CelebritiesDremo Set To Blow by magazineguy(op): 1:25pm On Apr 18, 2016
Being a young person in this generation is not an easy feat; at a young age you are hungrier than ever for success. You go to sleep with your dreams and goals in your mind, and wake up with more ideas and concepts to make those dreams realities.

Aboriomoh Femi Raymond understands this; he is a hungry 22 year old Afro pop artiste that is overly eager to share his craft with the world. He started his musical career professionally in 2013, and it has been a steady journey since then. As every artiste is required, he needed a stage name and when his brother suggested ‘Dremo’, he just felt it was hot!

Growing up in a religious home added its own teaching needed for his craft; he used to play the keyboard in church and he still does. His father is a pastor, so he nurtured his singing and performing abilities in a church by joining the choir at a very tender age.

Despite being passionate about his musical career, this talented young chap still finds time to balance his school activities; He is presently studying English Language at the National Open University, Ibadan.

His debut single, ‘OBT’ (Oluwa Baba Turnup), is a party favorite, with a video to match. Dremo has been working tirelessly on his official debut album with producers like Suka Sounds, Shizzie and Legendury Beatz.

With so many musical projects, Dremo is set to make a landmark in the Nigerian music industry. When asked about his upcoming projects, he said; ‘I am shooting about 3 videos this summer; I’m traveling to South Africa for one of them.’

He states his dream collaborations as, working with Drake internationally and with producers Don Jazzy and Sarz locally.

As a young, handsome, and hardworking man, it is only safe to assume that he gets his fair share of the female folks flocking his doorstep, and he affirmed that he is currently in a relationship.

Dremo is a very promising act with lots of contagious enthusiasm and zeal. He assures us to expect really good music, videos and an album soon. So, watch out

CelebritiesUpclose & Personal With Sesan Ogunro by magazineguy(op): 1:17pm On Apr 18, 2016
Ekiti-Born Sesan Ogunro may not have a familiar face within the Nigeria Entertainment sphere but his works and name surely does. With his name being associated with excellence and creativity, Sesan Ogunro has grown to become one of Nigeria’s top choice video directors within the country and recently outside the industry as he shot the visuals to American rapper, French Montana’s song.

Born to Mr. Sesan Ogunro, the popular advertising guru of Eminent Communications; Sesan is the second child and first son of four children having one elder sister, one younger brother and one younger sister. He grew up in the Ebute-Metta part of Lagos which saw him having friends from different backgrounds- rich, middle-classed and poor backgrounds. He had his elementary and secondary education in Nigeria before travelling to London where he had his tertiary education studying 3D Animation and Special Effects.

“My Father is a man of his own, I am a man of my own”, he proudly says this as a counter to a question on him not following in his father’s line of career. Well, who wouldn’t be proud to say so with the level of success he has attained thus far?

http://www.tushmagazine.com.ng/upclose-personal-with-sesan-ogunro/

Although his choice of directing still has a connection with advertising in terms of print, radio, TV (video); clearly Sesan is not just a musical video director but a video director with a clientele that spans across the entertainment circle to the corporate world. He recently got the contract to shoot a TVC for Arik Air and UBA.

Dressed in a well ironed white sleeve and black pants with matching shoes during this interview, Sesan hinted about his dress sense: “Obviously I’m a businessman as well as a video director and I don’t shoot every day. I have to meet with corporate and urban clients and this requires me to dress in an outfit that suits a businessman. Although when I’m shooting, I’m usually on jeans or shorts depending on the weather condition”. Sesan’s business adventure started way back in London after graduating from school. He started up a company which later packed up but gave him an exciting experience. Moving on, he teamed up with Anthony Dickson as his partner and they both formed a company together.

On seeing that the visual market in Nigeria was about kicking up and was very fertile, he sold his shares to Anthony and moved back to Nigeria.

In Nigeria, he formed his operational company- Filmworks which is co-owned by his younger sister, Fade Ogunro (popular OAP at Beat FM 99.9) and together with a superb team which he still works with till date, they shot their first musical video for D’Banj’s Suddenly and that brought him into the world of Video Directors in Nigeria. Onwards, they have shot world class visuals for different artistes in Africa.

Happily married with kids, Sesan is proud to have a family who understands his schedules. On his family, he says “Really I’m out to just make a living for my family and I’m glad they understand, although I still find enough time to share with them”

magazineguy:
Over the years, every appointed Nigerian coach by the NFF always engage in a battle of ego as age, experience, connections dictates the criteria in which these Nigeria coaches were being appointed. Below are a few Italian coaches Nigerian coaches can emulate one of two things from as compiled by the Kick and Follow team.

Arrigo Sacchi

Arrigo Sacchi is considered to be one of the greatest manager of all time. He was twice coach at AC Milan from 1987-1991 and 1996-1997 where he achieved a high level of success at the Club winning one Seria A title, Super Coppa Italiana, two European cups, two European Super cups and one Intercontinental cup. He also finished runner up with The Italian team he managed when they lost to Brazil in the 1994 world cup on penalties.

PHILOSOPHY

Nicknamed the ‘Prophet of Fusignano’, Sacchi favoured a 4-4-2 formation that is fluid but highly organized in attack. This type of approach dictates that the sweeper that is free from man marking tasks is discarded, leaving the team to be saddled with the responsibility of zonal marking whereby the defenders cover a certain area of the pitch. He employed this tactic to great effect when he managed the likes of Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi. His tactical approach made him successful while at AC Milan and he is credited with innovations that apply in the modern game such as high pressing, setting the offside trap and and a high defensive line with no more than 25 meters between defense and attack. He was a strong advocate of equality among players. He is described to be a detailed coach, who paid attention to the slightest and implemented a strict training regime for his players to memorize and practice during matches – an attribute which earned him criticism. For his contribution to the success of Italian football, Arrigo Sacchi was inducted into the Italian football hall of fame in 2011.

Marcelo Lippi

Retiring from active football at the age of 34, Marcelo Lippi began his journey into coaching with a stint at Italian side – Sampdoria. His breakthrough did not come until he successfully took Napoli to a place in the UEFA cup despite the financial turmoil of the club who were still basking in the memories of Diego Maradona. Now a top target for management, Marcelo Lippi was employed by Juventus with whom he won a Serie A title with excellent players such as Gianluca Viali and Ciro Ferrara. After a not too impressive stint at Internationale, Marcelo Lippi moved back to Juventus where he won the two scuddeti and led the team to an all Italian final against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League. His side lost on penalties.Following a disappointing Euro 2004 by the Italian team under the tutelage of Compatriot Giovanni Trappatoni, Marcello Lippi was handed the reins and he successfully qualified the Azzurri for the 2006 world cup in Germany where they defeated France on Penalty shootout. He resigned from the Italian National team due to the team’s poor performance in the 2010 World cup qualifying matches. He moved to relatively obscure (in football terms) China where he became a Legend for Guangzhou Evergrande, Winning four successive league titles and also became their director of football. However, he resigned from his position in February 2015.

PHILOSOPHY

Marcelo Lippi is a strong advocate of Team Unity and mutual relations between players stating that players must play for each other and not for themselves. He also believed that tactics employed must maximize the potential of each player and their utility for each players and each tactic employed must be right for the players. Marcelo Lippi is well decorated and has won many laurels. Aside from winning every major title with Juventus including the UEFA champions league and the Intercontinental cup, he has also won the AFC Champions league, becoming the first coach to win both continental trophies. His exploits at winning the World Cup in 2006 fetched him an individual award for World Soccer Magazine World Manager of the Year. He is also a fellow inductee to the Italian football hall of fame.

Fabio Capello

A fine midfielder during his playing days for AS Roma, AC Milan and Juventus, Fabio Capello started his coaching career when he was appointed caretaker coach for AC Milan in 1987 but his baptism of fire began in 1991 when he replaced fellow Italian Arrigo Sacchi. He retained the setup of the latter in terms of players and tactics which yielded a Scudetto in 1991–92 and a UEFA champions league trophy in 1993 when they defeated Barcelona. With players such as Marcello Dessalliy and Paolo Di Canio, AC Milan were riding the waves under Capello and won the Scudetto again in the 1995-96 season. They did it with an 8 point margin.

PHILOSOPHY

He moved to Spanish giants Real Madrid and won the La Liga tittle for the club. Playing a trio of Davor Suker, Pedrag Mijatovic and Raul, he preferred the long ball tactic where Fernando Hierro locates Roberto Carlos on the wing who will have the trio to combine with. Although he won the La Liga, he was unpopular with then president Lorenzo Sans and the club fans who were not happy that Raul was played in the wings. A not too successful stint at AC Milan led the Italian out of the Rossonerri and in to the Gialorossi , AS Roma. He was successful, winning the Scudetto in 2001, But diminishing returns set in for the club as a series of bad results led the Italian to move to Juventus. Despite winning two scudetti in 2005 and 2006, the club was stripped of their title due to the Calciopoli scandal. He moved to England and Russia where he had short managerial spells.

Carlo Ancelotti

The Italian was a former player for AC Milan and he is currently the only coach in the UEFA champions’ league history to win the trophy 3 times and reach four finals. He had successful spells in clubs such as Chelsea, P.S.G and Real Madrid. He is known for his pragmatic style of play and loves to attack. He won the champions league with Real Madrid in the 2013/2014 season.

PHILOSOPHY

He is a great tinker who reads games and changes formation during the match. He likes attacking football and gave his great attacking players a free role, while building the team around them. This he did with Kaka at AC Milan and Ronaldo in Real Madrid.

Claudio Ranieri

Born in Rome, Italy, Claudio Ranieri is a former player and current manager of Leicester City. He has previously managed many European clubs, including Cagliari, Napoli, Valencia, Athletico Madrid, Roma, Inter Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and Monaco. He was the coach of the Greek national team, but was sacked due to poor results after four months.

PHILOSOPHY

In his debut for Leicester City against Sunderland, he told the media after the game that he inspired the team to win by giving them motivation from the rock band Kasabian. He is known for his discipline and his formation tinkering. Ranieri is one coach who is not afraid to try new things. He currently plays an Alex Ferguson style 4-4-2 formation where he makes use of his creative midfielders and sometimes tinkers it to a 3-5-2 when attacking. He is famous for his motivation and development of average players to become super stars.

EventsMy Industry Nite Diary – Winifred Ononikpo by magazineguy(op): 12:55pm On Apr 15, 2016
Finding myself in a sea of strange Lagosians was definitely not how I envisaged my Wednesday night will go. But as the popular saying goes, I guess life threw a couple of lemons at me and this review is the lemonade I made out of it! Since the inception of Industry Nite in 2008, different Lagos scenes have witnessed habitual nocturnal streams out for the mid-week groove which takes place every Wednesday. On this particular one, I happened to be in attendance at the popular restaurant by day, clubhouse by night Spice Route located on 36 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Reception: At the gate I met a hive of bouncers and unfortunately, I was rather early so these Dwayne Johnson looking fellows thoroughly had my time. After what I assumed was their protocol and having to part with copies of the magazine I came to distribute, they let me in, a waitress was courteous enough to show me to a seat which I am still grateful for because it enabled me savor the show in its entirety.

Ambiance: Fully air-conditioned, good lighting, live-band and DJ Consequence on deck. The most fascinating thing about Spice Route (you can easily guess this if you’ve been there) is the giant Buddha statue at right angle to the stage. This massive masterpiece is literally a show on its own and mother of all the other Indian artefacts there indicating how deeply rooted Spice Route is in Indian culture.

The Host: This guy had ENERGY. At a point I remember asking myself “Is this guy in the same room that I am in?” because he was sweating from all the vibes he was giving off and I was hella chilled. Note that the event proper hadn’t even started at this point. I have to give it to SPANKY for bringing so much adrenaline to the show.

THE EVENT/PERFORMERS: Korra Obidi, Mz Kiss, Saeon, Immaculate, Emma Nyra, Niniola, Monica Ogah and a host of other performers took to the stage one after the other to thrill the audience with rap, punch lines, nightingale-like singing, dance moves etc. I totally commend the artists’ use of stage or should I say economy of stage because live-band equipment had taken up a good chunk of the space provided. So kudos on still being able to drop and stomp in heels, exuding energy on a hundred.

ATTENDEES: Over a year ago, I observed Lagos night lifers don’t really come for the fun; instead they sip their drink, bore into you with stares, and now added to that, make active snaps when their fave songs come on. Industry Nite had a dose of this in good measure. So yeah, same old story; although a few people DID really dance and turn up. It will be a foul to omit the celebrities I saw in attendance – Naeto C, Uti Nwachukwu, Uche Sensei, Peter of P-Square, Vanessa Mdee from Tanzania and Ehiz the MTV Base Veejay.

DAMAGE DONE: Sound was not top notch as some artists had to switch mics in-between performance and when the DJ was not blasting their song over the speakers, I could barely hear them in their attempt to sing directly into the mic. Do I blame this on their accustom to lip-sync? I also observed when the camera guys notice someone really getting their groove on, they tend to focus on them. The downside to this is that anyone who watches a clip from this event will assume everyone was turned up that much and that was not so. But I guess that’s part of the showbiz trick.

RATING: on a scale of 1-10, I’d jointly rate Industry Nite and Spice Route 7.5

LiteratureCamera On Roll, Action, Cut – A Short Poem by magazineguy(op): 8:29pm On Apr 13, 2016
I wish to watch behind the scenes of a movie,

Of which I’m the main character,

I can’t figure out a title for the movie,

Drama, comedy are all added up as themes of my movie,

A film full of people with brains such of an ant,

Others of a fly thinking of making sense out of garbage,

I won’t include such people as casts,

I climbed over a mountain to look down upon my past,

Where I met a hateful person who doesn’t have a second name,

Otherwise known as regrets,

Regrets had no time to showcase it’s face over the camera,

It never appeared on my script,

Whenever I was in action I’ll always meet up regrets,

Holding a machete covered with people dressed up as spiders,

Aiming to intoxicate my heart,

My movie is merely a ripe mango called life,

Falling down from a mango tree,

From afar I heard an echo with the words camera on roll, action, cut,

I defined the words as pause, play and rewind.

TV/MoviesRe: This Movie Shows God Indeed Performs Miracles - Winifred Ononikpo by magazineguy(op): 11:22am On Apr 12, 2016
magazineguy:
Set in middle-class Texas, Miracles From Heaven may at first come off as one of those medical diagnosis movies such as My Sister’s Keeper or The Fault In Our Stars where emotional twists and turns lead to the eventual death of the main character. It is ALMOST predictable. The movie sure has its dose of plot twists but the eventual turn out of events is most unanticipated.

The faith of a Christian family is put to test when the second of their 3 beautiful girls comes down with a rare ailment which defies all medical diagnosis. Jennifer Garner plays the part of a distraught mother (Christy Beam) to Anna Beam, the sick 10-year old (Kylie Rogers). She is torn and questions why a little girl should be plagued by unexplainable episodes. Even when she fights to keep her faith, the church becomes hostile and she finds herself at the mercy of Children Specialist, Dr. Nurko, played by Eugenio Derbez who is impossible to see without an appointment booked at least a year in advance! With the help of “angels in human form”, Christy is finally able to get Dr. Nurko to see her daughter but his hands are tied – Anna will NOT survive. As if all of that pain is not enough, Anna is involved in an accident which judging by human standard, is not supposed to survive but her Miracle From Heaven occurs, leaving everyone in a state of confusion, disbelief and joy.

The theme of love and family, hope and despair, faith and fear is well portrayed in this piece. In the face of on-going circumstances, Anna’s family stick together and make sacrifices for her so she does not feel alone in her situation. It would have been totally unrealistic if the family was portrayed as all perfect, with no flaws; they had major fights and fall outs, showing how Anna’s sickness was taking its tow on the family. But above all, love prevails, God intervenes and His intervention reaffirms He is Supreme, alive and working.

The actors in this movie could not have done it any better. It appeared everyone understood their role and brought the plot to life. Production of the movie was good as no element seemed to be lacking or out of place. Permit me to be a bit bias, but owing my Christian faith, I rated this movie 5 out of 5 because it is based on a true life story, was well translated to a movie and reaffirms that miracles are real and happen around us every day!

CultureHow To Have A Positive Mind - Stephney Bass by magazineguy(op): 8:37pm On Mar 31, 2016
I always look up to prominent writers that put together inspirational write-ups that motivate the masses. Such brilliance! I admire going through each sentence word for word and sinking deep into the writers thoughts as they transcends as mine, thinking to myself how amazing the piece was because I had felt the impact and in a special way I had been able to connect with the writers point of view and the writers aim which is to take the reader on a journey, come to think of it, that is every writers dream - to take the reader on a journey that could connect you to their innermost thoughts and reasoning.

Notable motivational writers I have been privileged to acknowledge have sown a seed of positive thinking for many generations.

The uniqueness in each writers prospective on how to jump hurdles, achieve success, quash fear, embrace self-confidence, strengthen wisdom and skill, broaden knowledge, sharpen intelligence and of course emulate a praying attitude are all but one goal with different approaches.

As overwhelmed as I feel each time I learn something new or read something fresh, I would take the liberty to share that feeling I get from each author I have had to encounter in my youth.

Some of my very admirable authors and their famously intelligent quotes are based on my research which a few might agree with whilst others might contribute by thought.

Romance5 Steps To Keeping The Love Flame Burning by magazineguy(op): 2:24pm On Feb 17, 2016
It’s week 3 into our Valentine series owing it is the month of February and the season of love. I feel really honored writing about love and relationships especially as I’m not a relationship expert. When I conceived this idea and pitched it to my editor, I started wondering what I was thinking but thankfully, I’ve been able to pull through and here we are.

Well, this week I’ll be shedding light on how partners can sustain the spark/flame/fire/glow/vibe (whatever you choose to call it) of their relationship. I’ve heard people whine and complain a lot about how the beginning of their relationship was rosy and they could literally see starts in their partner’s eyes when they stared into them; but months or years on, all that glistering seems to fade away or get replaced with struggles.

Good news! You no longer have to deal with struggles; brace up because the flame is about to be reignited following these 5 easy guidelines.

Surprises: nothing says “thinking about you” like springing a good surprise on your partner. It can literally light up a thousand bulbs in their world. The fact that you actually thought it through to send them flowers, gifts, lunch at break time etc when they least expect it goes to show you have them in mind. Surprises show that no matter how crazy your schedule is, you still find time to arrange a thoughtful gesture; and how heart-warming is that?

Date nights: some may argue this is borrowed culture from the West but it doesn’t make it less of a way to keep the flame in your relationship alight. Date night may or may not be weekly depending on your budget/schedule but incorporating it in your relationship will surely do it a whole lot of good. Find time to seclude yourselves from the craziness of work or the chatter of kids and go out to eat a nice meal, watch a nice movie, or even go clubbing. No matter the location, time spent together as a couple is very valuable and endears partners to each other a lot more.

Public Display of Affection (P.D.A): Nigerians will stare at you in an awkward manner, iya-alata will judge you with her eyes, children in their naivety will jeer and close their eyes but it is in your power to not let the reaction from the world deter you from expressing love to your partner publicly. Hand in hand strolls, forehead kisses and stolen kisses, brushing hair off your babe’s face, whispering sweet nonsenses in each other’s ears, compliments, private jokes etc done in public make up some of the ways to display affection publicly. Granted, you may be dating an extremely shy person; it is up to you as the bolder partner to make them comfortable with PDA. No need to go about it forcibly; with more subtle gestures and time, PDA can actually grow on your once shy partner.

Remember important dates: this particularly entails anniversaries and birthdays. It doesn’t just end at remembering, also make effort to do or buy something new and special for them. Days like that come only once in an entire year and remembering shows you care. Unless under very reasonable circumstances, do not forget important dates. They are one of the life wires that keep a relationship going.

Pray: ever seen or heard where something had the Almighty’s backing and it failed? I haven’t and I’m guessing you haven’t as well. The importance of praying for your partner can never be over emphasized. Your partner’s challenges are invariably your challenges and combating them spiritually saves you both a whole lot of stress. Pray, so you don’t fall prey to the antics of the enemy; pray so your love is one that stands the test of time and above all, pray so blessings and joy does not elude you two.

Stick around for the final dose of the Valentine series and don’t limit showing love to just February; every waking day is indeed one to reassure your boo you got love deeper than the ocean for them.

CelebritiesWhy Artistes' Merchandise Fails In Nigeria - Survey by magazineguy(op): 12:37pm On Feb 05, 2016
http://www.tushmagazine.com.ng/artistes-and-merchandise-in-nigeria/

The Nigeria music industry is now by large one of the biggest industries in the Nigeria media world; moving from a confine-figured industry to a million-dollar industry. YES! a million-dollar industry if you evaluate the costs of audio and video productions being churned out now on a frequent basis. We have gone from the primitive era where artistes are either seen as miscreants or individuals without a purpose in life. Now majority of music investors are lawyers, bankers and a large margin, businessmen which goes a long way in portraying the goldmine existing in the music industry.

Over the years, artistes have become millionaires by virtue of their crafts and talents usually earning incomes from shows and endorsements. Sales of albums or merchandise don’t matter much to them, quite sadly because of the piracy level operating in Nigeria. While I am not an expert in album marketing or piracy-control itself, I feel artistes’ attitude aren’t good enough which allows the level of piracy growing each and every day and can also spill over to their merchandise.

A handful of artistes who have delved into merchandising have been forced to the exit point and this furthermore allows for piracy to triumph yet again. So far, the most successful merchandise in the Nigeria music industry will have to be Terry Tha Rapman’s “Boys Are Not Smiling” tees [although now extinct] and DJ Jimmy Jatt’s snap back caps which am not sure is still commercial. The operating secret here isn’t far-fetched – this merchandise has been operating in the last eight years and it is being produced by Marco Martini. I remember he exhibited his products at various campus tradefairs that was being organized at that moment.

Between 2012 and mid-2014, there weren’t any major artiste merchandise until Phyno’s Alobam tees became a sort of trend for fashion lovers. Sadly again, the success of that venture didn’t even last 6 months before we found counterfeit littered all around like a sachet of pure water. Kudos to Phyno for the packaging he gave the tees but believe me, he could have done more and the success rate will have turned out massively. I read an interview of the manufacturers of the Alobam tees and their lamentations still evolved around piracy. I remembered I was going to buy for a friend but she rejected it mainly for the singular reason that it was “casted”. Iceprince also came through with his super cool cat sunglasses but am not aware of any purchaser even with the whole hype that the sunglasses will be delivered personally by Iceprince himself. Dammy Krane also joined the list of artistes merchandising their materials but quite sadly, it started only lasted for a while – period of promotion for the single itself, Amin.

While I quite agree that with piracy still on the high side, it would be difficult to operate merchandise here in Nigeria, I also agree that it is highly possible if artistes show some level of interest. An example from actress Genevieve Nnaji’s St. Genevieve dress, Mavin’s A&R Bizzle Ozikoya snap backs or even Temitayo’s 24 apparel shows merchandise can thrive successfully here in Nigeria without letting piracy have a field day at all.

A careful observation into the aforementioned examples shows that most of these outfits/wear/snapbacks all have one center of purchase – online market. Another great observation is the production of variety of designs from which fans/customers can choose from; the competition gap between authentic artistes merchandise and Ibo buys would be greatly reduced.

Nigeria artistes have turn out to be globally recognized artistes which has enable a few of them organized successful tours outside the shores of Nigeria, aside the music, fans would love to have any material related to their favourite artistes. Using tours as a means of marketing/distributing such merchandise would gather a reasonable amount of revenue.

With the year already rolling, I expect brand merchandising be included in some these artistes plans for the year.

If you take a pee break off Twitter, you are certainly set to miss something or come back to meet everyone going off about something. Luckily, the hash tags make it easy to catch up and follow updates about a trend.

As much as people make noise about leaving a certain pattern of behaviour in an old year while heralding the arrival of a new one, some of these patterns creep their way into the new year.

2016 was not left out as its inception witnessed the #WasteHisTime2016 trend. Interestingly, it appeared to be a global movement as fellow Twitter users abroad joined in trending the hash tag.

The bottom line of this trend was an outcry by heartbroken females, suggesting tactical ways of leading the male folk on and dashing their hopes of a serious relationship just when he’s at the nip of thinking or believing he’s in one.

Now one would imagine guys will be more mature and laugh it off but trust social media to dish the exact opposite. There was an instant backlash on females resulting to #WasteHerTime2016.

On close analysis of both trends, the real situation is #WasteYourTime2016. I want to believe all the tweets I read in relation to these trends were banter and no one actually applied them to their real life.

At any point in time, your resources, especially time, money and even emotions are invested in carrying out your “revenge mission”. You may be thrilled your plot to get back at someone is working out but in the real sense, you’re wasting your time as well. The time spent playing Femi for being a Yoruba demon could have been used in meeting Dele who is better off and building a relationship or network that will turn out very beneficial.

There’s really no gain going after a new person in hopes of meting out ill treatment just to have revenge for what was done to you previously. If it works out and the new victim goes on the same spree as well, the result is a trail of broken hearts which isn’t good for the world.

Mother Teresa said it is a kingly act to assist the fallen; if we really want to love, we must learn how to forgive; and it is in loving we are loved as well.

As we herald the month of February, the month of love/Valentine, I strongly advocate for #LetThatHurtGo2016. You’ll be shocked at how different the air of freedom feels compared to the thick mist of not forgiving.
