TV/MoviesRe: ~ Any " Strictly Come Dancing" Fans? ~ by maedan(f): 3:18am On Sep 30, 2009
Lol!! I knew the intrigues would catch up with the show sooner or later. It's a shame that Holly's Ricky is getting the flack for doing dance classes prior to the show - and so bad for Alesha Dixon that people don't have any faith in her----but I'm more interested in the "steamy romances!!!" grin

What with the sexy dancing and hours and hours of practising, these couples get so close during the show it's a miracle for those partners who never have affairs with each other. Even the married ones have been suspected of foul play once or twice. And then those costumes shocked shocked grin. What's a red-blooded male/female to do?? Girls with long, endless legs. . . .men with bare, broad chests and strong arms. . . .How any one can let their spouse participate on that show is beyond me!!
TV/MoviesRe: Your Favourite Prison Break Character by maedan(f): 3:04am On Sep 30, 2009
Lol. Okay, you Scofield-haters asked for it.

Michael is sooo hot. And cute. What a combination. And then they made him a genius to go with it. Not an ordinary genius, but one who cares and wants to help others to his detriment.
His love and devotion to his brother was so heart-warming - and made him all the more sexy. We didn't even get mad at him for falling for Sarah. We forgave him because he's so cool with it. He didn't let the love get to his head, but did what he had to do - save his brother first.
Speaking of his head-----what's all this y'all are saying about Michael's head eehnn? Have you seen a smoother, rounder and finer shape of head on a white guy? And then that lean, sculpted torso. . . . The highlights of the show were those few times in Season One he took off his shirt and we saw those sexy tattoos. . . .

OK, like ma gurls have said, don't let's start on Scofield cos this could go on for dayzzzz grin. And from the clips of interviews and awards shows I've heard him speak on, that guy is very intelligent, and contributed a lot to the success of the series. So no more Scofield-bashing okay, guys cheesy??
CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji On Oprah by maedan(f): 2:47am On Sep 30, 2009
shocked shocked Woww!! I always knew Genny had star quality and easily outshone her contemporaries, but this is a surprise!!!
So if someone from our "yeye" Nollywood can get even this little recognition, think what could happen if the industry was improved!
I always admired you babe, keep doing what you do. Even if na "tokenism", let's enjoy it and stop "looking a gift horse in the mouth tongue!!!

TV/MoviesRe: Whos The Most Beautiful Lady In Hollywood by maedan(f): 3:36pm On Sep 26, 2009
^^I believe when the OP said "Hollywood" he was referring mainly to actors, so Beyonce is hardly a contender, though she's been in a few movies. And Halle Berry is really like last century tongue - considering the teeny boppers and young hotties that are the epitome of beauty right now. Women like Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie will always be respected for their looks for years to come - but the younger cuties are taking over, sorry! cheesy

@SEFAGO,

maybe you should change your location grin - or perhaps, look harder to find the hard working Nigerians entrepeneurs and professionals around you wink.
Seriously though, I never really needed Wiki to tell me what I've already known and seen for myself: Nigerians in Ivy League universities studying or lecturing; Nigerians as top surgeons and businesspersons----not that I'm saying that nurses or taxi-drivers are not good -so long as it's an honest job, they should be commended. Bottom line is, people should not think every Nigerian in diaspora is a loser. You'll always be disappointed.

Lol @ Rosabelle - you're definitely right that every good show needs a heart-melting, hot-bodied, ever-likeable Latino male - I mean, a Sucre grin! Loved his accent - even hanging around the cool, polished Michael Scofield for so long never made him lose it, thank goodness cheesy!
TV/MoviesRe: X-factor (Who's Watching) by maedan(f): 7:20pm On Sep 25, 2009
Just what is it about X-factor that's so gripping grin?? I like to sing and I like hearing people sing - when they're good of course. I have a lot of favourites already, male and female - and I will not miss boot camp, just to see which of them finally make it thru to the live shows! Enjoy ur X-factor tonight - I know I will wink!
TV/MoviesRe: Whos The Most Beautiful Lady In Hollywood by maedan(f): 6:31pm On Sep 25, 2009
There are so many "official" Hollywood beauties, depending on who's in vogue. Megan Fox is one of the latest "hotties". Scarlett Johanssen and Eva Mendes are all-time faves - but I think I'll be able to comment more succintly had the topic been "The Most Beautiful Men in Hollywood." So guys, the thread is all yours wink.
TV/MoviesRe: Your Favourite Prison Break Character by maedan(f): 6:20pm On Sep 25, 2009
OMG! I totally forgot Sucre! He was the one that stood by the two brothers the most! I think he deserves to be No. 3 on my list after all - but that would push Tweener out grin!!!
EducationRe: Africans Have The Highest Educational Attainment Of Any Immigrant Group In U.s.a by maedan(f): 6:18pm On Sep 25, 2009

Some people are really foolish. They think everybody is like them. So Wikipedia don't know what they're saying, abi? Rubbish. Move among those on higher levels and you'll see what Nigerians are achieving in every location.
TV/MoviesRe: Your Favourite Prison Break Character by maedan(f): 6:14pm On Sep 25, 2009
"Tweener" the cute hip-hop pick-pocket was a good PB character too. His romance with that college girl was really cute. I was sad when Mahone killed him. So, my 5 all-time fave PB characters:

Lincoln Burrows
Schofield
Mahone
Sarah
Tweener
