LiteratureRe: Mistakes We Make, Grudges We Keep (this Story Will Make You Teary-eyed) by maedan(f): 11:17am On Sep 21, 2009
When I saw the title, I was like, na lie, how are you sure this story will make me cry?? So with vexation I started to read.

My goodness, it's so sad I didn't know when tears rolled from my eyes.

Nice one. If true, too bad. If fictional, then it's a good lesson.

But don't make me cry again o angry smiley.

TV/MoviesRe: ~ Any " Strictly Come Dancing" Fans? ~ by maedan(f): 7:53pm On Sep 20, 2009
Older generation you say (prefer Strictly) cheesy?? Have you seen some of the contestants that show up for X-factor?!! I certainly haven't seen an 80year old dancing on Strictly the way I see some geriatrics singing and jiving on the stage in front of Simon & co.!!! grin grin

Wow, I was impressed with the Hollyoaks guy too!!! He looked so dapper and distinguished in his tux - and he danced incredibly well. Shows that soap actors have their own share of class! I felt sorry for him bc he has such a hot partner with a fantastic bod and the poor man must be happily married - how will he cope with those double D's Natalie is packing grin??

TV/MoviesRe: ~ Any " Strictly Come Dancing" Fans? ~ by maedan(f): 7:17pm On Sep 20, 2009
Lol at the same-time airing - I heard Simon complained bitterly - in fact he was livid!!! But prime time is prime time and he can't have sole ownership of it grin!

Yep, I'm mixing Jade with someone else, sorry. But I still like her tho'.

I think Simon is more worried that Strictly is more popular and would steal his shine. Looks like more intellectuals watch Strictly and then the general everyday masses prefer X-factor. Live of course, I'll choose X-factor, I don't know why cheesy. tongue

PS --- drag me here?? Babes, no such thing grin. Thanks for the invite but when it comes to these things, I'll always be one step behind ya kiss.
FoodRe: Egusi Soup Vs Obgono Soup by maedan(f): 7:06pm On Sep 20, 2009

LiteratureRe: Untitled by maedan(op): 2:58pm On Sep 20, 2009
@ sino
I was hoping you guys could suggest a title to me as the story progresses.
And kids grow fast these days - but u're right; I'm trying to be real but I don't encourage teen promiscuity. I'll keep that in mind.

LiteratureRe: Untitled by maedan(op): 7:03pm On Sep 19, 2009
@ ruudie - not a chance cheesy! Oh, I'll make Ray come begging, but she won't budge. Fate has real love for her waiting around the corner. . . It was right under her nose but----

Ok, I've let enough out of the bag, Don't want to ruin it for u'all before I write then post it!!!

TV/MoviesRe: Silverbird Cinemas Bans District 9 by maedan(f): 6:19pm On Sep 19, 2009

If it's true, then thumbs up to the Silverbird people. I can't imagine sitting at a movie theatre with my compatriots and laughing through the scenes about Nigerians that some people seem to find "funny". If this was a Hollywood movie and Americans used Canadians as the butt of the dumb racist jokes, what do you think will happen? It's like looking at the 9-11 disaster and thinking, Damn those terrorists did a thorough job, though they killed thousands of people. "District 9 is a funny movie, what's the fuss about the Nigerian slurs?" Shame on you.
LiteratureRe: Your Thoughts ,my Thoughts, our Thoughts. by maedan(f): 6:07pm On Sep 19, 2009

@ravenzord - your frankness is  shocked shocked shocked refreshing. In these worldly times, dating a typical Nigerian guy without the option of sex would invoke cries of "U wan kill am?!?"  grin grin. Doesn't make it right, but girls should always keep an open mind if nothing else cheesy.
LiteratureRe: The Beginning Of A Teenage Love Affair. by maedan(f): 3:39pm On Sep 19, 2009
This is true love as teens know it, I can feel and remember the chemistry cheesy - esp Orisha's which is so on point for teen guys - they can be madly in love and madly jealous. Enjoyable reading!

Heheheh, @ mohawkchic, you flatter her too much----"glamour model" indeed grin. As we speak she's packing her baggages to U.S. to join her dream team the Playboy girls - Hefner has allegedly invited her to be the new inmate at his mansion--- talk about career progression tongue grin!

CelebritiesRe: Your Best And Worst Nigerian Comedian? by maedan(f): 10:44pm On Sep 18, 2009
Well, i concur on one thing: Basketmouth is not all that, just a mediocre comedian with a great personality and that's why he has many fans. As for Klint D Drunk, the day I knew he was good was at a fellow comedian's birthday bash, someone was interviewing him and Klint was just dropping funny jokes from the guy's questions, just like that: impromptu. That's a real comedian, not someone who has to prepare stuff all the time or copy to be relevant.
