she thought I could speak French fluently but nah I lost interest in the language after highschool. So for the offer not to go by without someone I know getting the position I told the woman to give me time that I know of someone who is perfect for the job.

Then here comes the part of the girl wif name Nneoma—not her real name.
We went to the same P school and she got admitted to a reputable Uni in the east. Her course, linguistics.
So in order to tell her about the job, I sent her a friend's request buh after some days of waiting I got no notification whether she accepted me or not and at my facebook page where I have my sent requests, I checked and to my astonishment I saw nothing.
Then to be sure I wasn't mistaken I searched her name again and on her profile the “add friend” button happen to have disappeared. That moment I didn't even know what happened to me; I was totally shocked thinking about why she had just blocked me.
Oh was she thinking I was trying to befriend her?
Otherwise wtf did she block me for.
Wif no other option left I said to myself nna mehn see person wey I wan help dey form big girl fer me when my girlfriend is like 10times more beautiful than she is and even more intelligent.
So I went back to the woman and told her she should give the job to another person.
So this is it my people wah do y'all think? Drop your comments.

Meanwhile
The girl when thinking she has blocked me not knowing she blocked 393,725 naira per month..

You will be surprised to know how many different fields the Nigerian Army has. They have carpenters, mechanics, doctors, nurses, drummers, wrestlers, artist, painters, singers, tailors, infact whatever skill you can think of, you will find there. But everyone must know how to use the gun in case there is war.

CareerRe: How To Successfully Return To Work After Maternity Leave by MaeBlocks(f):
Returning back to work after my maternity leave was indeed a very difficult task for me. I felt guilty leaving my baby at home but luckily for me my mum closed her shop and helped to look after my baby until she was 10 months old. At 11 months I enrolled my baby in a school close to my place of work. After my mum, the school is the next caregiver I can trust.
I bring her back to the office by 3 - 4pm and work closes by 6pm. We leave home by 6:40 - 7am and get back home between 7:20 - 7:30pm on the days that traffic is less.
This motherhood and wifehood thing no easy o but with God we will succeed.

AgricultureRe: Photos Of My Snail Farm In Edo State by MaeBlocks(f): 12:51pm On Sep 14, 2016
Am really interested in this line of business. Pls can you put me through.
tnx.
IMASTEX:
This thread was created to showcase my snail farm as away of encouraging the unemployed youths to explore the golden opportunities that lies within, in other to attain financial freedom without having to remain idle "while waiting on their choice employment". And also, to motivate and unveil to the working class the flexibility in snail farming. Thereby making it a very good way of doubling their sources of income. As it often requires most attention in the evenings/night, minimum startup capital, very low morality rate, good return of investment, etc.

Agriculture remains the only way out, most especially in this present economic reality in Nigeria. This is why, going into the agricultural sector will not only make us self-sufficient but to increase income base.

FamilyRe: Are Nigerian Men Scared Of Having A Will? by MaeBlocks(f): 3:05pm On Sep 08, 2016
The writing of a Will is not a hard thing but shey na who don chop belleful dey write Will?
Please remember that times are hard and majority of Nigerians are struggling to feed themselves, pays rents, pay school fee, etc.
My papa never write will and neither we his children or our mother care.
A colleague of mine's brother inlaw willed his property to his wife (my colleague's sister) and his two children before he died. His family started fighting over the properties with my colleague's sister as she kept insisting they are for her children. But you know what....she has died too.
My advice - insisting on having a will couldn't be the ultimate priority of anyone cos no one will be buried with the properties.

SmellingAnus:
What if your spouse wakes up one day and ask you ..."honey do you have a will?" What will be your reaction then and after then?

By the way according to Wikipedia A will or testament is a legal document by which a person, the testator, expresses his or her wishes as to how his or her property is to be distributed at death, and names one or more persons, the executor, to manage theestate until its final distribution. For the devolution of property not disposed of by will, see inheritance and intestacy.

Though it has at times been thought that a "will" was historically limited to real property while "testament" applies only to dispositions of personal property (thus giving rise to the popular title of the document as "Last Will and Testament", the historical records show that the terms have been used interchangeably.[1]Thus, the word "will" validly applies to both personal and real property. A will may also create a testamentary trust that is effective only after the death of the testator.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Visits Vatican For The Canonization Of Mother Teresa by MaeBlocks(f): 11:06am On Sep 05, 2016
Why worry yourself about the catholics mode of worship. Worry about yourself and let God be the judge at the end of the day.
Scatterscatter:
I have just one prayer for my Catholic friends. "I pray God in his mercy have mercy on you all especially those at the bottom of the carder (the ordinary church members)" this is because you don't know a jack about what catholism is truly all about.
The Vatican is a political stronghold used mainly to oppress the world in the crusade era, taking over territories and enslaving people!

Listen, Bowing to images is idolatry which is an abomination before God.

The Bible clearly states it that "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life ;no one cometh to the Father except through him." Jesus is also at the right hand side of God interceding on our behalf so please tell me why you have to go to the Father through mere mortals that will also be judged at the last day.!

Catholism is just another religion hiding under the shadow of Christianity.

Mind you, Jesus didn't come to start a religion, he came to show us the way to the Father and one of the promise he made while ascending was that he will send us the Holy Spirit to guide us, comfort us and show us what to do. Jesus never prayed through any man and he never taught us to pray dat way.

Catholics beware, the devil has taken over your religion.!!!
BusinessRe: 7 Reasons Why You Should Start Your Online Business Now!!! by MaeBlocks(f): 3:21pm On Sep 01, 2016
importexpert:
To be frank with you, Nigerian economy is tight as it has always been. it is as unfavorable as our lazy minds want it to be. if complain without thinking outside the box is the greatest weapon we hold up to, then i assure you the tunnel will get thiner towards the end and their will be no light at the end of the tunnel. despite all the complain about the economy, Millionairs are still being made in Nigeria on a monthly basis.

As a matter of fact As you read this article, thousands of people are making real money online, working just a few hours a day from the comfort of their own home. They are living a life that most people only dream about. They took the decision to make extra money at home by starting an online business. If these sounds like something you would like to be doing, keep reading because I am giving you 7 good reasons why you should start your own and make that extra money that you really need. below are the reasons.

1. More freedom

Starting an online business gives you more freedom. It will give you more free time to spend with your Family and Friends. This is what most busy people crave for. If you are one of them, then consider very seriously about starting your own online business. keep in mind that it will be beneficial to automate your business to the best you can so even if you are not spending time online, it will keep making you money.

2. Work your own hours

When you start your own online business, you create your own working hours. Some people like to work late at night (including myself) and others prefer to work early in the morning. You have the freedom to choose the hours that in your opinion make you feel more comfortable and the same time more productive. Remember you are the boss cheesy.

3. No overhead expenses

With an online business you do not have to worry about any operational expenses like leasing a building, paying utilities, paying employees, etc. To run an online business you only need a computer, a good connection to the internet, a willing to learn mindset and tangible sources to learn from. things are changing fast now that so many online businesses can be carried out using our mobile phones.

4. Easy to start

You don't have to be a genius to start your own online business and you don't need any well guarded secrets to make easy money online. It's all about know-how. You can get a good eBook or a good program at next to no cost that can teach you about online business and how to apply the different strategies to promote your website and have a successful online business. You can start making money on the internet as soon as you are willing to put some effort on your part.

5. The whole world is your market

You will be able to make real money online because you can do business anywhere in the world and it doesn't matter where you live. You can live in Ajegunle and do Legitimate business with people in U.k or with people in Canada. It makes no difference. With an online business the opportunities are endless because the internet is a global Village.

6. Affordable

Unlike a regular offline business like a Provision store, a restaurant, Transportation business, health or any type of these businesses, starting an online business requires very little start up capital. As a matter of fact, you can start with less than N10,000. This amount is to cover the basic needs like the domain name, web hosting, autoresponder, etc this is when necessary. Some of the most successful online marketers today started their online business on a shoestring.

I really do appreciate this your post as I have been searching for what kind of online biz to delve into to backup my job. Pls tell me the different options that are available to try and the best links.
Thanks.

7. A 24 hours business

Your business will be running 24 hours a day 7 days a week with nobody complaining about it. You see, after you automate your online business the best you can and that should be one of your main goals, then you don't need to spend more than a few hours on your computer but the internet will be working for you and making you profits 24 / 7. Nothing beats making money on the internet 24 hours a day working just a few hours a week.

Conclussion: Procrastinating if you should start your Online business? Remember the words of Napoleon hills In His Think And Grow Rich, he said "the best time to start is now either you are ready or not because if you are waiting for the right time you will end up never starting cool.

U call N250,000.00 just?

careercrew1:
The best way to survive is by becoming an entrepreneur.

This is why I always advice people not to wait for a white collar job before you earn some money/income.

I even wrote an article on some businesses you can start with just little cash.

HealthRe: 9-Week-Old Baby Suffers From Skin Change Due To Baby Formula [PICS] by MaeBlocks(f): 12:44pm On Aug 10, 2016
Majority of Nigerian firms are not in support of mothers bringing their babies to work with them so the only option of feeding the baby is using formula.
sapiosexual1:
C'est drôle.

Bros it's actually the contrary. Feeding a child with supplementary milk is costlier than breastfeeding and drains the family resources faster than you think.
You know how much NAN 1 or 2 costs? You know how much SMA gold costs? You know how much Cerelac costs? Imagine if you have to buy a tin every 5days, compare that to the free natural breastmilk.
We have seen pictures of a Brazilian minister who was breastfeeding her child in Parliament, we have hawkers, artisans, bankers breastfeeding their babies at work, what then is the limitation to breastfeeding in these economic times?
