@ M. Sijuade, very touching story. Something tells me you'll make serious headway in finding him, because you already have a lot of info/evidence: name, picture of him etc. And about your look: no one here is an authority on what Nigerians find scary/ weird. We are very exposed, enlightened, tolerant. You'll blend right in with your 'do because I can bet it's already a trend with some ladies over in Nigeria. In any case, all the best. |
You're welcome . |
It's not just what you say, it's how you say it. Dood always talks like he has hot food in his mouth. He doesn't sound very polished even with them big words. However, he is a great source of amusement. |
In that case, I'm impressed. I'm checking out your blog. Cool stuff! |
dayokanu:LMBO. That was funny . |
Wow. Did you really write this?? Really got me thinking. "One-hundreadth of a human". Good of you to share this with us. |
About Gerrard, whether true or not true - what has this got to do with the issue at hand?? Latest I heard, is that Cheryl is afraid to actually divorce Cole. No, not because of money you guys (yeah, I know you're thinkin' it). But I think she really loves him and of course, she's afraid to be alone. The devil you know etc. Who can tell how the next guy will be? Really sorry for her because the biggest mistake a girl can make is falling hard for the wrong guy. |
Lol. . .The evil b!@tch should have been cremated a long time ago.
Of all the stuff I've read folks on NL wish upon her, that's the worst!!!! I had to dig back and figure out what this was all about. But she made an error bringing it here. She should have just created a topic for it, like she usually does. Though @ semid you get bad mouth oh. I wouldn't want to be on ur wrong side!!! Lmbo . |
If I were you I'd employ your brother. After all if he messes us he's still your brother. But a gf can wreck things and you end up losing her and the biz. Or you can hire them both and turn your workplace into a battlefield ![]() |
Maybe he wants to use her for money-making rituals . Either that or na love potion. You sef where do you get all these weird tales from. |
So Nairaland is now your official family-tree researcher abi? Well I hope someone helps you untangle this cos it's a bit too complicated even for me . |
Deep Sight:Well, like I said, Churches have their different ways of running things. I don't encourage the over-commercialisation of the church but let us be slow in condemning our spiritual leaders for not being as perfect in their actions as Jesus Christ was. |
efepro:well done efepro, you sef get the right mind unlike those bad belle with them teeth wey dey grind as e be say we don earn the recognition and worldwide applause instead made them pray for d same, na to dey hiss and show their flaws Talent na gift from above, make we hold am tight cos some struggle to write, but them no get the God-given might ![]() |
This is how some people bring out the worst in others. Some one just got unbanned, and this is the kind of thing she has to put up with already. I'm really beginning to feel for you mama-gee, I just hope you don't get frustrated with this your beloved Nairaland because they just don't understand you like we (your fans ) do. Please when will you create another this vs. that topic? Anyway welcome back. Be good . |
@ viaro after reading your responses I have to say I just don't get you. Just what do you want? For everything to be given away FREE?? Such an argument is overwhelmingly flawed: that no one should have to pay ANYTHING "to secure a place in heaven". I guess folks like you would even frown at giving offering in church. Well salvation I'm sure is free but items that have a price tag should be paid for. Give to Ceasar and all that. I've seen some veeerrrry expensive bibles, and people buy them. Same goes for other kinds of Christian literature. It's just a choice you have to make - to buy or not to buy. |
viaro:Selling salvation?? Oh viaro, may God forgive you! . I don't know much about how Churches are run, but there are things to be paid for. The electrician that fixes the sound and PA system for the services needs to be paid; so do the handymen that handle the building of the structures that hold masses of devotees during big programmes. But these are just tiny examples of how money is used for a good cause to get "salvation to the masses". People like the Witnesses have loads of sponsors so they can afford to give out free pamphlets (which can in no way be compared to a yearly devotional like Adeboye's Open Heavens) But when it comes to published works it takes a lot to get it out in the market - how can it then be given out free to the millions who require it??I don't know anything about Adeboye's accountability, all I'm saying is that Open Heavens, app, soft or hard copy version, is worth paying for. If you're such a generous Christian you can buy a million copies and give it out to the needy Christian masses (joke ) |
Lol @ "plunder" Christians. These are much too strong words. But I can see you feel strongly about this. Good fight, but wrong battle. The way you talk, one would think we Christians were being extorted from by Churches. |
Lol. Your "big man" doesn't have a name? Anyway, nice one. More and more kind-of-familiar names. . . . Keep it up! |
Different churches have different modes of operation. If some can afford it, let it all be free. As for me, I don't see much bad in churches asking for a token in return for one thing or the other. |
mystikal:Lol. I guess she picked a wrong time to release that Fight For This Love song. |
@ viaro I'm certainly not going to stay up all night arguing with you. All I know is that it is numerically impossible for the Church, any church, to give out everything free. Your friends managed to get saved with free bibles, etc. Lucky them. But many Christians today, rich or poor, see nothing wrong in spending good money on what ever items they feel adds to their spiritual growth. If you want to wait for something to be free before you edify yourself, be my guest. And goodnight. |
Yeah it might be true since she "noticed" it - but I believe the word should be "envy", not jealousy. At least deep down I'm sure they hope to be in the same condition one day . |
davidylan:Umm - your bible(s) - did you obtain them free? Your Christian books, inspirational and motivational and yes, devotional, were they shared out gratis to you at church or on the street? Let's stop looking for freebie and hand-outs, especially not when it comes to things of God. It cost Him a lot to save you, the least you can do is spend some hard-earned cash on your spiritual well-being. |
davidylan:Lol. Seriously. If it's worth it, people will buy it for even more than that. If it's one yeye entertainment or games app, no one will complain. Because it's devotional, it should be "dashed" out. There are podcasts that you can download free, but apps may not always be so. Is it a crime?? |
Wow people are so perverse, they complain when they have to pay for Godly things. So because it's a Christian app does that mean it has to be free? And just because it's not free, does that make Adeboye a bad person?? Some folks wouldn't even value something unless they spent good cash on it. |
