Yep, watched it on the reunion night on BBBM, looks like you missed it . Sophie was like, "I heard all the stuff Kris was saying about me" blabla. You're right I've got it in for 'er, ever since she won! I'd rather anyone but her win cos she's the edification of "dumb" "blonde" . She knows how to dish the insults, tho', so no need to pity her, mohawkchic . |
I'm just saying it like it is, @ mohawkchic ! It gets on my wick how pompous Sophie has gotten lately---who's feeding her lies about herself?? Winning BB doesn't make you better than the losers(see Brian Bello ). Acting like she's too good for Kris! Telling BBBM that "I can do better". And Kris promptly replied, "Well, I've had better." That's got OUCH all over it ! Who knew he was talking about cute-faced Noirin?? I don't like her same-same hairstyle, but it's obviously what she feels comfortable with. Not everyone wants to be all-over fake like that silicone-tittied Sophie . |
Ok, ok Sauron, far be it for me to get into an argument with you(I no get power ) but I maintain, K is more famous. People make hits on someone to find out more about them. Em has been so out of things that of course people are curious to know what the heck he's up to. Less people on the web are hitting on K because, frankly, he's so on trend and in the news all the time (half of the time as a nuisance, true ) so it's pointless looking him up on the internet ! He does a lot of collabos, more than Em I think - what does that tell you? Brother is hot(ter)!!! ![]() |
@ Sauron, great points but it's not really about who has sold more records, who's the best rapper etc. I hear Kanye's name five more times than I hear Em's, I see Kanye more on TV than Em, Kanye does more interviews - and trust me, people only want to interview you because they think you're hot to watch - so IMO, Kanye is more popular and well-known than Em is. K is just all over the place - and he definitely gets more invites to hot do's than Em does. Sorry, but Em is losing this contest .BTW, lol at all the "A' ma let you finish" spin offs--- K's started another crazy trend and that's why he's so freaking hot . Other than that he's a misguided loudmouth . |
Noirin What a time bomb!! Is anyone safe around her? Even laid-back Kris has fallen into her trap. And Sophie acting like "good riddance"---we all know Kris practically dumped her on TV the week he was out - he was just being a gentleman in later episodes so people wouldn't hate on him. But he was ready to leave Sophie the moment he left the house - but was advised to play safe by his publicists when it became obvious Sophie was a crowd favourite. Bottom line. . . .Sophie is not as hot as she thinks she is. Noirin is a natural beauty(with dimples!!! ) She cleans up good and has been looking hot ever since she got out, never a hair out of place, nice clothes - no wonder Kris chose her to rub in Sophie's fat face !!! And guess what, Noirin was able to control her weight in the house and never turned into a food-guzzling slob like Sophie. So winner or not, Sophie is really not all that . |

^^^^Will some bible scholar please do some justice to this fasting issue because we're about to have a convert right here !!!I know there's somewhere Jesus called himself the bridegroom, and that while he was with them, they need not fast - but then when the bridegroom(he) is no more around, there would then be cause to fast. Something like that. So @ Abuzola you're well on your way to embracing Christianity----> !!! |
BBA always manages to select the most un-hot Nigerian females to feature in the show. Because they know any reasonably hot Naija chick will outshine everyone. So they give us the "dryos" as tokens knowing they'll soon be evicted. I promise you there were finer, livelier Nigerian chicks that auditioned for the show. Such is life. Good to know Keving is "repping" but he's being too careful for his own good---- |
Hmmn. Smoker and Drunkard. The House of the Lord is open to them all. LOL. |
I said the man is on drugs. Too much money, too little finesse. He used to rant about himself not getting this and that award - Now he's fighting another person's battle. Since when did he become Bee's "hero"? |
![]() Crazy and funny. You people and your jokes sef. |
Cheeky!! ![]() |
At last she nodded, smiling and wondering what she was reluctant about. Raymond was such a gent, and she was secretly dying to meet his family. He got them there in good time, and Tiara found that it was a well built mansion surrounded by wrought iron gates. She tried not to seem too awed as, let into the paved grounds by a waving gate man, he drove them in. The beautiful house was surrounded by exquisitely tended gardens, which were lit up by the many lights dotting the sprawling compound. His family had to be loaded, she realised. And he acted so humble, you’d never guess. Inside was even more palatial, with polished marble floors and more sitting rooms than Tiara’s house had bedrooms. “This is so cool,” she exclaimed, gazing into a gilded antique mirror that took up one whole wall of the room. “But where is every one?” He undid the tie he’d worn for the occasion with a playful grimace, and she laughed. “Didn’t I mention it? My parents practically live abroad – only come home for Christmas or the odd family reunion. My elder sister is married and lives abroad too. My younger ones are at boarding school, and when they aren’t, they’re with my folks in U.S.” “So, you mean you live here alone?” she asked in amazement and with just a tinge of inner conflict. “Scary, I know,” he chuckled. “Such a big house. But it’s been six months since I moved back to the country so I’m getting used to it.” He saw her face and then took her hand with a gentle squeeze. “Relax, Tiara. I’m not going to eat you.” Yet, he added to himself, before pulling her out into the hallway where a wide, carpeted stairway wound up. “Let’s go check out my comic collection.” Quelling her misgivings, she let out a calming sigh and went up the stairs with him. His room was a bit messy with clothes and left over food in take away packs here and there, but it was large and well furnished, with his very own plasma TV on the wall. He put it on first, and it was a video music channel. “Excuse the mess,” he said apologetically, “I’m not much of a housekeeper. Check this out.” She went to his side, and found a whole stack of comic books lining one wall. There were like six racks and the comics were arranged in separate groups. “We’ve got DC here, and over here’s Marvel, Manga – what ever your pick.” “Wow,” she cooed, flipping through a copy of Green Lantern. Thanks to having an elder brother who was crazy about comics, the love for them had rubbed off on her, and she’d been quite a tomboy growing up. She was over her other boyish traits of playing football and climbing trees, but she still kept her interest in superheroes. She was impressed by his collection which was definitely larger than her brother’s own respectable library. “This is utterly cool!” she was gushing, going through the lot like a kid in a candy store, confused which one she should look at first, and unaware of the way Raymond was watching her. He came to sit right next to her as she gazed down at the cover of a collector’s issue of a Batman illustrated novel. “You have got to, absolutely got to loan me this,” she cried happily. “You can have it. You can have anything,” he said, making her shiver as she suddenly realised how close to her he was, so close she could feel his breath on her bare neck. She turned the pages quickly, keeping her cool with effort. “Um, just this one, I think.” She tried to edge away, but there was nowhere to go except through the wall. “I think I’d better be . . . ” Going, she was about to say, turning to face him, only to be cut short as his lips landed wetly on hers. She was so shocked she was frozen for a few moments, till his hands came up to slide across her chest, making her jump to her feet as if electrocuted. |
thanks, @ill'2 (hope I can call you that LOL)And hold on, she's not that easy. . . . . |
CHAPTER THREE It was like walking on the moon. A week after the party and Tiara was falling deeper into her “thing” for Raymond. He loved her! He told her this every time he called (which was often), and never stopped telling her how beautiful and adorable she was. She turned into such an airhead that even her mother was fed up with her, rarely letting her into the kitchen because she always ended up burning the food with her absentmindedness. He was all she talked about to her friends, which was just as annoying. She hardly noticed how glum Kessy seemed these days. Max had returned to school on Sunday, so the house was less fun, and Tiara had no one else to irritate with her lovesickness because her younger sisters were all under ten years old – what did they care about boys? It was a week after the party that Raymond asked her out on a “date”. A visit to the cinema, no less. Kessy and Itoro came over to help her choose what to wear for the grand occasion. He was coming to pick her up at five thirty since the movie, an animation blockbuster, was to start at six. “Some girls have all the fun,” Itoro muttered with longing, as she pinned up the last strand of Tiara’s long hair. Their friend looked extra pretty that evening; no t-shirt this time but a girlish little dress patterned all over with large coloured flowers. “It’s just a movie, Itoro,” Tiara said offhandedly, though her heart hadn’t slowed and still beat with as much anticipation as it had ever since he’d told her about their date. She kept looking at the clock. “Nevertheless, he is kind of rude,” Kessy said. “I mean, inviting just you. He could easily have asked us all along. I’ve been dying to see Ice Age.” “Chill out, Kessy. Maybe next time I’ll tell him to get his friends and we could all have a blast. That is, if your boyfriend won’t mind,” she added teasingly. Kessy grunted. “You mean Chima? After the way he acted at the party? It is so over.” Both friends turned to her in surprise, but there was no time to prod her because the doorbell rang just then. All three dashed downstairs to find Raymond waiting at the door. He smiled in greeting to Tiara’s friends, before grabbing her hand. “We have to hurry, babe. The movie starts in half an hour. Nice to meet you girls.” He winked at Kessy and Itoro, who beamed in return, instantly forgetting their annoyance at him for excluding them – and now happy that they were left to babysit Tiara’s bratty younger sisters till her parents got back from work. Raymond and Tiara were just in time for the starting credits, what with the Lagos traffic that delayed them beforehand. She was impressed that he’d got them VIP seats, which was almost empty because it was a weekday night. It was all very cosy and nice, sitting so close to the hunky Raymond who didn’t waste time in placing a possessive arm over her shoulder as they watched the funny movie. She hoped her friends wouldn’t ask her what the film was all about tomorrow, because she’d be incapable of remembering a thing, too giddy to have Raymond by her side, ever attentive and affectionate, taking her hand and kissing it every few minutes, bringing heat to her already warm cheeks. He was such a charmer! This had to be the best night of her life, she told herself dreamily. Time flew by so fast that too soon, the movie ended. They walked out hand in hand back to his car, still laughing from the funny ending to the film. “I knew you’d be great to hang out with,” he told her, unlocking the car and opening her door gallantly. “I never had so much fun at the movies.” “Same here,” she said breathily, suddenly shivering in the cool night air as she squeezed past him and into the car. He shut the door and came in through his side. Now what, she wondered sadly, wishing the night wouldn’t end. As if reading her mind, he tipped her chin up to look at him. “Hungry? We could grab a bite from Nando’s.” His fingers on her skin were making her even more shy as she drew back from his touch. “I couldn’t eat a thing, trust me. I really stuffed myself on the popcorn and coke you got us for the movie.” “Okay. Not hungry.” He seemed thoughtful. “So, should we go to my house? I’d like you to see my place, Tiara.” He had a very appealing look on his face, but Tiara was somehow doubtful. “Come on, Ti. I promise to get you home on time. We’ll just relax, I’ll show you my comic book collection, ” He grinned, wriggling his eyebrows. “I remember you mentioning once you’re a Wolverine fan. I’ve got some cool vintage editions I could loan you.” |

@ ravenzord----thanks for taking the time and looking in - even with your busy "My Thoughts. . ." thread. Your age bracket is 16 - 25?? Such wisdom for a chap your age .@illusion2---- u' welcome . |
Okay, I'll try n hit u up tho' my YIM is acting freaky---people say I'm offline when I'm not - crap like that. Hope it works favourably 2night---! |
Klint Da Drunk is my all-time fave - very original, ultra-talented(he can sing too). His drunken act never gets old cos he mixes it up so much with dancing and singing . That Okey Bakassi gets on my wick but not as much as that Jedi guy. He's not as funny as he thinks he is - but seems to have big friends so his shows are always packed. He's gone into singing too, by the way . |
^^^Don't encourage me !!! Once I start, it'll be hard to stop. But you're right though: purple does sort of suit me---- . |
@ ravenzord - you Schadenfreude you!! To think you were destined to be a pastor----lol! I think there's still hope for you yet . Your last post got me thinking though. I do get gleeful sometimes at other people's mishaps - but only when I don't like them! Does that make me a schadenwhatsit?? I hope not!! |
@muedewor, so true!! Went to a friend's house and she cooked ogbono with ugu and okra and it was so rich and tasty! Since then I try it out once in a while when I want a change. Mix all that veg with the other condiments of meat and dried fish---hmmmn, culinary heaven! How can egusi beat that, huh? ![]() |
Oops - looks like the anti-spam feature is going wild again . Hope my last post shows up again soon enough.Hmmn, I'm really starting to like this coloured-font thingy. Might get used to it . |

Solution?? Young girls should stop being hungry and desperate for cheap fame through reality TV - the risk of falling into the hands of crafty predators is too high. |
@ Mrloverman, Whether in Kensington or Brixton, these people are boooring in lifestyles and tastes. I like the sound of Ireland/Scotland, though. |
That's good to know. Thanks ! |
